Too many WOMOs.Here for the umpteenth time.This was our umpteenth time at this campsite and we actually felt very comfortable again. The cleaning in the sanitary buildings now works wonderfully and the whole day without closing times compared to last year and of course piccobello. A big compliment.
Unfortunately only because there are now more... dogs than children and many (not all) dog owners do not follow the rules. They sometimes drive up, open the door and the dogs immediately do their business on the children's playground or in the bushes of the pitch, regardless of which one.
Then, unfortunately, there's no camping feeling at all, because mostly WOMOs come, stay 1,2,3 nights and then disappear again. Too bad, too bad.

But it's worth it. On 24.12. atmospheric Christmas party with excellent mulled wine and equally delicious pastries. Thank you for that. A lot of positive things have already been written here about the place, and we can confirm everything 100%. Nevertheless,... we would like to emphasize 2 things today: 1. the friendliness of all employees. 2. the mini-market. The assortment (organic/regional) and the friendliness impressed us this time.

The adjoining restaurant is worth one or more visits! - Rainer U.september 2024PozitívneGreat campsite near FüssenNegatívneToo many dogsBeautiful campsiteWe were at the Brunnen campsite for the fifth or sixth time in September and, as always, we were impressed by the great and unique location of the site. unfortunately, and we notice this every year, there are more and more dogs there, which we find unpleasant with their constant barking, which can be... as early as seven o'clock in the morning. we campers without dogs are actually in the minority on this site.
There are dog owners who don't care about the prohibition signs of the campsite operator because they let their pets do their big and small business on the beautiful meadows.you are sitting at the breakfast table in wonderful weather and a dog owner lets his dog pee on the meadow not two meters away.any reaction to this is immediately brusquely and unfriendly shot down with the fact that man/woman probably doesn't like dogs.
Sometimes it's unbelievable what you get to hear.
We personally really miss the typical ringing of cow bells in the meadow next to the campsite, we don't understand why campers have complained about this but simply accept and put up with the constant barking of the dogs.
What a pity.
The sanitary blocks are only as clean as they are left by the guests, to put it bluntly!!!
We have nothing but positive things to say about the campsite staff - this applies to the reception staff as well as the employees of the small shop and the cleaning staff.

The only bad thing was the NON-attachment of all the doors of the campground in the function of the car park and when they were told to leave early... in the morning they were rude. Trovo che le regole sono importanti ma quando ci sono so tante regole e divieti consiglio la gentilezza per farle rispettare. Inoltre trovo sbagliato richiedere così molto silenzio in fondo ci si piazza in un campeggio con altri utenti a pochi metri e se non si vuole essere disturbati non si sceglie questo tipo di soggiorno. Noi amiamo il campeggio proprio per poter socializzare e passare ottime serate in compagni e divertimento. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly man at the barrier. He explained to me where I could find my pitch. The campsite is very clean and beautifully laid out. The same goes for the sanitary facilities, very clean.... The site is located directly on the lake and therefore invites you to do activities on and in the water. The mountains, castles and Füssen town center are also within easy reach. Dogs are welcome on the site, but only two per pitch.

Nevertheless, we still managed to get a pitch in the 2nd-highest category directly on the Forggensee. We were only there for 2 days and only needed a pitch and washrooms. The pitch was large, there would have been room for one more camper. The toilets, showers and sinks were plentiful and in very good condition. We rented e-mountain bikes for one day for €35/day and were able to explore the surrounding area. For longer distances, however, you would probably need padded cycling shorts as the saddles are quite hard.NegatívneIt is advertised that all the drinking water on the campsite is "revitalized", i.e. "Grander water". On the one hand I am somewhat amused, on the other hand I am annoyed by the advertising for a fraudulent company that makes a lot of money with cheap pseudo-scientific "water revitalization systems". The water at the campsite is good, just as it is in the area around Schwangau, which I know very well, without the "Grander water revitalization devices". I am absolutely reluctant to support something like that.Good overall, one star deduction for advertising GranderwasserAll in all very good, the Forggensee is also and especially special when the water is low.
