About the campsite Bartula - My Olive Garden Camp is a small sized campsite in ancient olive grove with a style of 'back to nature' with an emphasis on privacy and intimacy, in addition in an unpopulated land. Bartula - … My Olive Garden Camp is exlusively for tents (sorry not suitable for caravans), situated in area called Bartula of a city Stari Bar in Montenegro, inhabited for more than 2500 years. It is well know as one of the most important region for olives in Adriatic. More specifically, located in orchard full of several-centuries-old olive trees at the foot of the mountain Rumija. On the entrance of canyon of Vruca Rijeka river, know for adrenaline canyoning. Only few kilometers from the coast of Adriatic sea. The coast is mediterranean, all about olives, wine and seafood and keeps it ancient connection to the sea. The place is located 5 kilometers as the crow flies from the sea beach in the Bar’s riviera. And about 1.5 kilometers as the crow flies in the historic center of Stari Bar. Briefly... • the area of the camp is fenced and suitable only for tents - capacity is approximately 20 three bed tents • well-trained and well behaving pets allowed • bike rentals availability, ask for more information What's in or a tip for a nice day in Nature and ancient olive groves gave us the possibility to offer you the camp of the "back to nature". The sun wakes you up when it will climb above the majestic mythical mountain Rumija. Valley, where our camp is located is hilly, but there is enough space for tents as it is almost perfect thanks grassy terraces around the whole camping area. You will prepare your breakfast in the kitchen for guests (or you can order and we will prepare it) and can enjoy them inpleasant sitting at wooden tables and benches. During the day, you can visit vast amount of places, natural beauties. Or you can just lay back and relax in shadow of olive trees and grapes couse you are on holiday. And if its get too hot for you, just walk for 5 minutes and take a bath in the mountain stream, active all year-round (except in the extremely dry summers). After a walk rejuvenate in a hot shower in one of the bathrooms. You can enjoy a pleasant evening in an olive grove with tasting of local culinary products we offer in our bar. And even if you are fancy some grilled specialties made using regional recipes. After an eventful day, relax in your tent in our camp with a capacity of about 20 tents, or use our tent-for-rent service. And your car or bike is happily napping as well in the parking lot fenced next campsite. Parking capacity within the area is limited. Share your experiences with friends via wi-fi internet connection that is available and if the phone battery is low, you can charge it in "charging corner" in the reception area. Our goal is to make each of you feel just well. Therefore, we divided our camp into zones - Family zone, Quiet zone, Youth zone. Visitting the town Stari Bar by walk... through olive groves There is an easy hiking trail through ancient olive groves connecting us with historical town of Stari Bar.

The route goes by roads E80/E65, E851 and minor roads. … If not visiting historical towns Perast and Kotor in Boka Bay, we recommend to take ferry Kamenari - Lepetane (prices here: www.ferry.co.me/EN/Cjenovnik.html) so you left state road E80/E65, passing through the town of Tivat and after the town connecting back to road E80/E65 which leads to town Sutomore. Then continue by the road E851 through the city of Bar where after long road-overpass take 2nd right-turn on roundabout direction Stari Bar. Continue 1.6 km where take right-turn (already little bit uphill), then after 600 meters, cross the river through narrow bridge and continue straight on the junction. We pass near an old industrial hall on our left and then just follow Bartula - My Olive Garden camp signposts last 1.7 km by the winding road to the camp. DIRECTION FROM SERBIA VIA PODGORICA (THE CAPITAL OF MONTENEGRO) Map: http://goo.gl/maps/A4hq9 The lenght from border Serbia - Montenegro to Bartula My Olive Garden camp is roughly 180 kilometers. The route goes by roads E80/E65, E851 and minor roads. From border SRB-MNE take the road E80/E65 to the town of Sutomore (there is a road tunnel 4.2 km long before Sutomore). Then continue by the road E851 through the city of Bar where after long road-overpass take 2nd right-turn on roundabout direction Stari Bar. Continue 1.6 km where take right-turn (already little bit uphill), then after 600 meters, cross the river through narrow bridge and continue straight on the junction. We pass near an old industrial hall on our left and then just follow Bartula - My Olive Garden camp signposts last 1.7 km by the winding road to the camp. DIRECTION FROM ALBANIA - VIA CITY OF ULCINJ Map: http://goo.gl/maps/LZwgz The lenght from border Albania - Montenegro to Bartula My Olive Garden camp is roughly 50 kilometers. The route goes by road E851 and minor roads. From border ALB-MNE take the road E851 to the suburbs of city of Bar. When get to urbanized plains search for signpost “Stara Maslina - Old olive tree” which leads to the right, take this road and take it left on the junction before Old olive tree. Then just follow Bartula - My Olive Garden camp signposts by the winding road to the camp.
