Uwe M.júl 20235.0Uwe M.júl 2023Pozitívnevery nice reception, nice choice of pitches, clean sanitary facilitiesNegatívneDeparture only from 9amnice quiet placeThe square is divided into two halves. I was on part 2 and so my descriptions also refer to this.
The square has a large number of old trees and therefore plenty of shade. However, there are also some areas where the sun shines. Depending on the location, satellite reception is also possible.
The sanitary... facilities are a bit outdated, but clean and well maintained.
The pitches are not exactly separated, so you can position yourself as you like, which I find quite positive. There is grass everywhere. Depending on the pitch, it is very level, but on others you have to put a wedge underneath to get the vehicle level. The permanent campers and tourist pitches are nicely mixed, so there are no dividing lines here. The staff present when we were there were very friendly.
There is a small swimming pool at the registration desk.
There are only very limited shopping facilities on site, so you have to drive a bit to go shopping. There are lots of hiking trails in the area and the Edertalsperre dam is nearby, where water sports are possible.
We really liked the place and will definitely be back.
A word about the criticism regarding the rejection of Sinti in Roma: even if it is not politically correct, this decision is perfectly understandable. If these groups behaved accordingly, they would be welcome in this and many other places. Unfortunately, many of them spoil the reputation and encourage rejection. Yes, there are others who behave badly.Automaticky preložené.1 kempista považoval toto hodnotenie za užitočné. - 5.0SKStephanie K.júl 20225.0SKStephanie K.júl 2022PozitívneVery very clean sanitary facilities, nice and friendly welcome. - 5.0IJIsabelle J.august 20215.0IJIsabelle J.august 2021PozitívneClose to the forest, quiet location, friendly, ideal for families and dog owners and friendsNegatívneThere were none for us.A very successful family vacationWe had a wonderful time during our one-week vacation at the Waldcamping Bad Zwesten. With our 4 children (aged 12-19) and our dog, we felt at home right from the start. We were given a very friendly and warm welcome and we particularly liked the proximity of the forest, the peace and quiet, the airy... and spacious layout of the site and the sports facilities (such as the pool, table tennis and soccer pitch). Due to the high water level, we were able to launch our canoes directly at the campsite and set off on a few smaller canoe trips. We visited the small, pretty spa town of Bad Zwesten several times on foot for shopping, ice cream and pizza. A quiet and friendly atmosphere welcomed us here too. We spent our first vacation at the Bad Zwesten forest campsite and are already looking forward to the next time!Automaticky preložené.1 kempista považoval toto hodnotenie za užitočné.

Otherwise none.Beautiful, quiet CP with large pitchesWe (2 seniors) were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the reception, the cleaning lady and also the supervisor of the garbage station. Unfortunately you don't find this everywhere. There are shady spots on one part of the site, sunny spots on part 2. - 1.0MWManja W.august 20211.0MWManja W.august 2021PozitívneEthnically appealingNegatívneThat children had to experience a racist expulsionExclusion by association decreeA really nice campsite with the current offer that your own children can camp for free. Just not for everyone! The statutes of the association-run campsite exclude Sinti and Roma. A nice German family with three children had to leave the campsite because of this. Because they are a Sinti family. If you like it "ethnic" and tolerate the unlawful exclusion of people, you've come to the right placeAutomaticky preložené.Zatiaľ žiadni kempisti nepovažovali toto hodnotenie za užitočné. Buďte prvý!

Gerd K.september 20194.0Gerd K.september 2019PozitívneThe friendliness and the peace and quiet.NegatívneWe haven't found any for ourselves.A great simple clean campsiteWe - 2 sprightly senior citizens - stayed at the campsite for 2 nights at the beginning of September. We came from Passau and were on our way home. We found the site on the way using Camping.info. Checking in was extremely pleasant. Our camping colleagues from CCKassel, who run the campsite, were incredibly... friendly and competent. Finding a pitch and making connections was no problem - someone was always there. You could tell you were among campers here. The sanitary facilities were a little older, but clean and functional. The shower cubicle was a bit small. The site is incredibly quiet. No road noise and even the permanent campers - otherwise often a problem - were very pleasant. Very nice location to Bad Zwesten - 5 minutes by bike. Bad Wildungen and Fritzlar are also not far away and can be reached by bike. Checking out was just as pleasant as checking in. Everything was very calm and friendly. Sven W.september 20185.0Sven W.september 2018PozitívnePeace, nature, excursions, nice people, free WLAN, huge pitchesNegatívneno supply / bakery or similar.Insider tip, little idyll for relaxing! The campsite is located approx. 1 - 1.5 km from Bad Zwesten on the edge of the forest. Well connected to the highway and yet remote, large access roads, paved paths. Bad Wildungen, Kassel, the Edersee, all easily accessible by car. We came across the site by chance and spent several weekends there this... summer. The tranquillity and relaxation of the site cannot be compared with any of our previous sites. The pitches are huge, certainly 120 square meters. Electricity on the pitch, water and waste water roughly 50m maximum. The site is run by the permanent campers. Friendly people, someone is always there, everything is clean, someone checks on you from time to time. Everyone is available in an emergency. You can see that it's their oasis, really well maintained, old but well-kept sanitary facilities, always clean. Showers a bit tiny, no real storage space for your clothes. But clean. There is no store, the nearest bakery is a 30-minute walk away. There is a restaurant on site, which is okay. Visually not the best, but the food is amazing. We have probably found our favorite place here. And, as I said, purely by chanceAutomaticky preložené.1 kempista považoval toto hodnotenie za užitočné. - 5.0FMFamilie M.máj 20185.0FMFamilie M.máj 2018Pozitívnequiet, great locationNegatívneBakery 3 km awayGreat campsiteCampsite run by permanent campers, club members are friendly and helpful.
