No problem at all.
The staff at the front desk speak Italian and English.
There’s a small supermarket and a restaurant on the premises.
The pool is very pleasant, with free lounge chairs and a bar. - 3.0

Small store with fresh bread rolls. Bathrooms: Insight into the washing area, only every 2nd tap works, no toilet paper, no towels, hooks missing. Restaurant: Pizza still OK, pasta dishes bad. Pitches muddy in the rain and partly height restricted (no SAT!)Well located place for sightseeingEven without a reservation, we received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a parking space. It is a well-located site for sightseeing, the leaning tower is a 20-minute walk away. WLAN is available everywhere. Electricity at every pitch, but only fused with 6A = 1380W, we blew the fuse a few... times when using the electric boiler and running the fridge. The unheated pool (swimming cap compulsory) is certainly nice in summer, but was too cold for us in October.
The pitches are unfortunately unpaved and therefore muddy when it rains, and everyone then carries the mud into the wash houses. The partial overhead power supply could provide shade in summer, but it prevented us from extending the satellite dish on the roof.
It was annoying that the entrance doors to the bathrooms were always open, so you have no privacy in the washing area, and that only every second tap works and the toilet paper is often empty. There is no soap, towels or hand dryer in the bathroom. Hooks for hanging up clothes are also missing in some showers.
The restaurant is not recommendable, my pizza was okay, but the pasta dishes were really bad: lukewarm pasta and the salmon was still frozen in the middle. The train station with good connections to e.g. Florence or to the sea in La Spezia is also close by.
As is usual in Italy, the campsite is not really quiet in the evening, and you should go to the excellent restaurant... on site at 7 pm to open up, otherwise it will be difficult to get a place.
There is a small pool and a well-stocked store.
However, the friendly staff there are simply overwhelmed.
The sanitary facilities are adequate and are cleaned daily, but you should bring your own toilet paper.
We had booked our pitch well in advance and it worked perfectly.
However, the pitches are not particularly large.
But overall, we think it's a campsite worth recommending. Pisa center including the leaning tower within walking distance. Uncomplicated to spend 1 night there at short notice, friendly welcome. Cramped, restless, busy, even in SeptemberClose to the towerYou can easily walk to the center and the leaning tower.
We got off the ferry in Piombino, arrived at the campsite around 4pm and had a lovely afternoon and evening in Pisa.
The campsite is ideally located to easily 'take in' Pisa, so you accept that it is quite cramped and restless. The sanitary facilities... are good when they have just been cleaned (pleasantly large shower!), but then quickly become dingy again.
All in all, perfect for stopping off in Pisa and doing a quick shop at the nearby Italian Lidl before continuing your journey. Clean sanitary facilities. Top price-performance ratio. NoneSuper placeWe received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own pitch. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. The campsite is very quiet but within sight of the Leaning Tower. The pool is nice, the cocktails at the bar great and the food in the restaurant very good. The croissants for breakfast were huge and still delicious the next day. Plenty of room for dogs and they were also allowed in the bar and restaurant.

There is a swimming pool, the sanitary facilities are good and clean, at night a freight train thunders from time to time and there is some noise from the neighboring industrial plants. But it works.
In short: Great for visiting the Leaning Tower, standard for a city campsite is OK, for a longer stay there are far better places. Walking distance to the leaning tower Easy to reachОтрицательныеDirty sanitary facilitiesGood for an overnight stayWe used the place for an overnight stay on our trip to Sardinia. It's a 20-minute drive from there to the Livorno ferry port. The leaning tower and the old town were a 10-minute walk away. The showers hadn't been cleaned properly for a long time and I made an effort not to touch anything. Mold and greasy... residue on each of the shower doors. Maybe they shouldn't have used white wooden doors here. No storage facilities and really very filthy. The fact that others have rated this as "adequate" shocks me a little. However, the pitches were clean and mostly shady. Ok for a visit to Pisa, but I wouldn't want to go on vacation there because of the sanitary facilities.
