"Vacation in the small Walser valley at CP Verboden - There are different court sizes and court surfaces, whether gravel, gravel and grass or completely grass. As well as shade, semi-shade and pure sun. What I didn't like so much is that there is only one sanitary building for the whole site. In the high season, this will probably not be enough and there will be waiting times at the toilets, showers and wash-up areas. Despite everything, it was nice,

"Very idyllic location with enough free space. - We can recommend this campsite at any time. We really liked everything around it. But as I said, slightly larger sanitary facilities would be nice

"Great place with a great team - The site is located in a fantastic landscape and is the ideal starting point for hikes in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal. The team is always friendly and the infrastructure such as the kiosk, restaurant and sanitary facilities are very good. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to slow down and enjoy nature.

"Camping site close to nature in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal - This site is located at the far end of the valley. On arrival, you are greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately shown to your pitch. The pitches are quite varied, although most of them (especially the comfort pitches with water/waste water) are in a great location and offer a beautiful view of the mountains. Unfortunately, the pitches are allocated according to availability, so if you're unlucky you'll end up on the normal pitches without a view or on roots under the trees. Also, not all pitches offer satellite reception, which I would indicate when making a reservation. In addition, the pitch is long and there is (only) one small toilet at the back. You have to walk through the whole site to shower and wash up because the sanitary building is at the beginning of the site. This sanitary building looks new from the outside, but has only been partially renovated. The showers are relatively narrow for changing and without a shower, but washing up is fun :-). The site also has a small, newly designed playground and a football pitch. In the mornings, you can order bread rolls in advance and the shop also offers a small selection of essentials. There is also a restaurant attached, where you can enjoy a fine meal or pick up your food. A clear plus point is the location of the campsite for the endless hikes and excursions throughout the Kleinwalsertal, which can be easily mastered with the free bus. This runs very often in the high season. However, there is a surcharge for excursions to nearby Germany. On arrival, we were informed that charcoal barbecues are not allowed on the pitches. This is exactly what we wanted and did not expect in such a location. But there's nothing on the website about this, so how were we supposed to know? That's not ok, but I was told that it would be adjusted. Unfortunately too late for us.

"Top campsite - Everything very good. Small place, clean and very well maintained. Top location in the mountains. Friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty food on site. Everything organic and regional and also something for vegans. Everything top👍

"Two wonderful days - We felt very comfortable, everyone was relaxed, the surroundings were a dream (torrent directly behind the site) and our dog was welcome. What more could you want on vacation 🤩

A Warm Welcome to Vorderboden! Summer camping here offers a range of exciting perspectives. Important to mention: The mountain railway ticket, valid in Kleinwalsertal and Oberstdorf, is included with stays of 4 nights or more. You can use 8 mountain …railways as often as you like for free, making hiking fun for all ages. The focus is on natural relaxation, surrounded by the beauty of the Walser Alps, the calming sound of the Breitach River, and the scent of blooming mountain meadows. We take great care of you! Well-maintained and renovated sanitary facilities, including hot water, individual wash cubicles, as well as washing machines and dryers, are available. A food kiosk with fresh rolls, local fruits and vegetables, and regional specialties is on-site. We are happy to order items specifically for you based on your individual wishes. For children, there is a playground, a football field, and a trampoline. Teenagers enjoy playing table tennis or relaxing in the lounge with satellite TV. New in 2020: A small eatery offering regional delicacies. Hike directly from the campsite to the most beautiful corners of Kleinwalsertal. The bus is free throughout the valley, and the bus stop is right near the campsite. We are happy to offer advice and tips for your leisure activities and take the time to help.
