We had a very pleasant stay at this campsite. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The pitches are a good size. The whole site is clean and well-kept.
We also liked the small food events in the evening. The small indoor pool is a nice addition, especially in bad weather. The baguette service in... the morning is also practical.

The only point of criticism: Unfortunately, the ACSI card is not accepted or taken into account when booking online. A corresponding option would be desirable here.

Overall, a recommendable campsite with good facilities and friendly service.

Unfriendliness and incompetence of the staff
Disappointing weekend
We only arrived on Friday instead of Thursday and we were charged for the entire day we had booked. That's ok.
On Saturday morning a huge branch fell on our tent. Thank goodness nobody was in the tent at the time. The campsite management neither apologized nor asked how we were, they just cleared it... away. We asked if we could change pitches as we felt unsafe camping under the tree with the children for another night. They reacted stroppy, rejected any blame and basically blamed us because we had refused to book a mobile home on Friday for €400 extra... No concessions, not even when asked. We felt very let down and it was definitely our last visit to this campsite.
The sanitary facilities were only cleaned once a day, which is simply not enough when fully occupied.

The Cp is on the edge of town and therefore relatively quiet.
The French campsites close the reception at midday. Here it is possible to register via a QR code and you will be sent a 4-digit code for the barrier. Bread roll service available. Beautiful pitches, but the most beautiful are for the Wowa... caravans. Only a few pitches are level. Small playground for children, a small swimming pool. Clean sanitary facilities. On certain days, itinerant traders come by and offer their wares for sale. The regional delicacies were very good.

We have been to this campsite several times.
The excursion destinations are perfect.
Cycling is great fun here.
The shopping facilities are very good. Saverne is a very interesting town.
No German is spoken at reception.
The pitches for WOMO are ok.
The lawn had not been mowed for a long time. Our very large pitch had to be cleaned of dog excrement first.

Beautiful, quiet campsite
We were there for 5 nights, unfortunately the owners don't speak German and only very rudimentary English, but they were very nice. ------ Good, relatively new sanitary facilities, which were mostly very clean.----- Nice parceled out pitches, but we would have preferred a few more hedges. ----- The swimming... pool is relatively small, but was ok. There was a swimming pool disco one evening which was well attended. It would be desirable if the swimming pool rules were better enforced. ---- There is a bread roll service with advance payment, and a small bar was open on several evenings. On another evening, a small market was set up, with wine tasting, tarte flambée trolley, sausage and vegetable stall, which we found very nice. ----- Good places to eat out

Camping to feel good
Were here at the end of April. The camping site - like apparently all campsites in Alsace - is at the top of the hill. The entrances to the pitches are sometimes a bit narrow, you may have to maneuver quite a bit. Ramps are also necessary on most of the pitches, otherwise you'll be standing on a sloping... surface. It is about 2 km to the town and the canal. The cycle path along the canal is well developed. It is worth cycling as far as the Saint-Louis/Arzviller boat lift. There is also a cycle path along the old disused section of the canal that should not be missed. The cycle path in the other direction is also well developed. It's also great that you can quickly reach the circular hiking trail to the Haut-Barr castle ruins from the campsite. There is also a riding stables next to the campsite. The reception was very friendly and the sanitary facilities were clean. The showers had plenty of hot water (no choice of temperature). There is toilet paper and soap in the sanitary area. The swimming pool is quite small, but was always well attended and the children seemed to have had fun - what more could you want. We felt very comfortable here.

Simple, well-kept place that is getting on in years
We used the site for transit, as Strasbourg and Molsheim were full. The site is located behind a residential area, but is quiet. The pitches are large and clean, water is available nearby. The reception with store is simple and small, there is no catering itself, there is a food truck on the meadow where... there is wine and barbecues. The sanitary facilities are dated, but clean. A bit of paint and minor work and the building would be attractive again. There are still leisure facilities on site, such as a playground, boules court, etc. The site was perfectly ok for an overnight stay, but would not be suitable for longer periods.

Pleasant stay
I am a cyclist and was delighted with the large camping meadow with picnic tables. Very friendly staff. Supermarket and old town within walking distance. I used the stay for a city tour of Strasbourg (very good train connections). Alsatian onion tart from the van in the evening.

Beautiful and well-kept campsite
We have stayed at the campsite several times (with a tent) as we like to go climbing in the region. The staff were always friendly and the pitch was large and pleasant. The sanitary facilities may not be up to date, but they are always clean. Bread, rolls and baguettes can be ordered the evening before... and are delicious. The supermarket is easily accessible by car and well stocked. It is very quiet at night and we generally found the campsite relaxing. We will continue to go there and can highly recommend the campsite.

Quietly located parking space above Saverne, approx. 30 min walk to the center. When approaching, it's better to trust the signs than the satnav, which led us through some traffic-calmed zones. Very friendly staff, large pitches. Unfortunately, only one sanitary building is currently in use, so it was... always quite a long walk to get there. The covered and heated swimming pool is certainly the highlight for children. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants on the site or nearby.

Quiet and scenic place in Saverne
The site is approx. 2 km from the center on foot. Saverne is a beautiful town with a great cycle path along the Canal. The campsite is very clean and quiet, almost in a park-like area. You can buy everything in the center of Saverne. There is also a supermarket near the campsite.
