- Ingo E.August 2023PozitivnoThe situationNegativnoThe high priceUsuryWe wanted to camp in santa susanna for the first time. At the registration desk, my wife was offered a pitch right by the sea. My wife said that there could also be another pitch, but they were all full. After viewing the site, we went to reception. After completing the formalities, we were told the... price for one day from 24 to 25.8.23: €92!
You can get a hotel room for that money. Without further ado, we turned around and left the reception. We drove back to blanes and spent the night for 51€Аутоматски преведено. - Maria H.May 2019PozitivnoSeats directly on the beachNegativnoLoud, loud, loudThe last timeThis was our second time at this campsite after 5 years. The surroundings are not really our thing (lots of tourist stores and hotel castles), but the location right by the sea is just great. However, a few things have changed in recent years: the pitches in the front row are now a bit back because the... beach promenade was built in front of the campsite. On the left-hand side of the site, what used to be the second row has now become the first. The feeling of camping directly on the beach suffers a little, but the view of the sea is still great. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. The toilet paper dispensers in the anteroom are pretty stupid as the paper is lying around everywhere. But what really annoyed us was the noise at night. Especially at the weekend, the Spaniards partied all night on the beach, talking loudly and walking across the pitches. It was really annoying. The staff at reception were sometimes very friendly, but sometimes rude. It depends on who's there at the time... Apart from the location, the site has no advantages for us - we won't be coming back.Аутоматски преведено.
- Peter S.November 2017PozitivnoYou can stand right on the beachNegativnotoo expensive - too unsafe - very unfriendly almost outrageousbad bad, loudWe were here for the 6th and last time last weekend. You are driven to white heat with techno music until 5 a.m., there's no chance of getting any sleep. The "very friendly" receptionist asked if I would allow myself to have problems when the whole world is starving, unemployed and has no money. Never again - it just makes you feel insecureАутоматски преведено.

- Petra S.December 2016PozitivnoThe advantage of this campsite is its location directly on the beach.Christmas vacation 2016/2017 was terrible, never againWe've been going to Santa Susana for Christmas for years. So far it has always been fine. Every year it got fuller and louder. This time there was total chaos. Mobile homes are broken into during the day, fireworks are thrown at you by rowdy youths a week before New Year's Eve. Drinking bouts, brawls, fighting dogs running loose, everything is tolerated on this site. You are told at reception that there is nothing you can do. Never again!Аутоматски преведено.
- Holmer L.October 2016PozitivnoLocation. Location. Location!!!! Price for this view OK. Supermarket renovated in 2016 and much clearer!NegativnoUnfortunately 5-7 degrees colder in winter than in Almeria and Alicante.Stand right by the sea .... You couldn't ask for more!!!The location right by the sea - simply perfect. Sanitary well-kept and clean - but needs to be renovated soon🛁. Beautiful, clean beach and good shopping facilities nearby despite the winter season. Shopping center in Mataro super good. Always come here at the start and end of our winter vacation - now for the 3rd year in a row.Аутоматски преведено.
- Joachim H.July 2016PozitivnoLocation, peace and quiet, sea and and andNegativnoRelatively small pitches in the 1st rowWe feel at home here....Directly on the beach, which is rare. Price performance is OK. We stay here often and always feel at home. Behind the square is a promenade with stalls in the evening, where you can go for a walk to pass the time. From midnight it gets quiet on the square, which promises relaxation. Small drawback, there... are many yellow license plates and these people don't always keep themselves in check (peeing on the beach, leaving garbage lying around) bäh....Аутоматски преведено.
- Thomas S.August 2015PozitivnoDirect location to the beach (no road in between), functional pool / children's pool, friendly staff, great for strolling, also for kidsNegativno- if you are looking for real peace and nature, this is not the place for you - Santa Susanna itself has little greenery and lots of concreteCentrally located place - top! We've already been to this site twice - once with a caravan in the first row by the sea (2013) and once we rented a cabin (2015). A huge advantage is the possibility to camp directly on the beach - there is no road in between. As the beach is very wide, you don't have to worry about your children - the... water is relatively far away. However, the campsite is therefore easily accessible to everyone... . If you want shade, you can easily find it on the rear pitches. The cabins (even the cheapest ones) are well equipped and clean. If you book rear pitches / cabins on the site, you can hear the road, the railroad line and also the hustle and bustle of the Santa Susanna promenade. However, we didn't find it disturbing. It is actually quiet after midnight. This is controlled by the security staff on the square itself. There is a youth camp on one side of the square. This was also not really disturbing and attention is paid to quietness (at night). During the day there is a lot going on (music, games etc.). You may not have to book directly on this side of the campsite. The pool / children's pool fulfill their purpose, but are not particularly interesting (no slide etc.). Sunbeds are generally always available and there is a pool bar. We found swimming in the sea with children problematic. The water is usually very wavy (currents) and it goes in very deep. The supermarket is great. The gastronomy fulfills its purpose. The evening program and the children's disco are a little "lame" but OK. The children's entertainment / miniclub has been redesigned, but in our opinion was not so well adapted to German children. Maybe it was also because there weren't that many German children, so our children didn't want to go to the mini club. The playground is not nice and very small. The football/basketball pitch is new and good. From the square you can be on the promenade of Santa Susanna in 3 minutes. There are many stores, stalls, restaurants and carousels etc. for children. The hinterland of St. Susanna is mountainous and green and is great for mountain biking and hiking. We drove to Barcelona a few times (45 minutes to the city center via the highway). Along the coastal road is nicer but takes longer. Conclusion: For 7-10 days or when traveling through, the place is recommended for families. For longer stays it becomes monotonous in my opinion.Аутоматски преведено.
- Andreas B.August 2015Very small spacesWe used this seat for sightseeing in Barcelona. Had no space in the front row, these pitches are more than small. If the car is also parked on the pitch, it gets very cramped. And my trailer is really not big. Car 4.63m, WW 6m with drawbar. It's also annoying to have to specify the length of stay when checking in and the associated advance payment. No money back if you leave early. Sanitary was clean, water pipes are surface-mounted.Аутоматски преведено.
- Marion B.October 2014PozitivnoUnique pitches Good opportunities to explore Girona and BarcelonaNegativnounfortunately theftSuper beautifully situated placeThis year was our fifth time at this site and it was wonderful as always. The pitches in the first row on the beach are simply a dream. You can't get any closer to the water. The sanitary facilities are very different in terms of equipment and comfort. The south-facing ones are recommended. No luxury... but always clean and decent. Always quiet in the fall, but I could imagine it being different in the summer. But we were only ever there in October. Good food is available at Pepe on the promenade in Malgrat and at Chamaco along the beach towards Malgrat. Restaurant on the square not recommended. Unfortunately there are always thefts and you have to be a bit careful. Bicycles etc. Our shoes and swimming trunks were stolen. But security is always on duty. But we will still come back, the unique pitches make up for everything.Аутоматски преведено.
- Tom M.August 2014PozitivnoPitches right on the beach with a great view. Good and inexpensive supermarketNegativnoPitches on the beach far too small. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Parking facilities for cars are lacking.mediocre campsite with beautiful pitch view directly on the beachHello everyone, we stayed at the Bon Repos campsite for 18 nights this summer in July - August. Even the access road to the campsite was very sobering. The access road is manageable with large caravans, but after a journey of almost 1500 km, I found it very tight. When we arrived at the campsite, we... immediately blocked the entire main access road with 2 caravans, as there is no space in front of the campsite for new arrivals. Although we had booked 3/4 of a year before and had specified the length of our caravan several times, we were offered a pitch that was one meter shorter and almost 2 meters narrower than our caravan. After a short discussion, I was offered a pitch in the 2nd row from the beach, although I had specifically booked in the first row. After a bit of excitement, we were given a pitch right on the beach. The access to the pitch was far too narrow due to cars parked to the side. Unfortunately, our pitch only measured 9.50 x 5.50 m and that was a bad joke for a caravan with a total length of 8.50 m plus awning and car. The pitch was tiny and the car didn't fit on the plot, but the view was fantastic and I didn't feel like having any further discussions after the journey. The caravans were very close together, sometimes 50 cm - 1.00 m apart. When the site staff demanded that the cars, which were parked in a narrow area opposite the pitches, be removed, I no longer understood the world. There are not enough parking spaces. The staff had no solution, but the cars had to go. I refused to drive my car away and more or less left the parking attendant standing there. Unfortunately, because the path was far too narrow, I had 2 small bumps on my vehicle, which I just found annoying. The sanitary facilities were very basic, there are no stand-up urinals, which I see as the biggest disadvantage as the toilets got quite dirty as a result. The toilet paper dispensers meant that there was always paper on the floor throughout the toilet area. Of course, it's the campers who cause the soiling here, but given the price of the campsite, I expected more cleanliness. The number of showers, toilets and sinks is not sufficient in my opinion. Unfortunately, there were frequent water outages, which meant that it was not possible to shower, wash or flush the toilet. The beach in our section was cleaned very poorly or not at all, as the cleaning machine supposedly couldn't reach it. The manual cleaning was done very sloppily, every 10th piece of waste was only picked up. The sand is coarse-grained and not fine, but it is less disturbing. The sea wasn't that clean either, lots of debris floating around. This was supposedly due to heavy rainfall, which washed the garbage from the dry riverbeds into the sea. Unfortunately, the drain for the chemical toilet was not cleaned properly once during the 18 nights. Dog walking is possible, but rather modest. Dogs can defecate along the railroad tracks along the sidewalk, but it's not nice. But there are not only negative things to report. The view from the pitches in the first row on the beach is fantastic. The supermarket on the site doesn't open until 8:30 am, but is then open until 9 pm. The range is quite varied and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for a campsite. The surroundings are not so nice. Large parking lots, lots of coach traffic, just a package tourist resort. A large supermarket is one kilometer away from the campsite. I expected a bit more from this campsite and will book somewhere else next year. GreetingsАутоматски преведено.
- Katharina S.June 2014PozitivnoProximity to the seaNegativnoThat many people pass in front of the camper. You can't get any closerIf, like us, you always want to camp in the first row, this is the place for you. You can't get any closer to the sea. In high season there would be too many people for us. But otherwise a brilliant place. We'll be back!!!!Аутоматски преведено.
- Achim S.May 2014PozitivnoMany pitches directly on the beach with direct access, no wire fence, no bushes. Within walking distance of the village. Friendly staffNegativnoIn the high season, the premium beach pitches are mercilessly expensive. The sanitary facilities could be nicer. WLAN could radiate further.Nice medium-sized campsite in an ideal location directly on the beach and close to the city centerBeautifully situated campsite with several rental bungalows directly on the wide sandy beach, with approx. 80 (!) so-called premium pitches for caravans or motorhomes in the front row with an unrestricted view of the beach and sea. This is very rare in Europe. However, these premium pitches are considerably... more expensive than the 160 or so pitches behind them, which are also shadier and less exposed to the wind. This is where the (often Dutch) camping professionals go on permanent vacation (open all year round). Some of the bungalows (approx. 10 - 12) are located directly on the sandy beach (behind the premium caravan pitches) and were completely renovated inside in May 2014. The location in the town area of Santa Susanna is outstanding, just a few steps along the public beach and you can go shopping or visit discos and cafés. The shopping mile stretches as far as Malgrat, and everything is geared towards tourist needs. However, there is no beach promenade to stroll along. There is a Lidl discount store (approx. 1200m) and a shopping center with a Carrefour supermarket (approx. 800m) on the N-II thoroughfare outside the town. The train line to Barcelona runs along the Cp, but the trains run slowly and quietly here and cannot be heard in most places. The train station is only a few steps away, easily accessible through a nearby pedestrian underpass. The same applies to the market every Tuesday, for which the entire street along the station is closed to vehicle traffic. About 500m from the beach, tourist boats dock for trips to the coastal towns, from Calella to Lloret and Tossa de Mar. There is children's entertainment in high season, but swimming in the sea is only suitable for older children who can already swim, as the water gets deep very quickly. But there is also a beautifully designed rectangular pool with an additional round toddler pool. The former tennis courts have been converted into a multi-sports field. Tennis is still theoretically possible, but mostly youngsters (English classes are held here regularly) play on the concrete surface with lots of line markings for different sports. The small supermarket is well-stocked, with fresh baguettes in several varieties and croissants straight from the oven in the morning. There is a nice restaurant, we liked it there. Fast food is also available. Several people speak German at reception, but they are not always available. If you call, ask when someone who speaks German is on duty. English is probably always ok. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is free (individual access codes), but reception deteriorates the further away from reception. Several washing machines are available - and in constant use with many long-term guests. Although the sanitary facilities are better than at many other campsites in Spain, they are not flawless. At least the toilets have seats and there are two toilet paper dispensers. There are no urinals for men. Washing hands "afterwards" in the general washroom, no soap dispenser, no hand dryer. Hot water with mixer taps stops after a short time in the washbasins as in the showers. Constant pressing is annoying - but unfortunately necessary due to the carelessness of many users. No individual wash cubicles. Cleaning is done once a day, then ladies and gentlemen use the otherwise separate rooms together if necessary. Due to the direct beach location and the proximity to the town, the campsite area along the beach path is open to strangers who are interested in walking, jogging or cycling through the campsite. However, you get used to it and the campsite's security service is often out and about on electric scooters. There is a constant foot patrol at night. If you feel "safer" behind a wire mesh fence, there is an alternative in the form of the Cp (El Pinar Platja) right next to it; the Cp Bon Repos is much more popular and has been used more frequently, and people have come to terms with this situation here for many years. Apart from the not-so-great sanitary facilities, the site is one of the nicest in Spain for us due to its location close to the city and the pitches right by the sea. We were very satisfied and stayed there much longer than planned for 3 weeks and will definitely be back.Аутоматски преведено.
- Ralf L.March 2014PozitivnoBeach, beach, infrastructure. Shopping, sightseeing ...We can only recommend this campsite out of season. Great excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Great bays south of Loret de mar. You just have to challenge your sat nav a little. We are always right on the beach with our WW.Аутоматски преведено.
- Peter J.November 2012A campsite to feel good. Directly on the beach, super clean and new sanitary facilities, new reception, friendly staff. We have been coming to Bon Repos for years and every year something has been renewed or renovated. The train that runs directly in front of the campsite doesn't run at night, so it doesn't really bother us.Аутоматски преведено.

- brigitte m.April 2010This was our second time at this campsite and we were once again impressed by the beautiful location right on the sandy beach. Santa Susanna is a tourist village and certainly not the most beautiful on the coast. However, everything can be reached on foot in a short time, be it the stores, the weekly market or the train station. The new sanitary building now also has hot water. We will definitely be back!Аутоматски преведено.
