Small and cozy. Friendly reception. There seems to have been a change of operator compared to the previous year. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Yes, the campsite is on a road, but you don't notice it (from my point of view). Shopping facilities accessible by bike or car. I have known the site for over 40 years. At that time the wash house was still at the back. They were working on the electricity supply. We found a new electricity column at the site.

Sanitary facilities urgently need to be overhauled. The wash house is more than 30 years old. No toilet seats available (are the costs being spared here?) Furthermore, the toilets were still separated for men and women in 2023. Now the sanitary facilities have been merged, which I don't think is appropriate. Unfortunately, in 2025 you could no longer choose the pitches yourself. This time the pitch was predetermined.

(---) too many trees and shrubs, beware of pollen, falling branches... in mid-June, some pitches are unkempt, not mowed or mowed and left as they are, the grass is not raked and left in clumps, the lawn is no longer there in places or burnt, dead birds, and even the right to trim the hedges. some pitches... with trees have sewage slabs right in the middle. only one washing machine and one tumble dryer for the whole campsite (83 pitches and 10 mobile homes): not enough for a 3-star campsite. the snack bar looks like a rubbish dump, but the wi-fi makes it necessary to go there. cleanliness of snack terrace is average (spider web and bird droppings on chairs). very noisy campsite: road, train, plane, house alarm, nearby pool, fireworks, lawnmower, hedge trimmer... (--+) visit of the whole campsite, in the end it is half abandoned, part of the campsite is not used. mobile homes are at the back of the campsite, far from everything! the children's playground is dirty, away from the pitches, which are in poor condition. campsite reception closed at lunchtime. (-++) general cleanliness leaves something to be desired as summer approaches. wi-fi quality available at the snack bar is satisfactory (debit7Mb/s) satellite TV is difficult to obtain, even for motorhomes, hence the need to choose your pitch carefully. (+++) the bread service and reception are excellent. the sanitary facilities are well maintained. shops less than 5 minutes away by car or 10 minutes on foot. pizzas on site, fast availability, affordable price and good quality. although there's only one washing machine, it's very efficient. bottom line: the campsite is not suitable for families with children. go around the campsite to choose your pitch. don't expect peace, quiet and rest.

Located on a fairly busy lane which is less disruptive if you are in the back. Frequent train traffic, but you get used to it quickly. Tightly demarcated sufficient places with the classic 6amp plug and water tap. Free internet all over the campsite! Plenty of sanitary facilities that were maintained... daily even in September. At night and in the morning there is almost no lighting; those who wish to visit the sanitary facilities (without toilet paper) should bring a flashlight! Tourist tax is 0.39 euro p/n. The offer 2=3 is a nice bonus! Located on cycling route next to the Loire, as good as flat towards Tours (15km) and somewhat hilly towards Amboise (15km). Definitely go wine tasting in the caves and also visit the village with its two hot bakeries. The "office du toursime" provided us with excellent information up to cycling maps.
