A laid-back groundskeeper, a river right in front of you, plenty of recreational opportunities

There are neighbors everywhere who value their personal freedom above all else. When you're camping, that can be even more annoying than at home.
A place with nothing
A simple campground with no frills.
Campfires are allowed everywhere (some people love this, while others are bothered by the smoke).
Bread roll delivery service (some people love this—others are bothered by the loudspeaker “advertisement” at 7:30 a.m.).
Pitch boundaries aren’t always easy to spot—which... can lead to surprises when you come home from a hike.

BUT: super friendly and helpful campground attendant!!!

There’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area.

However, you should be aware that the area is sparsely populated—with all that entails.

Disturbance of the peace, no groundsman after 8 pm.
Location is great
Unfortunately, the fellow campers from the neighboring countries to the east spoil your stay: noise from drunks until the early hours of the morning, cars driving back and forth at night. Nobody keeps to the quiet times here.

The showers were not heated hot water did not really come out of the tap even after 10 minutes. The place is quite small and is located opposite a main road (other side of the river) and the place is like a hose everyone who wants to get in or out has to pass the pitch.......

The Salza is great!
The rest: well.... Rest: none - hard-drinking Eastern Bloc residents prevent any rest perfectly - until 4am. There is no supervision. Children play in and around the toilets - very unpleasant and disturbing. On arrival despite reservation: no instruction, you can stand wherever you want... All in all: the operators rely on the "Salza" to sort it out, otherwise the law of the jungle applies. Thank you, never again.

Ideal for kayakers
This is the right place for kayakers. We didn't go kayaking here as a family, there are plenty of excursion destinations, but there's nothing more for the children on the site itself. You don't need an alarm clock because everyone is awake anyway when the bread roll car arrives early. The sanitary facilities were not heated so it was very cold to take a shower.

Have been there twice, it's just wonderful and relaxing. Quite quiet, very clean. Friendly groundsman, lots of opportunities for hiking, but especially ideal for kayakers.
