- Armin G.September 2020PozytywnePitch size and private sanitary facilities on the pitch Very well drained pitchesNegatywnePitches are car-free, you have an allocated parking space in front of the field or in the central parking lot. It's bad when it rains incessantly, as it did during our stay, because the distances to the car are very long (we use our van as additional storage space).Repeatedly great stay - despite CoronaWe have repeatedly stayed at this beautifully located campsite, which is run by a family and is extremely friendly. There are only pitches with private sanitary facilities here, a very successful and good concept (especially in times of Corona). We had actually booked for Easter 2020, Corona prevented... this, we received an unsolicited voucher, which we simply and easily redeemed in Sept/Oct 2020. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain, and thanks to the well-drained fields we didn't "drown", but of course the areas were very wet after the many days of heavy rain. Breakfast must be pre-ordered online and can be collected from the brasserie from 08.30 in the morning, contactless payment - great! We didn't visit the brasserie and therefore can't rate it; however, the take-away food from the snack corner (same kitchen as the brasserie) was delicious and we can recommend it (small, clear selection).
The fact that the fields are car-free is perhaps an advantage (the camper van is chauffeured to the pitch by the staff with a tractor), but we like having our van right next to the pitch, as we also use it as additional storage space; the lawn is of course super and very well-kept due to this protection. The whole park is beautifully designed and very well maintained.
Overall, we can recommend de Meerpaal without reservation. We've been there several times and it certainly won't be the last time!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Laura T.May 2018Simply super !!!We felt very comfortable It was clean Nice people Super staff Great restaurant Snakbar Fresh bread rolls in the morning Fun for kids Dogs are allowed The sea and the market are within walking distance Rubd um satisfied ! - Peter D.May 2018PozytywneVery quiet, large pitches, close to the beach,NegatywneNone found.A great campsiteWe (58 and 62) were here for the second time. We simply enjoy the peace and quiet and the flat countryside for cycling. The caravan is pulled onto the pitch by the staff with a small tractor. The size of the site is simply fantastic. With the private bathroom right next to the caravan, water, waste water... and electricity connections (16 A), the comfort is perfect. The drainage works very well even in heavy rain. The car is parked in a parking lot in front of the caravan. Motorhomes can park directly on the access road. Dog owners will find their home on pitches 225-248. WLAN is also ok. The restaurant has a simple menu, but it's great. The weekly menu (3 courses) can only be recommended. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away. We did not visit the wellness area. It was too warm for us.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Kevin S.April 2018PozytywneVery well-kept private sanitary facilities Very well-kept quiet place Many beautiful cycle paths Nice little town Beautiful beach with beach pavilions10 out of 5 starsWe have already been to this beautiful and lovingly designed and well-maintained site a few times. You have everything you need on the site and despite the many children it is also very quiet as the campsite is just around the corner from the beautiful playground. For us it is the most beautiful campsite... in Zeeland and we will definitely be back. We try to spend at least 1 week a year on this site. The small town of Zoutelande is also very nice and is only a few minutes' walk away. We also love the beautiful beach pavilions right by the sea. The pitch is always equipped with private sanitary facilities and water, waste water and of course electricity. You are not allowed to drive on the grass. The caravan is maneuvered onto the pitch by the staff. You can see that too. You hardly dare to step on the lawn, it looks so well-kept and lush green. You can make very nice bike tours even with smaller children as there are many cycle paths, e.g. along the dune far away from the road. As I said, for us the most beautiful place with very friendly staff and we will definitely be backPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Caspar S.August 2014PozytywneThe beachNegatywneIgnorance of the neighboring campersCampsite for discerning guestsWell, I thought the location was very nice. The path to the beach over a very high dune offers a great view, especially at sunset. The pitches are huge and you have little contact with the neighbors. However, I didn't really feel at home.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Rainer S.August 2013A campsite worth recommending. The proximity to the beach and the wonderful beach with its beach bars are only somewhat spoiled by the high dune crossing for older people. Bread roll service could be earlier. Excellent cycle path network. Distance to the main town with further shopping facilities 20 min on foot.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Fritz-Ekkard S.August 2013We spent a week with our caravan on a luxury comfort pitch at the end of August. These pitches are not only generously sized, but each pitch also has its own sanitary facilities! Your own shower/toilet! Super! Friendly service at the registration desk, helpful and friendly with questions - a successful... concept! However, at € 39 for 2 people and a trailer, it's not exactly cheap! The site is a good starting point for cycling, strolling, sightseeing by car in the surrounding area (Middelburg) and further afield (Bruges). There is a very well maintained 18-hole golf course near Goes. Directly behind the course, about 150 steps lead out of the dunes and down to the endless beautiful sandy beach with 2 restaurants for the small hunger and thirst. You can rent small beach cabins with awnings, 2 sun loungers etc.. We were certainly not the last time on this sitePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Holger W.July 2013Very nicely located place.very friendly Adoer staff.you are quickly at the beach.however, first 150 steps must be overcome.negative are the many dog owners who leave the feces of their dogs everywhere, even on the beach. The animation for children is only offered in Dutch. The surrounding area is very beautiful: Vlissingen, Goes, Middelburg.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Maria K.July 2013A great, well-kept, manageable campsite. Close to the fantastic, wide and gently sloping beach. The on-site sanitary facilities are great. Nearby is the beautiful town of Middelburg, great for strolling and shopping :) It was our first time there and we will definitely be back! The only bad thing are the dog owners who don't dispose of their dogs' poo.......Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Helmut A.October 2012Exceptionally well maintained facility. Friendly staff. Private sanitary facilities on the pitch. Very quiet location. The nearby beach pavilion is ideal for relaxing, but people with a spoiled palate should not dine there. It was our first time on this site, but we will definitely be back. During the season and on public holidays, Zoutelande and the surrounding area are certainly a hive of activity, but out of season it's really nice and cozy.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Hubert J.August 2011Quiet, well laid out, clean site right next to the dunes, beautiful plots separated by hedges for 3 to 4 units (tents or caravans/mobile homes). Distance to Zoutelande only about 1 km. Clean sanitary facilities, unfortunately too few showers (for the high season), small drawback: no HW basin in the urinal area. Very friendly, helpful staff. Daily bread roll service (2 x wholemeal + 2 x wheat = €2.50). We liked it overall.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Martina S.June 2011Only 2 minutes walk to the beach - you can hear the sound of the sea right into the tent .... Familiar atmosphere & very clean! :)Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Klaus S.August 2010Very well-kept site, only a few minutes' walk or cycle ride to the sea via a (high) dune, to the beautiful town of Zoutelande with good shopping facilities. Very good entertainment for children, very helpful and friendly staff. We had a comfortable pitch with its own washroom, toilet and shower room,... own sink, water connection, antenna connection, simply great! You can get to all the well-known places in the area (Vlissingen, Mittelburg, Oostkapelle, Westkapelle etc.) quickly by bike. Didn't need a car the whole week. Highly recommended.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Joachim K.June 2010Beautiful, well-run and clean campsite, consisting of 2 parts (more luxury on the new part, more atmosphere on the old part) - i.e. something for everyone, depending on personal taste. Unfortunately, the access roads on the new part tend to invite drivers to drive at high speeds, so that it is not always safe for children to cycle there, for example.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
