Wiebke A.październik 20262.0Wiebke A.październik 2026PozytywneLocation on the RhineNegatywneFar too many long-term campersOnce and never againThe location on the Rhine is great, and the hiking opportunities—which is why we came to the region in the first place—are good.
Unfortunately, Remagen isn’t pretty at all. It’s a matter of taste, but it’s definitely not my thing. Erpel on the other side of the Rhine is the exact opposite—simply beautiful.... The campground is run by the long-term campers, which makes it not at all cozy. All these fully built-up plots everywhere—it’s awful. And then there are set times for trash pickup and for showering. I’m not up for that. And then there are shower tokens… Sorry, I stayed there once for one night, but I won’t be going back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną. There was a bread delivery service, and an Edeka supermarket was just a 700-meter... walk away. It was almost the same distance from where we were to the showers (I’ve never seen anything like that before)—it’s good to have a bike with you.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną. We were only there for one night and can't say much about the cleanliness, it was fine for us and we will definitely come again, a small drawback is the rather high step to the Pazelle, but there are always the friendly campers.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną.

Through two gates (secured) you can get directly to the Rhine with a cycle path to Remagen (1.5 km approx.). Remagen invites you to stroll and eat ice cream. There is a small restaurant on the site with Italian and German cuisine at reasonable prices (and... it was delicious too). Bread roll service available (but we didn't use it), very clean sanitary facilities. Sufficient pitches, sometimes long distances to the electricity connection. Some dog owners are annoying (they left piles directly in front of our motorhome), but it's not the operator's fault. - 3.0SFSebastian F.wrzesień 20203.0SFSebastian F.wrzesień 2020PozytywneLocated directly on the Rhine between Remagen and Kripp.NegatywneNo WLAN, even the mobile internet was catastrophic around the campsite.Nice place with lots of room for improvement. We spent 5 nights at the Goldene Meile campsite in Remagen. The staff at reception were very friendly.
The site is located directly on the Rhine and the Rhine cycle path. Ideal for cycling tours to Remagen, Linz, Ahrweiler etc.
There was no WLAN at all. Mobile internet (Vodafone and O2) miserable.
The... sanitary facilities unfortunately left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. It would be nice if they were cleaned more often.
There is a small kiosk where you can buy drinks and order bread rolls for the next day.
We didn't try the Italian restaurant on site. However, our neighbors were delighted.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną. A lot has changed for the better. The sanitary building has become really nice since the renovation. Unfortunately, there is no separate washroom for children with mom and/or dad. There is... a very nice children's bathtub in the women's sanitary area - unsuitable for men ;-) - but our 1.5 year old son prefers to shower with us.
The playground is beautifully situated under trees in the shade and offers everything older children could wish for - climbing frame, slide, swings,... It would be nice to have a climbing frame for the smaller children.
The location directly on the Rhine is also very nice. You can watch ships or throw stones into the water at any time. The cycle path runs right past the site and invites you to take a trip to the Rhine promenade and the ice cream parlor in Remagen.
The location is also ideal as a starting point for hikes. The Erpeler Ley directly opposite, Rheinsteig, Rheinburgenweg,... all within easy reach.
The trains on the tracks on the opposite bank of the Rhine have also become much quieter in recent years and are no longer a nuisance.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną. We arrived after 3 p.m. (lunch break between 1 and 3 p.m.) and found the reception closed. There was a sign on the stairs saying "Be right back". After we waited for a while and another vehicle was waiting behind us, we pressed... the bell at the barrier (there was another sign indicating this). When the employee arrived, he was very angry that we had rung the bell. The rest of the conversation was limited to the bare minimum. No mention of shower tokens, let alone bread roll service or WiFi. The pitch was sufficiently large and level, but the paths are bordered by kerbs, so that a wedge was needed to get from the path with the uncoupled caravan onto the pitch. The mover alone was not enough. There are two strips of grass pavers for the bikes on each pitch, otherwise grass. It was a bit muddy in the fall. The pitch is located directly on the Rhine, but the gates are locked. As far as I could see, the pitches on the Rhine are reserved for permanent campers. The sanitary facilities look new and were clean. Only the fountain basin by the ladies' shower could be cleaned of algae. You need shower coins to shower.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną. Bądź pierwszy!

Wilfried V.październik 20193.0Wilfried V.październik 2019PozytywnePlace right on the Rhine, great area, everything you need is nearby.NegatywneWhen it has rained, some of the pitches sink into the mud. That's no longer nice.Good place in a great locationThe campsite is in a prime location directly on the Rhine. Very good starting point for hiking and cycling. The reception was friendly, sanitary facilities were clean, WLan was free and also worked. The kiosk can be bent, shopping can be done nearby, no problem. Unfortunately, the "comfort pitches" sink... into the mud when it rains, which should be remedied, especially as they are not cheap either. We've been here several times and will be happy to come again, if only because of the beautiful area.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną. - 3.0AMAndreas M.październik 20193.0AMAndreas M.październik 2019PozytywneLocation on cycle path and RemagenNegatywneThe background noise from ships and trains will disturb some campers at night.Ok for a short stayFriendly welcome at reception, level pitches, comfort pitches with water/waste water connection, pitches on the banks of the Rhine mainly occupied by permanent campers. Modern, large main sanitary building, reasonably clean during our stay in mid-October, but cleaning was sparse. Restaurant & kiosk available,... direct access to the Rhine through a locked gate, key must be collected from reception, which is closed at lunchtime (at least when we were there), so new arrivals may have to wait 2 hours. On arrival we only had the choice between comfort pitches, logically hardly any green due to the time of year, but if you don't need water or sewage connection, 29.00 euros for 2 people per night + shower tokens are quite expensive. Wifi didn't work, bread roll service didn't work either, our order wasn't accepted at the kiosk on Fridays, they referred us to Saturday and preferred beer bottles. The kiosk was closed on Saturday, thank you. The ruin and peace museum "Bridge of Remagen" is 250 meters away, old town Remagen about 2000 meters, both accessible by bike / footpath.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną.
- 3.0BSBen S.sierpień 20193.0BSBen S.sierpień 2019PozytywneGood shopping facilities, view of the Rhine, well maintained.NegatywneBarbed wire in front of the Rhine as the cycle path runs along it.Beautiful location with compromises...Very well-kept campsite with already mowed green areas and tidy paths. Sanitary area clean and inviting. Showers 0,50€/4 minutes is ok. The location would be so fantastic right on the Rhine if you weren't separated from the bank by barbed wire. Comfort pitches offer more space and their own water supply... and disposal, but the WLAN is apparently so weak that it doesn't reach there. Because of this and the barbed wire directly in front of the pitch facing the Rhine, the price is unfortunately too expensive.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną.

- 4.0SWStefan W.lipiec 20194.0SWStefan W.lipiec 2019PozytywneLocationNegatywneCleanliness WC house, WlanGolden Mile RemagenWe were in Remagen in July/August. Positive is the location of the place, Remagen is easy to reach on foot and by bike, shopping facilities with Edeka, Müller, Norma about 500 meters next to the place. There are plenty of places to visit (Linz, Bonn, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Nürburgring .... to name but... a few). There is only one wash house on the site, but it is more than adequate. On the surface, this wash house was always clean, but the black stains in the joints of the showers and wash cubicles are not very confidence-inspiring. Showers cost extra (50 cents for 4 minutes) and waste disposal works well. Some of the pitches are huge. The following points are not so great: WLAN is included in the price but only available at reception and in the wash house. Definitely great for children and teenagers! The toilet block with flushing facilities on the left-hand side of the pitch could do with more attention from the cleaning staff. There are site rules that every guest receives, but unfortunately there is no groundsman to monitor compliance with quiet times, especially at night. A youth group with about 10 tents playing loud music until two o'clock at night and partying at the same volume in the middle of the normal campsite, that doesn't have to be, but even after a note at the reception, the site management unfortunately didn't care at all.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną.
