The campground is lovingly landscaped with many flowering plants and is very well maintained.
The restrooms were always clean, and there are even three shower stalls with sinks....
The restaurant serves delicious meals, and fresh rolls are available every morning.
The free Wi-Fi has a strong signal.
Since there’s no lunch break, you can arrive at the campground at any time, which makes planning much easier.
The bus stop for the Old Town is a 5-minute walk away. The bus runs every 10 minutes.

The site is situated on a hill and is laid out in terraces. The pitches are only indicated from tree to tree and are a little too small, especially as 2 motorhomes sometimes share a pitch. In my opinion, it is not a typical vacation site, but... more of an overnight stop for sightseeing. Beautiful cycle paths to and around Salzburg are easy to reach by bike. You can also reach the outskirts of Salzburg on foot in no time. In late spring some nuts fall from the trees and of course also on the caravan roofs, which is disturbing at night. There is a very good restaurant right on site. We were allocated a pitch that was not too big but just right for our needs and when we had settled in and leaned back we felt it even more intensely - this pleasant... atmosphere, this peace and quiet that radiated from the pitch decorated with lots of flowers and also the friendliness shown to us by the owners made us feel as if we had finally arrived.
After our two-week round trip, which took us to five campsites, this was the last and by far the most pleasant campsite on our route.

Unfortunately, damage is not repaired (some mixer taps very stiff, mold stains in the showers, no disinfectant, no garbage can in the sink area). The older gentleman is very friendly, gives tips on bus connections... and restaurants and also helps with finding a parking space and instructions. Negative the younger gentleman asks you to change pitch after several days, doubts that the pitch was agreed with the older gentleman and all this in a rude tone. Identity card must be handed in as a deposit (legally not allowed!), only cash payment no invoice.
Bus connection to the city with line 3 for € 3.00 per person, from the bus stop about 150 mtr to Lidl. Railings on the stairs between the terraces dilapidated. But I have to agree with some of the previous reviewers: you really are greeted in an unfriendly manner and unfortunately don't feel welcome straight away. Not good hospitality!... Only cash payment is possible or - and this is madness - you leave your ID card as a deposit. It is not permitted to take your ID card!
Yes, the places are tight and it gets fuller in the afternoon (transit). A lot is tried but the tone here is unbelievable. What a pity. If the operators would parcel out the pitches and just have a nice word to say. The water connection was faulty, about an hour later the problem was solved and I had water, waste water and electricity.
You can... manage with 6A electricity, I had a hot water boiler and an electric barbecue and it was fine.
Junior helped me out with mustard (free of charge) and advised me not to go into town by car to the Paracelsusbad, but rather by bus -> great recommendation.
Cycle paths pass just below, you can go for a walk and also walk the dog if you have one.
The city center can be reached quickly by public transport, a Liedl can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
You can also get small items at the guest house at reception.
The sometimes poor reviews regarding friendliness, cleanliness etc. are incomprehensible to me personally. Small restaurant with tasty food,... sandwiches, drinks and souvenirs, postcards etc. Bus stop to the city downhill about 1000 meters, back uphill! Small cozy café/bakery on the right, bus stop on the left. There is a large playground on the footpath and cycle path to the bus stop. It was a shame that the restaurant kitchen was closed for seasonal reasons. We were totally parked in, so the parking space was quite small. There is no children's playground. In the restaurant the price-performance ratio is not right, as the portions are extremely small for the price. only the view is beautiful. The walk to the bus only takes 5 minutes if you are quick.
