Uwe P.augusti 20245.0Uwe P.augusti 2024PositivaLocation, top pitches with state-of-the-art sewage, water and electrical technology. Also top sanitary facilities. Rest periods are generally observed with great discipline. Bread roll service. Top price-performance.NegativaNo real disadvantage, but the pool is a bit small with shallow water depth for inclined swimmers.Pearl of the OstalbIdyllically situated economy pitches (electricity only) or standard pitches with water, waste water and electricity next to the permanent camper pitches. All pitches are well maintained, partly terraced, very level, wedges rarely required.
A great starting point for those seeking peace and quiet or cyclists... and hikers. There is usually a light breeze, which is very pleasant, especially on very hot days.
Very friendly staff with personal site instructions.
Small store, coffee and ice machines, wine, water, soft drinks, canned food from the local butcher.
A huge stand with excursion destinations up to hiking maps etc. completes the whole thing.
In addition, the inn a few meters from the square, with outdoor terrace from 17.00 clock with good bourgeois, German cuisine.
Excellent value for money. Mixed roast, for example, with spaetzle 13.90 EUR, so even families with children can eat out more often without breaking the budget.
A few meters further along the main road there is also a snack bar for small appetites.
A great campsite with flair at an excellent price-performance ratio.Automatiskt översatt.2 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 5.0RKRainer K.maj 20245.0RKRainer K.maj 2024PositivaCleanliness, friendliness, very nice pitchesNegativaNone found!!! Possibly lack of shopping facilities.A "little dream" of a campsiteWe stayed on the pitch for eleven days and felt very comfortable despite the immense amounts of water. Electricity/water and lighting are right on the pitch.
There wasn't a single cobweb to be found in the sanitary facilities. The scullery was self-cleaning, so everyone cleaned up afterwards, and so... was the kitchen!
Dogs are free of charge and also get a gift!
The associated restaurant offers excellent cuisine, especially the Maultaschen - a poem!Automatiskt översatt.1 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 3.0

Micha Z.mars 20235.0MZMicha Z.mars 2023Positiva- Operator super nice! - Very nice permanent tenants/campers (at least the ones we met) - Toilets and showers spotlessly clean! - The site is very well maintained and partly brand new. - Dogs and children friendly (operator has dogs himself) - There is a small restaurant with very good food right next to the site and a stone's throw away a legendary snack bar for the area. - What surprised us personally was the baby room with a baby bath for bathing and a changing corner including a radiant heater to turn on. - Not so often and for us at least a first - the dishwashers. Ingenious for families or for those who like to cook a lot and don't like to wash camping dishes. - Also not so often, even if not so "pretty", the pool. We celebrated it. Unfortunately, it wasn't in use yet (frost/out of season). Still, it's great when some places do the work! - Right next to it a really great and spacious playground 👍 - Ice cream and coffee machine in the anteroom of the reception / permanently accessible 👍 great thing. - There are also various accommodations for rent on the pitch.Negativa- You have to walk a little way to do your shopping or you can make do with the small store in reception.Very nice place with an ingenious starting pointFor me, as a small family of three (daughter 8 months, parents both around 40) with a caravan, it's a really fantastic place in a fantastic area and an ingenious starting point for great city trips and excursions into the countryside.
The site management was very good.
From our point of view there... is nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back... next time with grandma and grandpa who would love to spend the night in a camping barrel like this!Automatiskt översatt.1 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 5.0MWMichael W.juli 20225.0MWMichael W.juli 2022PositivaNot to be outdone in terms of dog friendliness. Super price-performance ratio. Great pitches.NegativaNone found.Absolute recommendation! We've been to lots of campsites with our two dogs, but we've never been able to bring them along for free. The walkway around the campsite was mowed. The showers were free and you could set the temperature yourself. We had a different experience this year in Gerolstein. The dishwasher for the guests... was also a first for us. At the end there was a detailed bill and you paid for your vacation after it was over, not in advance. As in the Gerolstein mentioned above.
For us it was two wonderful weeks with nothing to complain about.Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. Sanitary facilities are very clean. Everything is available for supply and disposal. Very friendly staff. In the economy at the campsite you get good home cooking, we liked it very much.
The proximity to Aalen with the thermal baths, about 12 km, is good. Bread roll service is also available.

Vara den första! - 3.0MKManuel K.augusti 20213.0MKManuel K.augusti 2021PositivaVery quiet location. Beautiful landscapeNegativaLittle to no mobile phone reception. WLAN usually not sufficient.Recommended for switching offWe were passing through on the A8 and spent 2 nights here with the motorhome. We reserved a parking space in advance by email, which went smoothly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the main building, you can buy everyday essentials. I found it pleasant that everything is booked on the pitch... and you can pay for everything together when you check out. This also applies to baked goods, which you can order the day before. These are highly recommended. WLAN is provided by Freifunk. During our stay, the WiFi was not usable as it seemed that many other campers were using the WiFi at the same time. The mobile phone network, e.g. Vodafon, is virtually non-existent. Of course, if you want to switch off properly, this is an advantage. The nearest supermarket is in the neighboring village. You can choose between two buildings with the same facilities to use the sanitary facilities. The rooms appeared clean and well maintained. We didn't find the disposal room of the chemical toilet too pleasant, it made a somewhat unclean impression. The pitch is completely landscaped and is clean and well maintained. There are plenty of fresh water taps available. Electricity is charged per use.
If you met one of the many permanent campers in the sanitary facilities, you easily had the feeling of being disturbed in some way.
All in all, a recommendable place for travelers who like hiking or biking. The landscape is very hilly and challenging. We would stay here again for a short stay.Automatiskt översatt.1 campare tyckte att detta omdöme var hjälpsamt. - 5.0MKMichael K.augusti 20215.0MKMichael K.augusti 2021PositivaThe friendliness, the welcome package for our dogs and the fact that dogs are not only welcome but also free of charge. The unrivaled priceNegativaThe weather, but that's not the campsite's faultGreat place, friendly people and everything super cleanAfter our newly purchased used caravan had to stand around for a year due to the coronavirus, we were finally able to inaugurate it. And we couldn't have found a better place for it!
Situated in the middle of wonderful nature, you have peace and quiet and can still reach a larger town for shopping within... a short time.
The cleanliness is remarkable, sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day.
The organization is great, the daily bread roll service is perfectly organized.
Culinary delights are also on offer, on the one hand the restaurant at the campsite with great food and directly opposite the snack bar with the best currywurst I have ever eaten in southern Germany :)

Vara den första! - 3.0OWOlaf W.maj 20203.0OWOlaf W.maj 2020PositivaThe pitch itself was quite nice. However, the pictures, especially the aerial shots, give the impression that you have a great view, but unfortunately you "only" look across a meadow to a forest behind it. That's ok, but we had expected something different.NegativaUnfortunately not the expected view and the sanitary facilities in the main building are very clean, but extremely cramped and definitely need a thorough renovation. The shower heads in 2 cabins are only permanently installed and calcified, so that the water splashes everywhere except on the body.Small space with room for improvementSomehow I can't agree with the previous speakers about the quiet location of the campsite. We were there over Whitsun and the nearby road down to Essingen is a motorcycle refuge and is therefore often used for "revving up" uphill. This died down towards the evening and it was completely quiet at night....
Definitely a good starting point for hikes to Rosenstein and the Steinerne Meer/Valley.
You should definitely visit the snack bar opposite the entrance to the campsite. They have the best currywurst south of Berlin.....Automatiskt översatt.Inga campare har markerat det här omdömet som hjälpsamt ännu. Vara den första! - 4.0
