- 1.0KPKlaus P.maj 20261.0KPKlaus P.maj 2026PozytywneThe Restaurant IndustryNegatywneManyRatingThe campground is located in a quiet area, but it has too many trees and bushes. The paths are too dusty when it’s dry and too muddy when it rains. The terraced layout of the site isn’t good either. The bike path around the lake is a disaster. It’s way too bumpy, littered with sharp rocks, and very poorly... marked. Without a GPS, you’re lost.
The so-called "beach" isn’t one at all. It’s full of vegetation debris. You can only get into the water to swim via a ladder from the dock. And what’s with this nonsense—dogs are allowed in the water to the left of the dock but not to the right?!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Żaden biwakowicz nie uznał jeszcze tej recenzji za pomocną. We received a friendly welcome and were shown the ropes. The pitches are partly terraced, so there are many pitches with lake views. The site is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are clean. It is a campsite that lives up to its name. Breakfast rolls could... be ordered the day before. Ratzeburg is 6.5 km away. There is a foot/cycle path along the lake, but it was a bit muddy due to the weather. We liked the campsite very much and would recommend it to others. Also very suitable as a stopover for water hikers.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną.

RN L.maj 20254.0RN L.maj 2025PozytywneThe site is well located by the lake and cycle path. A small restaurant on site and next door a farm with seasonal cuisine. Vending machines for what is still missing.NegatywneIt would be nice if the toilet area was renovated like the shower area. Very sandy paths.Friendly place very close to natureWe received a very friendly welcome. The extension from two to three nights was also implemented very nicely. We had a very quiet and sheltered pitch. Well located for cycling tours in the area, to Ratzeburg and Lübeck. The sanitary area was always clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant's kitchen is only open until 19:00. An hour longer would be very nice.A great timeAll the staff were very courteous and friendly. This campsite is from the 1960's. The boundaries of the pitches are plastic tape on the ground... the condition of the pitches is like a horse meadow. The Aldi foot mat in the sanitary area is broken and so dirty... that it is better to avoid it. nothing is apparently invested in this site, which unfortunately also applies to the restaurant on the site. some motorhome pitches are so short that you stand in the way...Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną.

The pitches are not always level and some are far too small. Despite prior registration and a maximum occupancy rate of 20 percent, we were allocated an area where there was only room for the caravan (4.50 meters) and the awning, but no more for the car. The pitches... on the so-called "Zeltwiese" (tent meadow) are only partitioned off with tape and are less than 50 square meters in size. A plus point for families is the huge playground. The reservation did not work out.
The sanitary facilities in one building are considerably outdated. I found the cleanliness of both buildings disgusting. I prefer to wash myself in my own vehicle. After cleaning, it smelled of urine.
