A bit fuller at the weekend and therefore a bit more "noise". For us, however, it can still be described as a quiet place.
We didn't visit the restaurant on site. We were particularly impressed by the child-friendliness: the playground is lovingly designed and offers plenty of opportunities to run around and explore - our children didn't want to leave! It's just under an hour's drive for us, but we would drive much longer for this site because it's simply worth spending time here. If you haven't been here yet, you should do so immediately, because there aren't... many places that are looked after by the operator like this one.
I can only praise it highly and appeal to everyone who hasn't been here yet: Hitch up your car and drive to Heidewald!!!

The sanitary facilities are clean and modern, and the surroundings are beautiful. There is a swimming lake and good shopping... facilities nearby.
