- Very nice location with a view of the Aetna volcano - Super restaurant with delicious pizza etc. - Electric charging station at the reception - Friendly staff

- clean, but old toilet facilities (cleanliness is important important, age doesn't bother me!) - bumpy roads to get to the campsite (it's not the campsite's fault the campsite can't help it, but still worth mentioning)
Beautiful view of Mount Etna, great pizza.
We are here for the 2nd time after 16 years, remembered this campsite well and had to go there straight away. The direct view over the campsite to the smoking volcano is special (if it smokes: not in 2015, this year it does).
The toilet facilities should be renovated. They were always clean, but still!...
Unfortunately, the charging station was blocked every evening by parked cars; I had to go to the reception and ask the person with the wrongly parked car to move their car. The price of electricity is too high: at home I only pay a third of it.
We travel with the caravan four months a year and for me the Mokambo campsite in Sicily is one of my 5 most special campsites, which I remember fondly.

The small restaurant was great. Bruschetta and pasta were 1 A. A big compliment to Bruno and his wife.
Price and service were absolutely right.

Pitches are under trees, tall palm trees or on open grass. Toilets and showers are old, but always very clean. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Restaurant open daily, good food, very tasty pizza. The unobstructed view of Mount Etna is breathtaking.

Very nice campsite with a great view of Mount Etna ... We were also lucky enough to see the red-hot lava running down the mountainside at night ...
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and despite the low season, the restaurant was open every day.
You can book a guided jeep tour up to Mount Etna from the campsite ...
