"Altstadt zu Fuß leicht erreichbar - Gutgelegener Stadt – CP, ca.700 m in die Altstadt von Vilnius, deshalb auch der viel zu hohe Preis, besser geeignet als Stellplatz für Wohnmobile, 6-7 kleine Stellplätze mit Strom auf dem Parkplatz, einfaches Sanitär im dazugehörigen Hostel,

"Mehr Hostel als Campingplatz - Der Campingplatz erfüllt seinen Zweck und ist sicher besser als andere Citycampings. Die Zeltfläche (im Garten des Hostels) ist jedoch eher karg und ungemütlich. Als Sanitäranlagen dienen die Einrichtungen im Hostel. Toiletten sind alt und riechen streng. Duschen sind ok. Küche ist vorhanden und gut ausgestattet. Hinter den Gebäude kann man gut sitzen, grillen und was trinken. Sehr gemütlich.

"absolut empfehlenswerter CP; extrem frendliche und hilfsbereite Führung - in wenigen Minuten vom CP in der schönen Altstadt; wird von jungen Leuten, freundlich und hilfsbereit geführt; alles ist wirklich sauber und an den Stellplätzen gibt es auch Strom; für die Camper gibt es ausreichend WCs neben den Stellplätzen; zum Duschen und Waschen benützt man die Duschen und Waschbecken im Hostel-Haus (Zugang über Zahlen-Code); trotz guter Gäste-Auslastung kein Lärm oder größerer Stau im Sanitär

"Hostel mit kleinem CP in direkter Citynähe - Eigentlich ist es ein Hostel in einem gut erhaltenen, alten großen Gebäude (Villa/ ehem. Schule?) Das Gebäude liegt etwas zurückgestzt von der Straße. Das Gelaände ist eingezäunt. Auf der Wiese vor dem Haus kann man zelten und auf dem Parkplatz gibt es 5-6 Stellplätze für WoMo. Die Wiese hat alten Baumbestand und es gibt überdachte Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Lage ist super. Es ist in der Umgebung ruhig und man ist trotzdem in 10 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt von Vilnius. Als Camper kann man die Sanitäranlagen im Hostel benutzen, die sich im Gebäude verteilen. Die Duschen / Toiletten sind einfach und erkennbar in Eigenleistung aus dem Baumarkt eingebaut. Trotzdem sind sie ausreichend und vor allem sauber. Es sind immer 2 Duschen in einem Sanitärraum. Die Abtrennungen sind eher dürftig. Der Standard ist eben der eines Hostels. Insgesamt könnten es gerne ein paar Duschen mehr sein. Das Publikum ist durchweg sehr jung. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist entspannt und sehr gemütlich. Man wird sehr freundlich empfangen, bekommt Infos über Vilnius und hat WLan. Wer mag, kann Frühstück ordern. Man kann gemütlich bei einem Glas Wein/Bier den Abend ausklingen lassen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man sollte allerdings unbedingt vorher reservieren, da es wirklich wenige Plätze gibt!!! Das geht auch von Deutschland aus per Mail. Dann muss man eine Übernachtung vorab per Überweisung im voraus bezahlen. Bei uns hat das problemlos geklappt.

Camping within 10 min walk to the city very very center is really something of unbelievable, but it is truth! Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping is located down the hill of the very city center, in the artistic part of …Vilnius called Užupis. Main tourist spots are within a slow-walk distance: city hall (10 min), cathedral (15 min), bus&train station (20 min). Plenty of green areas around: newly opened park (9 min), river and ponds (3 min). And of course the Republic of Užupis just meters away. We call ourselves a forest, because we are located in a big house is surrounded by trees and some extra space for camping. 5 caravan/camper places are located on tarmac, while all with tents can find a spot on the grass. We are passionate about traveling and about our city. Just ask and we will advice you what to see and do!
