Close to the beach.

The restrooms are showing their age and are exactly the same as they were during our first visit 22 years ago. The staff is unfriendly, especially when it comes to changes to the reservation—for example, if there are fewer people, no refund is given.
Dating and not modernized, unfriendly staff
We've been here quite a few times over the past few decades. This was definitely our last stay. The price and quality are no longer worth it.
I don't see this campground as a 5-star property.

Extreme Mosquito Infestation The staff at the pool reception desk are extremely unfriendly and bossy. You feel like a supplicant or a nuisance, not a guest. Inspections of flip-flops and sneakers for the fitness center are the order of the day. No problem, but it’s the tone that matters. Some of the showers aren’t really clean. The bar was never open, even now during peak season. The campsite wasn’t mowed and was littered with lots of large rocks. You need heavy-duty equipment just to get tent pegs into the ground.
Generally OK, but that's about it
The stay was OK, but for the reasons mentioned, we won't be visiting this place again.

The location is very good for Baltic Sea and Zingst fans, but apparently the mosquitoes are not controlled. Was unbearable at the beginning of 9/25. Many regulations on site and completely overpriced in the price-performance ratio

Large pitches, swimming pool, sauna, bread delivery service, restaurant, children's entertainment... Everything you need is there. Sanitary facilities are clean. The nearest supermarket is within walking distance.

Playgrounds are not particularly exciting, the showers were sometimes very full, when washing up in the afternoon there was no hot water for ages, no dog shower, the walk to the dog beach is quite long (approx. 2km), the food in the restaurant was expensive and of poor quality
Beautiful, well-equipped place
We really enjoyed our summer vacation on the pitch. The staff were friendly and the hard ground didn't bother us with the right equipment. The site is in a very nice location. Only the food in the restaurant is not worth the money. In any case, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Staff (m) at reception very, very unfriendly and loud. We had a pitch outside of the actual pitch, which we were charged for the next day with a comp site. Without electricity. When asked about this, the employee was again unfriendly and loud. We should be glad that we were allowed to stay here for one night at all. So to sum up: It's a shame that we were treated like this and therefore leider👎🏻 due to the unfriendly staff (m) .

You can get to Zingst quickly from there The beach is a dream.

The pitch...went like this. The ground was so hard and uneven that we could hardly get pegs in. One wash house only had cold water all the time. Rules on the campsite are not even observed by the staff. e.g. walking speed...there were lots of children walking around. I personally didn't find the staff very friendly. A smile does no harm. Children's playground.... I expected better for a 5 star campsite, there were only 2 small ones. Entertainment...well, the two young girls made an effort but even there you had to give a tip yourself. The girls getting bread rolls in the morning are unorganized. Then...the mosquitoes. Well...it's not the site's fault, but 10 days of annoying mosquitoes, there's no real relaxation in sight, because we just want to relax in front of the WW. Conclusion... we were there with 3 Ww and will not be coming back.
It should be 10 days of rest
I don't see a 5 star place there at all.
Expected more because we have already seen better with a deserved 5 star.

Expensive, no proper playground, no table tennis tables, no soccer or volleyball! No real meeting place for kids and teenagers The way to the beach is long because strangely enough there is no 2nd exit near the beach so everyone always has to go to the barrier Very hard stony ground little grass

As already mentioned in the advantages and disadvantages, there are positive but also negative things to report!
It should also be mentioned that you can hardly get any screws or pegs into the ground!
It is very stony! The puddles were all over the pitch!

Infrastructure & location are good. Not far from the beach. Very quiet.

Hard ground, getting pegs into the ground is tough and almost only possible with heavy equipment. No dog shower.
Nice short vacation in Zingst
Great campsite, large pitches at fair prices. Restaurant with bread roll service.
Clean showers - even without a queue - despite the high season and good booking.
We felt very comfortable. We were able to relax well. Bicycle routes are great in the area. The town is easily accessible by bike or on foot. A supermarket is almost around the corner.
The staff at the campsite were very friendly and helpful.
We would love to come back!

Super campsite
The site is easy to find. There is ample parking space in front of the site with a caravan trailer. We received a very friendly welcome at reception. All questions were answered in a friendly manner. We drove on the pitch, you didn't need a mover, the pitch was spacious and even, only if you want to... put pegs in the ground, you need decent pegs If you see that as a disadvantage, buy proper pegs and it works very well. The facilities were all very tidy and clean, the sanitary blocks almost like in a hotel. There was a large swimming pool. There was a sauna, and if you then count the price of a sauna against it, you are there almost for nothing in the low season.

Nice location, but still no recommendation
The "old GDR" lives on again here: queues in the sanitary blocks and in front of the sinks, as these are not even close to being sufficient (if the site is not fully occupied, the sanitary blocks are often closed and the walk to the next one is correspondingly long). The sanitary facilities are mostly... clean, the fact that they are often dirty is not due to the operators, but to the clientele - very untypical for campers. Unfriendliness on the part of the staff is the trademark of this campsite - the customer is not king, but clearly a supplicant. Even the most polite questions are answered brusquely and in a commanding tone.
Positive: the pitches offer plenty of space. Each pitch also has partial shade due to the planting. The indoor pool is nicely laid out, but unfortunately the background noise is usually very loud and therefore less inviting to relax. Wednesdays are closing days. Electricity is charged additionally at approx. 60 cents per kw/h. There is no kiosk or similar on the pitch, but the nearest well-stocked EDEKA supermarket is not particularly far away. The location is excellent for cycling tours, there are many beautiful places to discover. However, Zingst and Prerow are very crowded during the vacation season.

Unfortunately, rental bathrooms are not cleaned, we were on the pitch for 10 days, unfortunately the rental bathroom was not cleaned. We have never experienced this before, but a broom and mop were stored in the bathroom. The unpaved paths are sometimes heavily flooded when it rains.
Good but also room for improvement.
We had a great time on the pitch and in the surrounding area.

The ground on the pitches is very hard, but screwing in the pegs worked.

The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and were almost always clean.

The gravel lawn (not on the tent meadow) makes it almost impossible to get a peg into the ground. But you can borrow a hammer drill from reception. Barrier times are not adhered to. You can actually drive in and out at any time
Very relaxed stay
I was already there as a camper in 2020, this time with a caravan.
Pitches are nice and big, I can't understand the bad reviews. We had enough peace and quiet. Only the toilets should be cleaned more often during the vacation season. There was something brown and indefinable stuck to the toilet door and wall all week

No public waste bin on the site, hot water only after 7am and until 8pm...after that it's a matter of luck...not really close to the beach, not recommended for dog owners
Not our place
Actually a quiet place, good sanitary facilities but with unpleasant odors. The showers sometimes smelled worse than an unkempt car wash. There are no waste garbage cans anywhere on the site. You could always take the dog's poop bag for a walk. Staff didn't seem unfriendly, but annoyed. Definitely not... recommended for dog owners as the dog beach is a good 2km away. Packet acceptance cost 1€ per packet. Nothing is free here. Every guest is squeezed for every last cent. The lawn is always mowed when you want to take a nap. Pretty much the worst place we've stayed in recent years. Not a total failure for us, but an experience you can do without.

The only advantage I saw was the restaurant on site.

Poor to no service at all. Massages etc. are only for advertising purposes we received an appointment for a 14 day stay and that in the low season.
Great place worse is never possible
The place has only 2 chemical disposal points for a place the size impossible. The service, if there is one at the reception, is no service. Pure rip-off. We had to leave early there was no alternative to our pitch although there were several free. They didn't even bother to look.
The sanitary facilities... were poorly cleaned.
The indoor pool could only be visited at certain times. The whole place is paved with prohibition and information signs so that nobody has to bother to give information. I have been camping for 40 years and I have never come across a place like this. So for me this place has an overall rating of 1 star if at all.
Pure rip-off. Every service is charged extra. Wonder why the brochures were free of charge. It's not even about the price, it's just about this impersonal you don't feel comfortable and are treated like on a highway rest area where the staff is still friendly towards this place.
It's off the menu for me.
A few kilometers inland there are much better places that I will visit in the future

Whoever checks in has already lost.
Checking in was easy and we booked 3 nights.
In the morning after the first night, we were treated to the sound of engines. Close to our pitch, ride-on lawnmowers arrived to mow the lawn around our pitch, which was still quite short. Unfortunately, this took several hours and culminated in one of the... mowers slaloming around the tree on our pitch, our caravan, the bikes and our car several times. Now we thought to ourselves, ok, a campsite has to be looked after too and set off on a bike tour. On other campsites we know, however, they mow when guests have left and the pitch is free.
The next morning I was woken up at around five o'clock by the muffled sound of a large diesel engine that could be heard for quite a long time. After breakfast, a wheel loader with a platform on its forks appeared near our pitch and started to cut the trees between the pitches with a chainsaw, with the wheel loader's diesel engine running constantly. Fortunately, at 12 o'clock it was lunchtime according to the campsite rules, which should last until 14:00. I thought I could catch up on the sleep I'd missed and went to bed. However, the rest didn't last long because around 13:30, during the midday rest, a vehicle from the campsite drove around our pitch with a squeaking and rattling trailer. When the wheel loader appeared again at 2 p.m. on the dot and the trimming of the trees continued, we decided to break off our stay after just two nights and leave early. Our complaint was accepted at the reception with the statement that this is of course not possible and will be forwarded accordingly, but the Paltz must now be maintained. Despite our complaint, we were charged for a full 3 nights and were also charged. We were speechless.

Summer vacation 2023
Nice clean place had a nice vacation. The only thing we have to criticize is that the use of the showers with slippers should be communicated more strictly or better. Then the showers are cleaner if not everyone goes in with street shoes. Children's entertainment could be better organized, for young and old. The two girls who did this seemed listless.

But on the whole everything was tip-top.
