Nice place for an overnight stay and a visit to the Abbey
Nice place for a stopover and to visit the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey. The welcome was friendly and the pitch was spacious and easily accessible. As usual in Scotland an open pitch with no hedges or divisions between pitches.
The access is somewhat inconspicuous opposite the tweed store between businesses... over a very questionable narrow bridge.
Very clean washrooms, showers and toilets. Overall, we felt quite comfortable.
Recommendation for the evening: 'The Belter's Bar' in Jedburgh. Don't be put off by the modest exterior. Inside is a typical pub with good food.
