"Dutch backyard ... - I was from 17. to 22.08.2025 with a small caravan on the campsite Holländischer Hof. My conclusion ... not recommended. I will definitely not come here again. The campsite is almost exclusively Dutch, only something for Dutch people. Some of the staff do not speak German on a German campsite. I had to leave a day early for medical reasons. The pitch fee for this was not refunded. The campsite is located directly on the Moselle, but only the pitches on the Moselle itself have a view of the river. As the owners stipulate that the mobile homes must be aligned with the doors facing the paths, most of the pitches have no view of the Moselle. Many pitches are very small and only a few square meters in size. The paths and some of the pitches are paved with basalt stones. In dry weather, the whole site becomes dusty and everything gets dirty. The sanitary facilities are usually well maintained, but at peak times the floor is dangerously slippery, especially in the shower area when wet, and the sanitary facilities are far away from many pitches. Beware of hidden charges ... WLAN, reservation costs, waste disposal fee and the showers on the campsite must be paid for with coins, which are available at reception. Electricity is billed by KWh but the meter readings are taken covertly without the camper, which is expensive and untraceable. Fresh water can be refilled at several points. Regarding the restaurant, the food was rather mediocre, most of the staff do not speak German. The campsite offers relatively good exercise facilities for dogs, bags and separate garbage cans are available.

"Many hidden costs - The restaurant does not offer good food, The showers on the campsite are to be paid for with coins, which are available at reception. However, good showers do not have loose hose nozzles, but fixed overhead showers. You have to pay for showers, you have to pay for garbage bags, you have to pay for water, you have to pay for air.... soon you will also have to pay The campsite offers good exercise facilities for dogs, and the rules for dogs seem to be quite well observed. However, you do occasionally see a dog running loose near the caravans. - Dog owners... - take responsibility! ALWAYS KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEAD! The campsite has waste water disposal facilities, toilets and a toilet cassette cleaning machine! Cost: 2 euros. Fresh water can be refilled at several places.

"maar aantal plaatsen aan Moezel zelf is beperkt. - Stayed here for five days in July with the caravan. Camping ligt direct aan Moezel, maar aantal plaatsen aan Moezel zelf is beperkt. Moezelzicht is he voor overige plaatsen meestal niet bij. Veel plaatsen zijn klein/weinig m2. Everything is therefore close to each other and camping is therefore a bit romantic. Onze buurvrouw: "ben 40 jaar getrouwd, maar heb voor het eerst weer vlak naast andere mensen geslapen" Keurig sanitair dat goed onderhouden wordt. Vloer douche-deel is nat gevaarlijk glad. Camping bijna 100% Hollanders. Geluid van brug is op achtergrond went snel/niet hinderlijk. Small, ingeslapen dorpjes in de buurt. Leuk en levendiger, maar wat verderop: Cochem en Zell. Tip: ontvangst bij aankomst kan beter. Toegang is smal en het kan dan snel druk op weg voor receptie zijn. Wij werden, moe na rit vanuit NL/blij dat we camping gevonden hadden, door medewerker naar "parkeren aan linkerkant weg" 'geblaft'.

"Germans not welcome - Repeated the same experience. Only the Dutch are ok as guests. spent 3 days. Place was under water. way too much mud. the owner didn't want to accept our voucher, it was an unpleasant experience.

"We won't be coming back here again. - Four of us were at this campsite at the beginning of May and each had 1x comfort pitch with private sanitary facilities. The electricity bill for 5 days with a folding tent was supposed to be 55kw/h. That's €42!? I think that's too much and you can't check it because the meter readings are always taken without a camper. You can't shake the feeling that you're paying in kWh for a hot shower. We won't be coming back here again.
