We presented our ACSI card at check-in and were assured that this would be taken into account with 10%. We only realized at home that this was not the case. I put this right in an email. Unfortunately, this email was not even answered, let alone refunded

End of season trip
My wife and I traveled to the sunny south of Austria with our caravan at the end of the season.
We live in the Munich area and we managed the 300 km journey in just over 4 hours.
It's only a stone's throw from the highway exit near Villach to Lake Ossiach.
We were warmly welcomed at the site and had... an almost free choice of pitches depending on the season.
The sanitary facilities were not too far away and were clean.
We were also very happy with the bread service.
We explored a lot of the area by bike and cycled as far as the Wörthersee and along the Drau.
We will definitely be back

Friendly staff, beautiful views from the terraces, supermarket and restaurant on site. The new sanitary building S3 is top, cleanliness is top everywhere.

Reservation fee of €10, we had for the 1st time in many years of camping. The chemical toilet sink right next to the dish area, here a place away would be advantageous, through the open door (the room is too small, so everyone leaves it open) the smell is unbearable when people pour out. generally the S1 is equipped with too little space for the amount of pitches.

All written under advantages/disadvantages. The fact that there are campers who leave the radio on in the morning and all day, and the dog barks at EVERYONE who walks past, is not the campsite's fault, but it didn't contribute to our relaxation. It's just a tourist hotspot that we will avoid in future.

Summer vacation with a small child
A very nice vacation on Lake Ossiach with great surroundings and a beautiful campsite.
The staff are extremely friendly, take time for every guest and explain everything about the site as well as the generous leisure facilities in the surrounding area. Perfect service, something you rarely experience!...

We personally prefer strictly parceled-out pitches, but unfortunately this is not the case everywhere. Sometimes other guests use the pitches as a passageway to the shower house. But this is not the fault of the campsite operator. This has become more of a general problem.

We have been to this campsite many times because we like it so much.

Not what is suggested!
Unfortunately I can only award 2*!
We explicitly booked this place because of the facilities and the great children's entertainment and were very disappointed! Everything that is suggested on the homepage regarding the children's entertainment is inaccurate.
The two swimming islands anchored on the lake... have not existed for a long time. There is also no 2nd water slide, just a small baby slide that barely reaches the water. No bouncy castle and no Punch and Judy show, even though we spent more than a week there with our grandson in high season. There is also only a weak children's program on 4 days and not always! The entertainment that took place when we were there was run by 2 girls without care, commitment or music. It doesn't seem to have penetrated that children want to hear children's songs! There was no children's disco and the indoor playground, integrated into the restaurant, was just a small cage and nothing more than a ball pool for small children!
It is also not mentioned that there is a charge of €3 per 10 minutes for jumping on the trampoline!
We have already experienced a lot of children's entertainment on other campsites, but here the word children's entertainment is not the program. The meaning is already in the word, to animate children and have fun. We missed both here.
Also, the water is by no means as beautiful turquoise blue as it is presented on the homepage. This is probably due to the long, shallow beach. This naturally stirs up mud in the shallow water and makes the water cloudy.
The rest is up to the standard you would expect.
There will be no repeat visit for us.

Our pitch (100) was in a brilliant location, with an excellent view over Lake Ossiach. The ladies and gentlemen at reception were extremely friendly and very competent in all matters. The sanitary facilities are always kept clean and in immaculate condition. In general, it has to be said that a stay... here is well worthwhile and the wide range of leisure activities on offer, including swimming, hiking, cycling, etc., means that boredom is a thing of the past.

Beautiful new mobile homes
I was there with two school classes and was delighted. The new mobile homes are really beautiful, the grounds are well-kept, the location right on the lake is fantastic and the staff were nice and courteous to our children. There are only notable deductions for the construction site, but that should be history in 2 weeks and then you can enjoy this enchanting place in peace and quiet. Thank you for everything, we would love to come back!

Permanent camping at Martinz
The campsite is beautifully situated, spacious, sunny and directly on the lake. There are 2 sanitary blocks which are cleaned daily. The restaurant serves selected game dishes of very high quality. Tennis courts, a beach volleyball court and several table tennis tables are available. There is a single... trail just a few steps away.
However, those who prefer water sports can swim or choose and organize various activities such as waterskiing or tire and others, the motorboat then comes directly to the beach. Hiking and cycling are also possible from this location.
Fishing licenses are available directly from reception.
In summary, there is something for everyone, even if someone just wants peace and quiet, this is an ideal place, especially outside the main season.

Quiet location directly on the lake. Terrace pitches with great lake view. Wash house S3 has been newly renovated and is well maintained. A big compliment to the cleaning staff. Everything was always perfectly clean. Thank you for that. The restaurant is very good. Unfortunately, a bit of a lack of choice for vegetarians. The baked potato with vegetables was very tasty. Nice little beach. Ideal for families with children. Supermarket is well stocked. The staff are very friendly. We immediately felt at home.

Unfortunately, there are campers who use the beautiful fire bowls on the beach as garbage cans. Even though there are plenty of litter garbage cans available. It is a great pity that there are still some people who lack appreciation. Of course, this is not the campsite's fault.
This was our 1st time traveling with a motorhome. This campsite is great.
We were more than satisfied and will definitely be back. Thanks to the whole team.

Good but expensive
We were there a few years ago and spent a few days there this year on our way back from Italy. We were very pleasantly surprised. A lot has changed. The quality of the site has definitely improved, for example, the outdated sanitary buildings have now been renovated. The site is very well-kept and generally... makes a very good impression.

However, I have to say that at around €100 per night including all additional costs, we are used to a slightly different level of comfort. For example, for me a fresh water and waste water connection is definitely part of this price category. It is a little strange that you also have to pay extra for electricity consumption. This is something else I'm used to in this price category.

The children's entertainment had obviously already stopped, but the tent seemed to have been standing. I find this difficult during the high season.

Conclusion: A very nice place in itself, great view of the lake from terrace 4. Overall, however, the price-performance ratio is not (or no longer) right from my point of view, so I probably wouldn't go there again - a shame really.

A sewer at the pitch would have been great and the soap dispensers in the toilets were not refilled regularly. But that's complaining on a very high level.
Wonderful vacation
It was a very nice and relaxing stay for us. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a wonderful pitch with a direct view of the lake. There are so many leisure activities nearby that we will definitely have to come back as we still want to see a lot more. We are already looking forward to it.

The noise made by the children is the torrential heat but there is nothing you can do about the heat vast jump into the lake and it all goes away
Mr.
A wonderful place surrounded by greenery and in contact with the lake not too close to villach but perfect if you want to be quiet and rest. It offers a great window if you want to do sports with the fields and mountain bike trails(kept very well).
I would recommend it to my friends and family

Short vacation
We decided at short notice to get the last pitch on this wonderful site.
The reception was extremely friendly and everything was explained in detail. The allotted pitch had electricity directly on the pitch, consumption is displayed on a digital field on the charging point and is also transmitted remotely... when billing. There could be a little more shade trees. Although the sanitary facilities are no longer the latest, efforts are made to keep them clean (which is not always easy after some visitors).
The adjoining restaurant was a surprise! Not particularly inviting from the outside, it offers the finest cuisine with a large portion of friendliness. You should definitely try it!
All in all, it was a very nice stay and we will be back.

Pitch with lake access. Everything is in order there. The sanitary facilities are kept clean by the team. Thanks to the landmen/women for that. Despite the change of people and number of people during the stay, the reception team was helpful and the billing was perfect despite the challenge.

I can't think of any disadvantages that are worth mentioning. And if other campers behave like [insert animal (cloven-hoofed)], that's not a problem of a specific campsite but rather of a southern boot nation.
Booked online, went on vacation, was completely satisfied
I can't judge the restaurant, I only had ice cream and a beer. Whether the food is okay is for others to judge. There is a store on site that provides the essentials. It is now common for prices to be high in a store attached to a campsite. Not necessarily understandable. Personally, I'd rather pay a... few euros more for camping and go shopping in a store where even a local can afford butter than pay high prices. It just motivates caravanners to get in their car and go shopping a few kilometers away... Just my 2 cents.
Talked about everything: It was my first time at the site and if I want to visit the area again, I'll go back to this site because everything was just right. Then I'll go shopping by bike.
I would also like to say that the few permanent campers I had contact with were more than obliging. Unfortunately, you don't meet such helpful people every day.
