In the rugged nature of the high mountains of the French Alps, in the Rhône-Alpes region, lies Camping Sites & Paysages à la Rencontre du Soleil (in short: A la Rencontre du Soleil). You will be camping here at the …foot of the Alpe d'Huez, which is well known from the Tour de France. The area is an excellent destination for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, cyclists and mountain walkers. The well-kept grounds, with their many flowers, create a cheerful impression and offer large lawns. A small river flows through the grounds, where you can cool your feet. Tall hedges, shrubs and large deciduous and coniferous trees provide plenty of shade and privacy in most places. For sports and outdoor enthusiasts, the Rencontre du Soleil campsite in the Alps offers a multisport field that is accessible from May to September. (Open from 10:00 am until dusk). You can play football, tennis, basketball and much more on this field. Let your children explore and let off steam in our incredible play area, designed with their happiness and safety in mind. With swings, spring games, a suspension bridge, two slides and stimulating play structures, your little explorers will be full of joy and laughter. Every day, they will experience moments of fulfilment, discovery and fun in this colourful and safe space. The water area has a heated swimming pool with a retractable roof that opens and closes depending on the season and weather conditions, making room for an outdoor pool when the weather is nice. Our mini-market offers a variety of basic necessities tailored to your needs. Discover a wide range of delicious dishes in the restaurant, all prepared with fresh, high-quality products.
