The staff at the snack bar are very inflexible and unfriendly, which we found really disappointing and led us to decide not to go there anymore. Maybe they could post a sign by the restrooms indicating when they’ll be closed for cleaning, so people don’t walk there for nothing. 😅 The beach was nicely set up so you could swim comfortably in the lake, but the sand is very rocky.

Everything: Scenery was perfect, campground layout (large but not crowded or cluttered), activities at the campground and in neighboring towns, the lake was a dream and the hygiene 12 out of 10

- the lake is unfortunately not suitable for non-swimmers due to the low water level, as it goes down very steeply - long distances to the toilets, especially for campers down by the lake - paths are sometimes difficult to find, especially at night - sometimes you end up in someone's "front garden" unexpectedly - in some places the tents are very close together - there are almost no shelters to sit in, so you have to take a table and chairs with you

The campsite is in a very quiet and idyllic location. Directly on the lake it offers many leisure activities, such as rowing, pedal boating, diving, swimming or cycling. rent. There is a large campfire site and a smoke oven, which are integrated into various events. In addition to daily fresh bread rolls, there is also a shop that offers everything you need. Including friendly service. The highlight is the restaurant. You can literally see how much fun the owners have doing what they do. They put their heart and soul into every detail, not least the freshly prepared dishes. We tried everything and it was absolutely delicious and sufficient. The menu is clearly laid out but still offers enough variety. The restaurant's adjoining snack bar offers tasty snacks during the day. There is the right accommodation for every type of camper. Be it with a camper van, a tent, in cute 2-man barrels In romantic pods for up to 3 people or in a wide variety of bungalows. You can really switch off here. We have already spent the night in a barrel, which was the perfect alternative to a tent, and most recently in a pod with a small terrace and its own bathroom. We slept better than we have for a long time. The mattresses are super comfortable. Even the bedding was carefully selected for quality. (Pillows with feather filling, fantastic). In short. It was an absolutely recommendable vacation. Many thanks again at this point to the Döhring family and their hard-working staff, who mastered this overall package with all the logistical challenges. We were welcomed and looked after in an extremely friendly manner. There was always an open ear and a quick solution for every request. It doesn't get any better than that. I can't stop raving about it. :) We would love to come back.

Very quiet, great place. We were right in the forest. Great lake for swimming with very clean water, separate bathing areas for the dogs. Everything was very clean and well-kept. Small store with all the essentials and small restaurant, some with game dishes. Own diving school, canoe rental. Great hiking and cycling.

If someone urgently needs WiFi, the bandwidth is not enough. With a large mobile data volume, however, everything works, cell phone reception is sufficient. The space is very large, so think about a bike if necessary. If you are cycling with children, you should bear in mind that the area is very hilly and you may have to push.

A very well-kept and well-structured campsite. Very child-friendly, catering guaranteed, also suitable for grandparents.

If possible, a changing mat and children's washbasin should also be installed in the men's sanitary facilities.
