"A beautiful spot right on the lake - We had a few very nice and relaxing days there. We'll definitely come back to this place.

"Underground - Unbelievable behavior from the owner. On the day of arrival we couldn't leave and tried to call countless times. This was impossible as there was no answering machine and no one picked up. Then in the evening we received an email saying it was a total loss! Elsa, the lady of the house, sent us an incredibly impertinent message accusing me of having stood her up for the second time, saying she would never accept a booking again and that she had "given away" the place we had booked months in advance. WHAT??? To do this to a family about to go on their annual vacation is absolutely inhumane. Even the first time I couldn't get in with my children because of triple the journey time (bad weather and endless traffic jams) although she lives upstairs and I let her know in good time! Since then, we have met many people who have had similar experiences with her. This act was so unbelievably mean and unscrupulous that she should be stopped. Further steps will follow .....

"Expensive space in a good location - The campsite has a wonderful location right on the lake, but you have to book the pitches in the front row well in advance, otherwise you'll be a long way back. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but there should be a few more toilets. The owner is nice and helpful. However, the price is quite steep, over 50 euros in the off-season for 2 people for a pitch at the back. The pitches are all very cramped, the place is more like a pitch than a campsite. The town of Iseo is great, very cozy for strolling and eating out, you can reach it in 10 minutes on foot.

"Great platy - Very nice, small campsite with friendly staff. Super nice welcome in perfect German Although the campsite is small, we found it very cozy and the view from our own (stone) beach is fantastic. A lovingly maintained site. The family who run the campsite are extremely friendly and helpful. The boss/owner is really very helpful and nice and helped us park our car. The campsite is very clean and family-friendly, Wi-Fi is free and sufficiently fast. The site has a well-kept lawn and garden, is a park, very clean sanitary building. The campsite is a little outside of Iseo. By bike 5 min, on foot 10 min. Highly recommended!

"Expensive, well-kept complex with a great view and little infrastructure, - A business-like reception, no information material or even a price list was handed over. We were allocated a pitch and the position of our mobile home was precisely determined by an employee who was present. The park-like grounds are really beautiful and there was almost always a member of the operator's family doing some form of maintenance while we were there. Parceled pitches in different sizes and price ranges, a small pebbly beach and a great view of a gigantic panorama when the view is clear. The sanitary facilities have obviously been renovated, most of the fittings (except the shower) and washbasins are as good as new, painted walls and slatted doors, which however only guarantee limited privacy, create a friendly atmosphere. Of the 4 toilets for men and women, 2 are squat/standing toilets and there is no paper in any of the toilets, not even a place to put your own toilet paper. The 3 urinals for the men were out of order, all showers have no dressing aid in any form, e.g. stool or shelf, but a broom !!!! (no joke) The sanitary facilities are VIDEO MONITORED and this is pointed out, which is not acceptable for us. There is a table tennis table, we did not discover any other play facilities for e.g. children, further infrastructure is limited or non-existent, e.g. no supply and disposal station for mobile homes (service water must be disposed of in gullies on the footpath/driveway), no fresh water taps etc. The campsite is completely unsuitable for families, couples of advanced age and pensioners are more the clientele, during our stay there were obviously many German regular guests on site. On departure, the site must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. It was unusual for us to have to set an alarm clock before continuing our journey. Our conclusion: the camper pays a lot of money for a well-kept pitch, a great view and the proximity to a beautiful place, but that was it, we didn't feel comfortable here at all and made 2 of the planned 4 nights. Oh yes, the price: outrageous for low season and the offer.

Camping Iseo is a tiny paradise nestling on the shores of the clear waters of Lake Iseo, on the foothills of the lower Lombard Alps and just a short distance from the historic centre of Iseo Town. A small campsite …with a family atmosphere which the Zatti family founded as long ago as 1950 on the old sports grounds of Iseo. Managed originally by grandfather Guiseppe and from 1962 flanked by his young son; Battista. From 1970 Battista together with his wife managed the site, in 1978 taking ownership and re-building in 1992. Actually Camping Iseo is now managed by Battista Zatti with the help of his son and daughter; Giancarlo and Elsa, with lots of passion and love, always striving to satisfy the needs of all of our clients, as a part of the family. The campsite was completely renovated in 1992. Designed by the proprietor; Battista Zatti with innovative ideas based on his previous technical experience combined with experience of managing the campsite. He wanted to realise a dream of designing a structure with new technologies that is practical, modern and avant- garde but still in-keeping with the historical style of Iseo. The building was created with reclaimed local stone on the exterior and interior. It also boasts an underground car-park with video surveillance for the sole use of clients. The campsite is ideal if you want a relaxing, tranquil holiday, full of home comforts, directly on the shores of the best sandy beach on the lake. The beach slopes gently into the lake making it ideal for little ones and for splashing about without danger. The campsite is directly on the lake with 56 pitches and two jetties giving access to the lake to launch boats from our own buoys. There are attractive modern mini apartments built in stone to the highest standards, with every comfort, immersed in the beautiful gardens full of flowers. INTERNET / WI-FI The campsite is covered by wi-fi signal in every area, so clients are able to use the service whether on the beach or in their campervan. In the apartments we have internet cable service if you wish to access it inside or alternatively outside via wi-fi. Camping Iseo qualified for the German ADAC Camping guide in 1997. Recognised as the best campsite on the lake with another 578 campsites in 33 European countries. In 2002 it qualified for the Dutch ANWB guide along with other Italian and European guides. For those who wish to come to our campsite but do not have wish to camp, we have modern apartments, designed by us, to offer the best facilities. In fact our apartments have been built and equipped to the highest standard, designed to offer the best views over the lake. We have apartments on the ground floor for 4-5 persons and on the first floor, for 2 persons. The ground floor apartments were designed for a family and are 40sq.m. with a large window which light s the whole apartment and leads to the private terrace with table and chairs. It has a double bedroom with wardrobe, two bed settees in the lounge area. The living area has a kitchen with everything you could need, fridge, crockery, breakfast area, chairs, satellite TV, air- conditioning, heating, safe, you can access internet and Wi-fi outside the apartment with internet point inside. Within the entrance, we have a bar and small shop for the basic necessities; like bread, pasta sauces, milk, eggs, yoghurts, butter, fruit juices, biscuits, brioche, chocolate, marmalade, oil, vinegar , salt, bottled water, wine, ice-cold beers and many more products. It is easy to get to supermarkets on foot , by car or bike, for the main shopping. Every morning we have wonderful fresh bread and pastries available. We also have a selection of wines typical of the area;” La Franciacorta” produces good red, white and sparkling wines, you have the opportunity to get to know the local produce. We have fridges and ice packs available for the use of our campers. Our campsite is situated directly on what is probably the best beach on the lake, in fact, thanks to our position we have the only beach with natural fine sand. Because of this we were the first campsite to be created on the lakeside. Ideal for little ones to play or to stretch peacefully and take the sun and with the added bonus of beach showers. The beach has a gradual slope into the water with no hidden holes or dangerous rocks and for this reason is ideal for toddlers and little ones. Our team is out every morning ensuring the beach is clean and free of weeds. A green lawn forms the pitches of our campsite, separated by trees which offer welcome shade during the summer. Each pitch has electricity which we will connect personally for you. The electricity is 5 amp. On our campsite we also have super-pitches, with water service and disposal. We have 12 pitches directly on the lake front , each with a superb view. Our campsite also boasts an underground car-park with video surveillance at reception. Campers are given a magnetic key to access and exit during the day from 7.30 in the morning to 11 at night, after which time the garage is secured with a special alarm system. Our facilities are our strong point, modern and practical they were built to satisfy the needs of all of our clients and they qualify in all the best Italian and foreign guides with the highest points for quality and cleanliness. Our showers are large, offering easy access and allowing parents to enter easily with children if they wish. We have modern toilets and single cabin washrooms with sink and mirror to have a bit of privacy. The sinks are built in to a marble surface with a large mirror, creating an elegant feel. The crockery washing area has ample hot water as does the separate laundry area. There is a chemical toilet, washing machine and dryer and ironing board and iron for those who need to iron. The female wash area has a bath for babies and a changing area. We also have private bathrooms ideal for a family or if you prefer total privacy and the comfort of leaving all your toiletries etc in a proper bathroom and not having to carry them back and forwards. The bathroom for the disabled has shower, wc and sink. The wash area is cleaned every day and checked several times each day by the proprietor. The reception is managed by the proprietor, to answer any questions, for information, we are always at your disposal, also just for a chat. If we can, we will suggest places to visit, where to take a walk, a drive, a bike ride, go jogging, or a good restaurant. The reception is open from 8am - 10pm, but also outside these hours we are available if you need anything. From 11pm-7.30am we ask for silence on the site and all clients are forbidden to enter in cars. Within the campsite we welcome dogs but ask owners to ensure they are under control and on a lead. On our campsite there is a “castle” with a slide and some toys, where little ones can play and invent games for a long time but not far from family. At the entrance to the women’s washing area there is a bath and changing area for little ones, so they do not have the stress of using the showers. At the bar we have a games room with various electronic games, table football and ping-pong also for the enjoyment of our bigger campers. The size of our campsite is ideal for families with children because they are easy to keep an eye on, without the risk of losing sight of them.
