Lovers of tranquillity and nature will undoubtedly get their money's worth at Camping du Sabot, located on the outskirts of Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon. The campsite is a green oasis, neatly kept and brightened up with colourful flowerbeds. You will have a wonderful … view on this wooded, hilly part of the Haute-Loire. The campsite is mainly aimed at those seeking peace and quiet, which does not detract from the fact that the surroundings are ideally laid out for various outdoor activities. Beautiful camping The spacious, green pitches are amply shaded by the various types of trees on the site. The pitches are not very secluded, so you can enjoy the beautiful view as much as possible. The campsite is ideally situated for this; right next to a pine forest and between the Gorges de la Loire and the river Lignon. Some pitches are equipped with a picnic table. The pitches are flat and grassy and offer you the choice between the coolness of the pine forest or the magnificent view from the semi-shaded meadow. Wireless WIFI on all pitches. Free showers The sanitary facilities may look a little dated at first glance, but they are kept very clean. What's more, you can take a hot shower for free, so no hassle with coins. The necessary services for campers are also offered to guests free of charge. There is a cistern for chemical toilets and a place to refill the water tank. Sports activities for young and old At this campsite you have the possibility to practice all kinds of ball sports. Such as basketball, but also table football and table tennis. You can also take part in boules tournaments. For the children there is a nice playground where they can climb, swing and tumble on the carousel.
