Open-air camping, very friendly and cozy. Electricity and showers included. The bike path starts right at the campground.

A very cozy spot right on the North Sea–Baltic Canal
A beautiful place—we'll definitely be back!
Just be a little careful when pulling in with a trailer.

Positive ting
Small but nice campsite with very friendly owners. You can choose your own pitch.

Small but nice
Small campsite with very friendly owners. You can choose your own pitch.
Very clean sanitary facilities.
The North Baltic Canal is just behind the site and canal path. Ships can be heard all day and all night and can sometimes be seen from the pitch.
Nearby a highway bridge (A23) but have not noticed... on the second.
Many sights within a radius of 100km (Brunsbüttel with the lock, Kiel also with lock, Hamburg, Friedrichskoog with seal station and, and, and)
Camping the way we like it.
We will be back

Contemplative
Small campsite with around 50 pitches, most of which are for permanent campers. It is advisable to call in advance to see if there is still a pitch available. It is a flat meadow area without its own trees with large pitches, roughly parceled out with wooden stakes. The sanitary facilities are simple... and clean. The highway, which is set back from the site, can only be heard quietly. All in all, a very nice place to relax. The NOK is only a few steps away. In about 300 meters, straight down from the site, is a bistro/snack bar/cafe called Kanal 33, where you can sit comfortably with an unobstructed view and eat and drink snacks. We were there for three days in the rain and still loved it.

Simple, quiet CP in a top location
We spent 3 nights at this beautifully situated campsite. The host family is very friendly and helpful. The site itself has basic sanitary facilities, but they were always clean. A restaurant is within walking distance and you can get bread rolls in the town 2 km away. Despite being close to the highway,... the site is totally quiet. The highlight, however, is the direct location on the NOK. The large ships can be seen from the pitch. We will definitely be back.

Positive ting
Watching large pots pass by from your bed or breakfast table.
Negative ting
There were none for us.
Simple but top
Can only confirm what everyone has written. We felt very comfortable. The pitches are huge, the sanitary facilities are clean and functional. The W-lan works on the whole site. Mr. Büttner helped us set up our new awning. We will definitely be back.

wonderful place directly on the NOK
We have been here five times, not just for a short vacation but for a longer period of time. Ideal for people who want peace and quiet. The Büttner family is always friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. Also perfect for dog owners, good walks along the canal, we will gladly come here again and again. LG. Positive ting
Small cozy place, quiet location, directly on the NOK canal, super nice operator,
Negative ting
For those who should attach importance to it on vacation, the mobile Internet is not so great at the moment.
You simply have to go here
A very nice little campsite that can easily keep up with any other. Relaxation guaranteed. The surrounding sights can be reached by bike or car, and the coast is not far away for day trips. The site itself is very clean, quiet and your four-legged friends are also welcome (on a lead, of course, like... everywhere else). The sanitary facilities are clean and invite you to take a shower. Sinks are available for washing up. Disposal for chemical toilets is available. I am a regular customer because I meet with part of the family at least once a year on this site and always like to come here.

Campsite directly on the NOK (Kiel Canal) Some noise from the ships and nearby highway. Good cycling opportunities along the canal. Very cheap. We have been coming there for several years.
