It’s a neat, quiet campground with nice, spacious sites. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and there was a food truck where we could get some fries in the evening. The campground owners are incredibly friendly and take the time to give tips on the surrounding area.

A hidden gem
We really enjoyed our stay in Tolne. If you're hiking the North Sea Trail, Tolne makes a great base. You can easily get to the trail by public transportation,

Tolne Campground
What a beautiful campground this is. We’ve been camping for countless years at many different places, but Tolne Campground is a gem that stands out from the rest. We stayed in a safari tent on a spacious site. All the sites are spacious at this park-like campground, by the way. The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. We hope to come back here again someday.

A beautiful campground with varying elevations, lovely surroundings, easily accessible by train, and clean and well-maintained restrooms. The owners are Dutch, and that’s pretty handy in Denmark

Tolne Campground
My sister and I spent a week at Tolne Camping and were very pleased. A beautiful campground and surroundings, friendly (Dutch) owners, clean and well-maintained restrooms, and so on. We were very satisfied.

Great vacation
Top-notch campground. We had a wonderful stay. The (Dutch) owners of the campground were very friendly and helpful when our tent turned out to have a leak. They gave us lots of great tips on things we could do as a family. The location is perfect; we were at the ferry to Sweden for our onward journey... within 20 minutes. We also rented bikes at the campground for a day and took the train to the island of Leaso for a day trip. The campground is close to Tversted, where you can drive right onto the beach, and the tourist town of Skagen. We were able to really relax at the campground thanks to the spacious campsites that you can choose yourself. There were sites in the woods or out in the open fields. The kids went on lots of adventures around the grounds and in the woods that are part of the campground. There was also a bouncy castle and a playground for the kids. On Saturday, we roasted marshmallows over the campfire, and over the weekend, the food truck was open for a real Tolne burger. Definitely recommended!!
