Worst campsite experience ever. We were staying during the off-season (late August).
When we arrived, we were told that everything was closed because it was the off-season.
Because of this, we asked if we could use the BBQ in the campground’s common area; he said, “Yes, of course, that’s always possible.”...

We went to the store to buy chicken, meat, charcoal—everything we needed to make dinner on the BBQ. When I got to the BBQ area, it was locked. I arrived at the front desk at 5:30 PM. No one was there... dead silent. No one was answering the phone.

Even though it said it was open until 6:00 PM during the off-season and 8:00 PM during the high season.
Well, goodbye to €40 worth of meat...
The next day we asked for the keys to the BBQ and asked where it was. But he indicated that it was right there. And here’s the kicker: he gave us the filthiest BBQ tools. Absurd. When we tried to light the BBQ at 7:00 PM, we saw the restaurant open. We felt absolutely unwelcome. And the restrooms also get a 0.0—people just pee on the floor in the showers.

We stayed at this campsite in September 2025 and had a great time. The tent pitches are really big and we were ideally located on the river bank (thank you Eric for the tip by the way). We particularly appreciated the peace and quiet and the omnipresent nature, not forgetting the always spotless sanitary facilities, which is not always the case at .... campsites.

We had a very good stay. There's absolutely nothing to complain about, everything met or exceeded our expectations. We particularly appreciated the aquatic area and the quality of the entertainment. A special mention for the catering, which was way above what you'd expect from a campsite in general. It was a wonderful discovery and we'll be back in 2026 to continue discovering the region, which is absolutely magnificent.

Sanitary facilities were not clean, showers not warm enough, no shopping facilities nearby (apart from a bakery).
Pretty place with weaknesses
The site is located outside the village at the entrance to a small valley, directly on a small river and between two country roads. There are fish ponds right next to it. The spacious pitches are separated from each other by trees, bushes and hedges. We used the campsite for a few days in May as a base... for exploring the surrounding area - the back roads are excellent for cycling. The campsite had obviously only just opened for the new season - the pool was still being cleaned of the winter's dirt. The sanitary facilities, which are not yet old, were unfortunately not as clean as we would have liked - on some days they were not cleaned at all. The water was also not warm enough for showering. However, the operators are extremely helpful and friendly - we were able to borrow a cycling and hiking map and the boss personally drove to the bakery to get us some bread after a misunderstanding meant that none was delivered for us. At weekends, the place is often used by locals - especially motorcyclists - but this was not unpleasant. The only thing that was a little annoying was the noise from the nearby country road, but it was limited at night.

The campsite was our base for excursions in Provence for a few days. Very full in the season, then you only get unkempt pitches on the edge of the site without a reservation. Lots of permanent campers. Nice pool. Free wifi. Spacious and clean sanitary facilities
