The site is beautifully laid out and quiet (for which we would certainly have awarded 4 stars)... the vacation homes are a bit outdated in places. There were deductions because we had to pay 360 pln zloty (instead of 180 pln) after 5 hours drive with motorhome on June 14, 2025 (in the evening), because supposedly there was a game festival in town and therefore "everyone is charging higher costs". The crowning glory was the restaurant (open until 10pm): We wanted to have dinner there at 8 p.m.: when we asked several times, we were finally told unkindly that we could only have a drink. If we had known this beforehand, we would have gone straight back to the great old town, where there are countless great restaurants. A real shame in this beautiful city!

Unfriendly staff, not clean
Ok for 1 night
It is ok for 1 night, but not for more. Pitches are small, sanitary buildings not clean. It was also quite noisy at the evening. At the gates of the camping site was a cafe, but the staff of the site had no information about the possibility to eat there. Staff was not interested in the clients, unfriendly

Expensive and slightly unkempt
Pros: The location - the streetcar is about 1 km away and takes you to the city center in about 10 minutes. The site is also quite quiet - which can be different when sports competitions are taking place: The square is part of a large sports facility where rowing regattas are held. This can sometimes... lead to heavy traffic and blocked access roads. Cons: Definitely the price: during the week we paid considerably more for a small caravan + car than at hotspots such as Lake Constance. The pitches are also unfavorably laid out: We only got the caravan onto the pitch with various maneuvers, and it was not an advantage that our pitch had a significant slope. Electricity is available at the pitches, but there are not enough sockets for everyone (luckily we were self-sufficient). The sanitary facilities look nice, but are not particularly well maintained and we have seen them cleaner. The same applies to the campsite restaurant.

We had a very unfriendly employee at the reception; weak WLAN
for a city campsite neat
parceled pitches, partly with shade; during the day a small diesel train passes the CP (9-18 clock every 30 minutes line thermal bath - zoo); we did not find it disturbing and the conductor was always happy when we waved to him; at night is absolute silence; sanitary building well clean and technically... o.k., even always with good hot water, but the showers still had curtains; we were the only guests in the CP restaurant; food was relatively good, but "clear" (see photos); the waiter was very friendly, translated the whole menu into German; the CP cafe would have been nice, but is closed at the most important times; WLAN was very weak on the pitches; in Poznan the town hall square was stunningly beautiful, but the rest of the city is all modern and unfortunately not worth seeing

We were there for one night, very friendly welcome. However, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities left a lot to be desired. Okay for one/two nights...

The railroad disturbs
Location close to the city on Lake Malta, ok for a short stay
An approx. 5 meter high sign in stainless steel design on the road indicates Camping Malta and Hotel, as well as the 2 security men at the barrier suggested a certain exclusivity of the place, but this impression was wrong. The check-in in English was uncomplicated, the pitches were parceled out and... well-kept, mostly separated by hedges. The sanitary building is simple, the visual defects are simply ignored and then it is ok for a few days stay, during our presence the hygiene was ok with about 80% occupancy of the place. However, when opening the door to the disposal station of the chemical toilet, a feeling of disgust arose briefly. The site is located directly on a great artificial lake with a sports park, thermal baths/leisure pool and zoo, a small train runs past loudly every 15 - 30 minutes at full capacity (weekends). The city center is easy to reach by bike, center about 4 km. There are no shopping facilities on the site, bread rolls can be ordered in the restaurant.

CP in the southeast of the city in a kind of cultural and sports park
The CP Malta is a small CP with a few pitches and more cabins and vacation rooms in a kind of cultural and sports park. The pitches are bordered with plants and hedges. Water is only available in the sanitary and kitchen area. The staff are friendly and also speak English. The food in the restaurant... was good, but the waiter was only seen after 20:00h to collect money. You can't have breakfast in the restaurant. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. A pioneer railroad runs past the CP. There is no information material about the region at the reception. There is no store for camping supplies, food and no bread roll service.
