Great!
Many thanks to Elke and Peter for the friendly welcome, the great food and the nice conversations.
Booking is definitely an advantage as it is a small, beautifully situated and clean campsite.
Our two dogs were also treated warmly and we all felt completely at ease.
Unfortunately we only had a short stay, but we will definitely be back.

- Club restaurant, with delicious cuisine - Super price-performance ratio - Well-kept grounds
Negatívne
- A bit far to walk to the sanis - Patience required to get someone on the line to reserve a seat
Not for spontaneous trips
It is a canoe club that rents out about 10 pitches, which are also very popular, and there is also a tent site. You should book early! The pitches are small and located under trees (nicely shaded), so they are more suitable for small, slim caravans or small caravans. Part of the site is rented out to... permanent campers. The reception is in the club restaurant, which is closed on Mondays. The restaurant offers delicious home-style cooking at a great price-performance ratio. The sanitary facilities are those of the canoe club. The site is located directly on the Main and next to a riding stable, so you can hear the boats and the snorting of the horses. Würzburg is easy to reach by bike or on foot, but the city itself disappointed us a little.

distance sanitary building a little walk At night there is still a lot of noise from nearby bars and restaurants
Beautiful location
We camped here for 1 night during our cycling vacation with our family (incl. children aged 13, 11 and 8). Fine tent site, nice view of Main and Würzburg. Sanitary building is a bit of a walk. We had reservations, but manager shocked us that everything was full and he did not have our reservation on paper.... luckily got spot.

Great place directly on the Main
Great place, very close to the streetcar stop, centrally located near Ciyn. Owner/operator a bit peculiar but nice :-) Unfortunately no electricity for tent guests/tent meadow.

Cleanliness of the WC's in the restaurant and sanitary facilities of the CP Coded entrance door to the sanitary rooms Long way to the sanitary facilities and fresh water
Suitable for Wbg. short visits
We were on the site from 04 - 05.06.2015 to view Wbg. The place is OK for that - maybe 2 or 3 nights - longer def. not. The place is either not or insufficiently signposted - you quickly drive in the wrong direction and then have to reverse with the trailer back again. Registration is in a small restaurant... before you get to the site. The groundsman is very friendly, as is the service in the restaurant. However, once you have visited the toilets, you won't be eating here again. There is a clear need for action in terms of cleanliness. The toilets and shower rooms are on the ground floor of the restaurant and sometimes make a dusty impression. Here, too, points are clearly deducted. Access to the sanitary facilities - which are also completely overloaded at times - is only granted if you enter the combination via a code lock - you shouldn't be in a hurry here because of the long distance. The only fresh water point is near the sanitary facilities. The site as such is simply great for Wbg. explorers with bikes. There is also no real noise. But that's about it. As I said, proximity to the city is great. Payment is made in advance for the time booked. I can't yet say whether we will go to this site again.

Connection to public transport. Good value for money. Toilet facilities are newly renovated.

Distance to the toilet approx. 100-150m. Possible odor nuisance due to adjacent horse stable
A spontaneous stop in Würzburg on the way through
Two of us stayed at the campsite for one night with a camper van. We paid €16 for the overnight stay including electricity, toilet, shower and waste disposal. Despite the day of rest (Monday), we were warmly welcomed by the groundsman. After a brief introduction to the site, we were given a city map... and tips on how to get around by public transport. There is a streetcar stop directly behind the clubhouse and a day ticket for €4.75 per person or a family ticket for €9.50 allows you to reach the city center quickly and easily. As it is a small campsite, it is advisable to register and reserve in advance.

little comfort, max. 3 nights
Centrally located in Würzburg.
The absolute positive thing about the place is the proximity to the city, reachable by bike and streetcar. Otherwise everything is very simple but friendly. Be sure to book in advance as there are only 6 pitches.

Once and NEVER again. The CP is located directly on the Main and very close to the city center, which of course also affects the noise level. Opposite is a beach bar which, as you can imagine, is not exactly quiet. But the sanitary facilities were an INCREDIBILITY. The washbasin, toilet and shower facilities... are very old. The partitions in the toilet are slowly disintegrating. The sinks only cold water and very calcified. The showers belong on the garbage everything calcified the water runs off very slowly and you think it is a changing shower because about every 20 sec. Cold water comes. The whole facility makes a run-down impression. It has NEVER been cleaned in that time. NEVER AGAIN.

Very simple pitch with old sanitary facilities. About 1.5 km to the city center on foot. Ideal for visiting Würzburg or for canoeists.
