A great campground. Peace and relaxation guaranteed. Friendly and helpful owners. The cabin was top-notch—clean, shaded, and well-appointed. The pool was nice, with plenty of lounge chairs for lazy days. We also loved the many areas set up for relaxation. A huge thank you and congratulations to the owners—you’ve created a true little corner of paradise.

Very friendly people, a nice French campground—though it took some getting used to having to walk back across the campground with the toilet paper roll. Beautiful pool, and we really enjoyed our time there. It was especially nice and quiet. A top-notch campground

A small, very quiet, pleasant campground with a warm welcome from the owners. We had a wonderful weekend.

We spent a long weekend with our family in the area for our son’s wedding. The campground is very clean, pleasant, and very well-maintained; the cabins are well-shaded and fully equipped. We were able to enjoy the pool and the many play areas with the kids, and we have fond memories of our meal at the restaurant. The owners are incredibly kind and very attentive, despite their heavy workload. Thanks again to them.

The only thing I'd say is to find a way to deal with the wasps in the wading pool. We had two young children, and there were so many wasps that we couldn't go in there at all.

We had a wonderful stay at Les Lavandes Campground. Our goal was to find a family-friendly campground where we could explore the Ardèche. Mission accomplished! It’s worth noting that we were at the campground during the heat wave of July 2026; thanks to the pool and the cool evening air that sets in early at night—due to Darbres’ location—we were able to enjoy ourselves without suffering from the heat.

It’s a shaded, terraced campground where you immediately feel right at home! The welcome is very warm from the start, and you quickly realize that Marie and David leave nothing to chance: they take excellent care of their campground (layout, maintenance, etc.). The terrace overlooks the beautiful pool (connected by the “Apéro Féerique” path). The atmosphere is peaceful, and the surroundings are magnificent. We can’t wait to go back!

This campground must be one of the best-maintained and most functional ones we’ve stayed at in the southern Ardèche. Everything works perfectly—everywhere, not just in your accommodations. You can really feel the care and attention to detail that go into keeping this place looking so great. A super-friendly little family, attentive to guests and their needs, always available and flexible. A family-run campground just the way we like it—quiet and relaxing.

We changed the sign pointing to the campground in the center of the village. It could be a bit more prominent to better “guide” visitors; when you arrive for the first time in this magnificent village of Darbres, doubt creeps into your mind when the GPS tells you which road to take...

Het is een heerlijke rustige camping met goede schaduwplekken. Het was rond de 30 graden tijdens ons verblijf. Wij hebben genoten van de vriendelijke ontvangst van de eigenaren en van het heerlijke zwembad wat voor de nodige verkoeling zorgde. Het was er schoon en alles wat je nodig heb is er. De sfeer is prettig.

The couple who run the place are very nice and helpful. The burgers were great, and the place was quiet and clean. We'd love to come back and highly recommend Les Lavandes.

First of all, the warm welcome, kindness, and dedication of the entire team. Beautiful, spacious elevated campsites, several places to relax, hammocks, and couches by the pool. Perfect as a starting point for hiking or biking. Too bad the week went by so fast—we’ll have to come back! Thanks again to Marie and David...
