"Idyllic, relaxed, uncomplicated, close to nature - Very relaxed and natural campsite without a lot of hustle and bustle, but great for young families. Very close to nature and uncomplicated. We spent a great 10 days here.

"Super 3 star campsite - There is a good cafe with milk in front, next to the reception at the bar. You can also play table football there for one euro. (However, it needs to be overhauled) Very friendly staff. The site borders directly on the beautiful river Ardeche. Canoe trips can be booked from the site and you can easily walk to the charming village of Aigueze on the other side of the river. The village of Saint Martin dÁrdeche is also beautiful. We also made a few short videos about it. Under my normal name on Youtube.

"Beautiful location and large pitches, unfortunately old and unclean sanitary buildings - Beautiful location at the end of the Ardeche gorge, i.e. no long and winding drive from the highway. Pool area small but ok. Reception sometimes overwhelmed with the allocation of spaces. If a caravan is parked at the barrier, the entire access road is blocked. No waiting area for trailers (only car parking lot). This often led to problems. The pitches themselves are usually very large. The sanitary buildings are outdated and unkempt. In some cases it is not even possible to choose the temperature of the showers. There is only an on/off push button. A renovation would be urgently needed here. Regular cleaning (not only of the toilet keys, but also around the cubicle) would also go a long way to improving well-being.

"Family camping in a great landscape and with lots of leisure activities - A beautiful, natural campsite for the whole family, located directly on the Ardèche. One advantage of the campsite is its relatively quiet location right at the entrance to the village, although you can quickly reach the small, very pleasant village of St-Martin de Ardèche on foot. The mainly young staff at the campsite reception and in the restaurant are very friendly. The restaurant (free Wi-Fi) and the adjacent small pool are designed in a very natural and friendly way with lots of wood. In the morning, baguettes are offered for sale (pre-order), in the morning there is nice children's entertainment, and in the evening not too loud entertainment with changing cabaret artists. For a good meal, however, it is advisable to go to the town, which is very close by on foot. The restaurant Le Moulin, which is right next to the campsite, is highly recommended for its great view of the Ardèche and the village bridge. There are many tents for rent on the campsite. The pitches for campers are quite large, but some of them are only slightly divided by bushes. Although there are quite a few trees, a large number of pitches lack shade, which can be annoying in midsummer. It was great to see numerous hoopoes, which clearly felt at home on the pitch. The three sanitary facilities are only just adequate when the site is full. Although the site was not completely full, there were often queues for the toilets at peak times in the morning - the same was true for the showers in the evening. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities were well equipped, worked and were sufficiently clean. You can walk directly from the campsite to the banks of the Ardèche (stone beach). Swimming is hardly possible here in summer due to the low water. You have to walk the distance to the next weir. But it is great fun - not just for children - to build dams and water basins with the stones. There is plenty to do from the campsite and the town of St-Martin de Ardèche. Several providers offer canoe trips down the Ardèche. You are taken up the Ardèche with your canoe in a bus from the village and paddle back down the rather long but scenic route through the canyon. There are also various caves (e.g. Grotte de Saint Marcel) to visit, as well as the famous Pont d'Arc (natural stone bridge over the Ardèche). Further afield there is the crocodile farm in Pirrelatte, Cascades du Sautadet and the Pont du Garde. We had a great time and can recommend the campsite.

Profil

At the entrance of Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche, just 200 metres from the town centre, you'll find Camping Huttopia Le Moulin. Here, you'll usually camp on spacious, shady pitches. The campsite has around 200 pitches, more than half of which are for touring …campers. You can come with your own tent or caravan, or choose from various rental options: mobile homes and different types of tents offering various levels of comfort. Plenty of space for everyone The campsite is divided into three areas. There's a dedicated section for tents and smaller caravans, another one for tunnel tents and larger caravan models – and if you’re looking for a wilder experience, you can camp without electricity on the edge of the site. Of course, you’re welcome to bring your own gear, but you can also rent a fixed caravan or tent. For example, you can rent a 4- or 5-person tent, with or without private sanitary facilities. Cool off and enjoy adventure The heated outdoor swimming pool (170 m²) with a separate paddling pool is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer’s day. Prefer natural water over chlorine? Just take a short walk down to the beach on the Ardèche river. It’s ideal for dipping your feet, canoeing or kayaking. And for the brave ones – white-water rafting is also possible here! Fun for all ages At Huttopia Le Moulin, there’s no chance of getting bored. The animation team makes sure both kids and adults have a great time. And when you’re in the mood for an excursion, beautiful towns like Orange and Avignon or natural wonders like the Pont d’Arc are just around the corner.
