Situated on the outskirts of Hartland. A 10-minute walk to the village with two small stores. Place otherwise uninteresting. Small campsite with non-parceled pitches, almost all more or less sloping. Nice view over the village to the sea from a few pitches. To Clovelly 7 km, to Hartland Quay 4 km. Both... very worth seeing. Sanitary facilities simple and old, only 2 toilets, showers and washbasins for each gender. Everything in need of renovation. No cleaning during our stay (4 days). No gray water inlet for camper vans. Worst of all, there is a metal processing company right next to the site that builds waste containers. On weekdays, 08:00 to 18:00, sometimes deafening noise, which completely disqualifies the campsite as a vacation spot. Operator very nice and helpful. 20 £ all incl. devaluation due to the completely unacceptable noise, otherwise 3 to 4 stars would be justified.
