Positive ting
Very affordable campground! Electricity included. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean; swimming in the river near the World Heritage Site—great. Large sites and plenty of shade. The pool is a great way to cool off.
Negative ting
The showers are way too hot!!! Restaurant/bistro—well, not really.
I'd love to come back
I'd definitely come back again and again!
It's worth taking trips to the surrounding area, especially to the Friday farmers' market in Uzès.

Top campsite !
A great space for me. It's big but not at all conspicuous. You arrive and choose a pitch. The pitches are in the middle of the forest. You have to be careful that the awning is still out, but it's wonderful to stand between the trees. When you open the door in the morning and hear the birds chirping... and your feet hit the forest floor...... is simply wonderful. You don't really hear any noises because the forest ``swallows'' most of them.
You can walk to the riverbank. There is also a large open meadow where some people have played and camped.
Nearby is the Pont du Gard viaduct. You have to see it. There is a wide river below which is ideal for swimming.
The campsite is about 10 minutes from the highway. So a good stopover if you want to continue to Spain or (like us) are coming from Spain.
There is also a pool with a children's area and a huge sports field. There is also a small shop selling baguettes in the morning. But you have to leave the campsite for real shopping. However, Lidel is nearby, as is a petrol station etc.....

Now to the disadvantages:
The restaurant / bistro. The service is super nice, friendly and attentive. The food was nothing at all.... We had pizza and salad with turkey strips plus an Orangina and two Aperol Spritz for almost 60 euros. The salad would have been a starter salad at my Italian restaurant and cost 17 euros.

Nevertheless, I would go back.

A very nice place to relax
The campsite is a well-managed site, very close to the Pont-du-gard (within walking distance). It has a swimming pool and the possibility of swimming in the river.

Positive ting
The location and size. Ideal with dogs (we were there with 4 huskies)
Large pitches distributed in the forest
The bridge is easily accessible on foot. Further hiking trails or mountain biking to other traces of the aqueduct. Approx. 2km to the village with shopping facilities and really nice side streets. The campsite is nevertheless in a quiet location with large pitches in the forest. Access to the river at the back. Delicious food in the bistro.

Positive ting
Uncomplicated overnight accommodation close to the highway
Ideal place to spend the night facing south or north
Well suited for overnight stays. Distance to the highway about 8km. Sanitary facilities no longer up to date (unisex). Pitch extremely dusty and hard as concrete. Gastronomy so la la and clearly too expensive for what is on offer. Be sure to reserve in August. Place was packed!

Sanitary facilities from the 90s
Suitable for transit
The campsite is beautifully situated by the river, you can walk to the Pont du Gard. Supermarket and restaurant only conditionally recommendable. Sanitary facilities are from the 90s. Suitable for transit, after 19:30 apparently arrival only with reservation in advance.

Positive ting
No shortage of parking spaces due to the natural vegetation
Negative ting
Inadequate site lighting
Natural site next to the Pont du Gard
The pitches, which vary in size, are mostly under trees and only have these as boundaries. There is no gender segregation in the sanitary building. Everything was always clean at the end of March. Baguettes were available to pre-order at the registration desk. Lidl and Carrefour are about 4 km away. The Pont du Gard can be reached on foot in 500 m. A great new cycle path leads to Beaucaire on a former railroad line.

Positive ting
Quiet, beautiful greenery, good cycling and hiking trails, friendly staff, camping sites with and without shade.
Negative ting
Can get very loud during light festivals at the Pont du Gard.
A campsite to slow down.
The campsite is within walking distance of the Pont Du Gard viaduct, a monumental structure that you should visit at least once. the campsite itself is situated on the Gardon river, which is so clean and clear that swimming in the summer is great fun. the nearby town of Remoulins also offers kayak tours... on the Gardon. it is just 50 km to Avignon, my favorite city in France. the campsite itself has a large sports field, a tennis court and a swimming pool.

Sanitary
Beautiful place in the forest
Pitches I like super In the forest between trees, looks a bit wild but nice but not so strict next to each other, you have to drive often between the trees, but there is enough space. The drawback are the sanitary no toilet seats, standing toilets like in the old days in France (but sometimes has advantages) Everything looks pretty outdated, in the sanitary rooms strong smell, showers hot not controllable, do not forget Sagrotan when pooping :-)

Clean pitches and clean sanitary facilities nice store, Pont du Gard within walking distance simply beautiful
Negative ting

Very nice place in the beautiful forest
We were in June on this beautiful place.after checking in we could choose a place (important for large motorhomes and caravans, first go on foot).the place impresses with a clean sanitary facility and a nice pool.in the morning you can also get bread without pre-ordering and the small market has the... most important things.Small restaurant on site.Pont du Gard is a 5-minute walk away.shopping possible 15 minutes by bike. When it rains, the place turns into a swamp and it is advisable to stow all material.electricity columns on site but is partly deducted from other places. 6Amper is not enough for a column for roof air conditioning, etc.. Almost forgot in the pool for men only tight swimming trunks no shorts At the beginning of June big fireworks at the bridge on 2 evenings necessarily reserve a huge spectacle

Nice place
Friendly reception. Store was only open in the mornings were there in low season nearest supermarket about 2-3 km away. Small bistro with take-away dishes, we were there once, my dish came from the freezer and was heated in the microwave, there was still ice cream in the middle of the plate. Beautiful... pitches partly under holm oaks. Sanitary is unisex and has simple facilities and as usual in France WC without seat. Pont du Gard is a few steps away.

Quiet and close to the highway
Nice staff. Probably the best wash house we know in France; clean, UNISEx, but heated shower area !!! There was also a washbasin and soap !!! Great site, wooded area, quiet, walking distance to the Pont du Gard, shopping facilities nearby. Delicious and cheap pizza from the campsite's own restaurant. Only 5 km to the highway.

Positive ting
- Campsite fits wonderfully into the landscape, beautiful beach, very good language skills at reception
Very close to the Pont du Gard - and yet wonderfully quiet
We stayed there for one night on our way back from the south of France (September 3rd). The reception surprised us with a perfect knowledge of German and a shortcut to the PontduGard (but then you can't go to the museum, which we really liked). It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the PdG + 5 to the... museum & Co. Due to the travel time it was already very quiet and you could choose your pitch in peace. All the pitches seemed exceptionally large to me and fit in with the landscape (not the other way around). There is a small store, a restaurant and a swimming pool (always good for the kids).

Positive ting
Great pitches in the middle of nature Beautiful location to the river and the Pont du Gare Nice people and great atmosphere Bread roll service
Negative ting
Sanitary facilities could be renewed and brought up to date. The restaurant still has "room for improvement"
Great camping with small quirks
Great campsite, nice atmosphere thanks to the "natural" and "wild" pitches. Great location by the river and close to the Pont du Gare. We felt very comfortable, although the restaurant still has room for improvement and the (not always clean) sanitary facilities are no longer "state of the art" for four stars.
