For robust natures
The campsite itself is very nice, shady and idyllically situated by a stream. Especially nice for cyclists with tents. You can choose your own pitch. Very nice reception. We would give it 5 stars for that. The sanitary buildings are used by the swimming pool visitors during the day and are not cleaned... in the evening. It looked like a hot day in the swimming pool: toilets peed on, toilet paper on the floor, showers and shelves under water, pools of soap. I would give it a maximum of 2 points. High noise level until the pool closed at 20:30. At night someone banged on a metal gate or something similar for a long time, which sounded like a temple gong. This campsite, which is not cheap, is only recommended for those with a robust nature.

Camping in the outdoor pool
A new favorite on our list, we can also stay here a second time. From the friendly email confirming a pitch to the first personal contact with the friendly swimming pool manager with his tips and tricks about the campsite and the surrounding area to the Rhine Falls, everything was great. The sanitary... facilities were mostly clean, depending on the number of guests in the outdoor pool, but were cleaned again in the evening and were only available to campers and guests of the bistro, at least overnight. 2 discount stores within walking distance with their own bakery or local bakery also round off the site. The use of the outdoor pool is included in the pitch fee, which makes the pitch even more attractive. And for campers who want to visit the Rhine Falls, it's easy to cycle to Neuhausen. Our clear recommendation. And remember, camper van drivers greet each other.

Absolutely quiet place with swimming pool, barbecue area, soccer etc.

Toilets are cleaned several times a day.
Very cheap compared to other campsites.

Swimming pool with campsite and not, as usual, the other way around!
The municipal outdoor pool of Jestetten has reserved part of it as a campsite. Cyclists in particular find this spot evening after evening. For children, the site offers pure bathing fun in good weather. When the bathers have gone, a small campsite remains, simple but good. The sanitary facilities are... not for the faint-hearted during the day (it's a swimming pool after all), but the shopping facilities are impressively close by. The area, where Switzerland and Germany alternate, with the Rhine Falls and Schaffhausen nearby, also has a lot to offer. Except for cyclists with small luggage, advance booking is essential, the site has a maximum of 10 pitches.
