- 5.0GFGerhard F.september 20265.0GFGerhard F.september 2026Pozitívnepretty much everythingNegatívneI don't know anygreat placeSince I have limited mobility and absolutely need a place to sit in the shower to get dressed and undressed...this need is fully met here...a movable seat...brilliant
I also love how spacious it is...plenty of room in the shower
Maybe a small suggestion for the campground operators... I’d install a shower... gel dispenser, just to be safe... Everyone usually brings their own gel, but sometimes it gets forgotten.
All in all... a great spot... highly recommendedAutomaticky preložené. - 5.0
Sabrina H.august 20265.0Sabrina H.august 2026PozitívneIt's a very clean place. The restrooms are really great—modern and clean. The lake is right next door, and you can swim anywhere. The staff is super friendly. Dogs are allowed and must be kept on a leash at all times. They are not allowed inside the restrooms.NegatívneSince the hospital is right next door, helicopters fly over the square every now and then, but that's kind of interesting, too 😊very satisfiedJust a great place—highly recommended.
There's plenty to do: hiking, swimming, biking, and much more. There are too many stray dogs on the grounds, swimming in the lake or running around freely. Dog owners are completely unreasonable, even when their dogs are running loose in the restroom area and scaring people—even children who have... cried because a stray suddenly appeared right in front of them. The fact that they poop and pee everywhere is, of course, also unacceptable; the worst are the owners who, when they pick up the poop, throw the bags into the bushes.
There’s nothing better than a dog-free campground, and the one in Zell am See is miles away from that.
The staff at the Rezo should also work on being a bit friendlier!!
Plus, it’s very noisy because of the adjacent road. The value for money is also on the higher end—you’re paying for the location.
One positive is its proximity to the lake (but that’s about it).
In any case, we won’t be going back there because the negative impressions outweigh the positives. The restroom facilities are completely inadequate for the size of the campground. With only two showers and three toilets, there are... long lines. A bench for people waiting is desperately needed here. The other restroom facility has five mixed-use showers—and there, too, you’ll have to wait. On top of that, cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired as the day goes on.
Unfortunately, we also found the staff to be rather unfriendly—both at the bread counter and at the front desk, we felt more tolerated than welcome.
On top of that, the prices in the shop, restaurant, and for the campsite are completely exorbitant. In our opinion, the beautiful location on Lake Zell does not justify these prices. - 4.0WBWolfgang B.júl 20264.0WBWolfgang B.júl 2026Pozitívne- Great location right on the lake - Zell is easily accessible via a beautiful scenic trail right along the lake - Restroom facilities are great—modern and clean - The campsites are spacious and comfortable - Great restaurant right on the lakeNegatívne- The rear sites are located directly in front of a through street separated by a noise barrier that is too low. With the exception of the period from approximately 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there is always traffic noise. - The front sites are located directly behind the public bike and walking path right by the lake. There’s almost always something going on there, too. People are constantly walking past the campsite. - A table reservation at the restaurant is absolutely necessaryGreat location with a few minor drawbacksA very nice campground right on the lake, just over 2 km from Zell.
It’s a great spot, though the hustle and bustle takes away from the experience a bit. The road behind the campsites was a definite downside for us.
That said, we highly recommend this lovely campground without reservation. - 5.0

Die alten H.marec 20254.0Die alten H.marec 2025PozitívneThe location on the lake and the great view of the snow-covered mountains. On foot in about 40 minutes in Zell am See, 10-15 minutes by bike. The sanitary facilities are top, but are also completely new and were always very clean during our vacation, thanks to the staff 👍 The groundsman is very friendly👍 The restaurant is also highly recommended, the food is very good👍, the staff are quick and friendly, the food arrived very quickly despite it being lunchtime and the restaurant being full, TOPP 👍NegatívneThe smile at reception unfortunately doesn't reach your eyes 👀, the communication leaves a lot to be desired, which is a shame and would have helped the whole thing to perfection 😊. But that's just a small point of criticismEverything NEW after the fireWe were at the site for four days at the end of March 2025, with great weather - blue skies and sunshine ☀️. There were only about 4-6 campers on site, which was very relaxed.
The costs:
€43,- /day (offer 4 nights for 3).
Our small dog €9.10/day, which we found completely excessive!!!
Electricity extra... €1.10/KW......
Tourist tax extra on top!
We were last on the site in 2017, since 2017 there are much fewer permanent campers on the site than then. The railroad line can be heard across the lake at times, as can the road behind the site.
Gravel surface very level, few trees. New gray water drain and very easy to reach. The pitches are nice and large, our Womo is 7.5 meters long and all pitches are really easy to access.
The central building with the reception, the restaurant and the sanitary facilities has a new architectural design. A second new sanitary building is also available, but was still locked!
Our conclusion: beautiful site, everything new, everyone has to decide for themselves about the pricing, otherwise very good.Automaticky preložené.Odpoveď od Seecamp Zell am See 27. marec 2025Dear old H., thank you very much for your detailed and valuable feedback! We are delighted that you were able to enjoy the fantastic location, the new sanitary facilities, our restaurant and the friendly team.
Your comment about reception is an important incentive for us to further optimize our service... - thank you very much for your honest feedback!
With regard to the costs, we would like to point out that you have already benefited from a particularly favorable price with our "stay 4 nights, pay only 3 nights" offer. All other charges, such as electricity and visitor's tax, are standard for the industry and are listed transparently in our price list. The dog flat rate covers, among other things, the additional cleaning measures, but we understand that price perceptions can vary from person to person.
We look forward to welcoming you again soon - perhaps again with one of our attractive offers!
