- Karsten Uwe H.May 2024ПоложительныеThe location is great!ОтрицательныеWhen cruise ships dock, everyone runs across the campsite and takes pictures of their ship, nasty!Camping with a cruise ship!I would not recommend it as the cruisers always find a way to use the sanitary facilities!Перевод автоматический.
- Klaus_OHZ N.July 2018ПоложительныеThe unique locationОтрицательныеOvercrowded, poor or no cleaning of the sanitary facilities.Totally overcrowded place in summer, for us the last time.Cashing in, the owner doesn't care about the rest. The place is totally overcrowded. Distances of less than one meter. See where you can find space. We won't be coming here again. The sanitary building was unclean. It was bursting at the seams. No staff for so many campers.Перевод автоматический.
- sascha D.September 2017ПоложительныеLocationDreamlike even at nightBy ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger. We stayed here for one night and continued directly over the Trollstigen in the morning. The campsite is right on the water, with its own kiosk.Перевод автоматический.
- Patrick G.August 2017Положительные- LocationОтрицательные- Shortage of sanitary facilities - Power connections for pitches in short supplyGreat locationThe site is in a great location, right in Geiranger with a view of the cruise ships. Various excursions are possible from here, such as the Trollstigen or Gamle Strynsfjellvegen. The campsite makes a nice impression, the pitches are generally good, but in the evenings you have to fight for enough power... sockets, which are a bit scarce. The same goes for the showers, where there are sometimes waiting times. Nevertheless, the sanitary facilities and the site were clean. OK for children, a little more difficult for walking the dog.Перевод автоматический.
- Andreas F.July 2017ПоложительныеGigantic landscape, great experienceОтрицательныеThe journey ;-)Geiranger, a mustA beautiful campsite on the fjord, gigantic to see how the cruise ships turn in here. A must for a trip to Norway !!! Everything very clean, everything availableПеревод автоматический.
- Wolfgang P.July 2015Nice location, everything else goes so...There's no denying that the location at the end of the fjord, right down by the water, where the big cruise ships turn and drop anchor, is sen-sa-tio-nell! Otherwise there seems to be a constant coming and going here, at least in the front part where we were standing. The sanitary building is a modular... system and looks more like a 40-foot container from the inside. The number of toilets and washing facilities is too few for such a large site. But it is kept clean. In short: the campsite is a good place to marvel at the surrounding area with your mouth open. I wouldn't have wanted to spend a longer vacation there.Перевод автоматический.
- Thorsten B.August 2014ПоложительныеPerfect location, especially if you get a place in the first row.ОтрицательныеNot parceled out, simple plot.Positively surprised, good place in an unbeatable locationOverall a good site in an excellent location, and quiet too. Sanitary facilities were modern and clean. The pitch itself is not parceled out, gravel or grass surface.Перевод автоматический.
- Reinhard B.June 2014ПоложительныеIts location and the transfer to the townОтрицательныеYou have to be a good walkerThe GeirangerfjordDue to its location it is almost a must, but not only the place but also the surroundings. You can go on boat trips (price not for small budgets), fishing and the various viewpoints, e.g. the Dalsnippa.Перевод автоматический.
- Jürgen K.June 2013If you're lucky enough to be able to park your camper in the first row by the fjord, you've done everything right so far. Everything is clean, everything is fine, everything is friendly and so on. And all at an acceptable price. We award full marks here.Перевод автоматический.
- Günther M.June 2012nice place directly at the Geiranger Fjord; sanitary facilities clean; friendly staff; place is divided in two by a square; at the end of the river a small island with a mooring bollard for the cruise ships; we had 5 (!) cruisers with nominally 8,000 passengers in the fjord on one day, but you didn't notice them; the place is just 200 m away; WLAN for a fee; showers 10 kr; worth the ferry ride to Hellesylt and back.Перевод автоматический.
- Simone W.September 2010Our first campsite in Norway with a great location right on the fjord. Here we were able to watch a Hurtigruten ship dock in the fjord one day and the Costa Deliziosa the next. That is quite an experience. The site itself is divided into two parts with a sanitary building. Two ladies' toilets were open,... which was probably due to the low season. The site is clean and the staff at reception are friendly. We stayed here for two days because of the beautiful location, despite the rain.Перевод автоматический.
- Peter W.June 2010The Geiranger Fjord is one of the most beautiful and probably the most famous fjord in Norway. That's why it's also the number one destination for cruise ships. We were lucky that the Aida had docked right outside our caravan door in the morning. The site itself is a large grassy area at the far end... of the fjord and is divided in two by a river. There are some pitches right by the water with wonderful views. We were there at the end of June and there were still plenty of free pitches. Of course, those who arrive early have the best choice. The site is not parceled out, but the paths keep it tidy. The two sanitary buildings are a few years old but are still clean and acceptable. There is a charge for showers (10 crowns). However, hot water is available for washing hands and dishes. There is a small supply store (= reception) on the campsite. Bread rolls are also available here. However, the local supermarket is only a few steps away. The campsite is an ideal starting point for further tours (whether on foot, by car, boat or bicycle). Perhaps only suitable to a limited extent by bike. As there are relatively quick inclines. You can go on many beautiful hiking tours. Getting here with a "normal" caravan is no problem. You just need to be able to maneuver and not be afraid of winding roads. With larger caravans, however, this could be too critical, as there is a lot of oncoming traffic (especially popular buses) on the narrow roads. You can hire kayaks at the site, which you should definitely do to explore the waterfalls at close quarters. I didn't find the traffic from the day cruise tourists to be negative. Most of them are taken straight onto the buses anyway or use the small "shopping promenade". I can't confirm that Geiranger is now much more expensive than anywhere else in Norway. The prices are not much different (unfortunately at a very high level). The prices are perhaps slightly above the average standard, but you are not forced to use electricity and can therefore save a little.Перевод автоматический.
