Steph R.september 2026Positive tingBeautiful, peaceful location on a lovingly designed farm Great views and beautiful scenery Very clean and well-maintained Designed with great attention to detail Lovely play barn for children Hot tub available Beautiful fire pit Very pleasant atmosphere Especially suitable for families and nature loversNegative tingUnfortunately, we found communicating with the hostess to be very unpleasant. From our perspective, criticism was expressed in a very accusatory and personal tone. We found the terms “ruthless,” “selfish,” and “ungrateful” to be inappropriate. In cases of uncertainty, we would have preferred a more objective and friendly exchangeA beautiful courtyard—unfortunately, with a disappointing endingOverall, we really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farm. We were truly impressed by the location, the view, and the lovingly designed grounds. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the play barn and hot tub are great extras, especially when traveling with children. You can tell that a lot... of heart and hard work has gone into this place.
Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a situation with the hostess that was very unpleasant for us. After we had asked in advance if we could use the fire pit and were told we could, a lengthy conversation ensued the next day in which we were accused, among other things, of being inconsiderate, selfish, and ungrateful. It wasn’t the request itself that was the problem for us—we would have followed clear rules at any time—but rather the way it was communicated.
It’s a shame, because precisely because we liked the farm and the grounds so much, we would have preferred a different approach. Nevertheless, we’d like to give credit where it’s due: the place itself is truly beautiful, and you can tell how much love has gone into it.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. My only minor request: Some parents could keep a closer eye on their children. Especially in the play barn, it was occasionally evident that the furnishings and play equipment were suffering from the boisterous behavior of older children. The family that runs the campground is very attentive, but of course they can’t be everywhere at once.A Heartwarming, Family-Friendly Camping Vacation in the Salzburg RegionWe spent two and a half weeks as a family camping at this campground and had an absolutely wonderful time. We’d especially like to highlight the exceptionally warm, family-like atmosphere. When we needed help during a stormy, severe weather situation, we received immediate, warm, and unpretentious assistance....
The campground’s manageable size fosters a real sense of community. People help one another, the children quickly find playmates, and they can play freely in a safe environment.
The family that runs the campground is exceptionally friendly and dedicated. Our son was allowed to help out in the barn in the mornings and learned a lot in the process. They also helped us out effortlessly whenever we needed suggestions for day trips or restaurant reservations.
The offerings for families and children are impressive: a play barn, animals, pizza-grilling facilities, an ice cream stand, a beverage fridge, and many other thoughtful touches ensure that boredom never sets in.
For us, the location was ideal. By car, you can quickly reach numerous attractions in the Salzburg region and make the most of the benefits of the Salzburg Land Card. At the same time, the campground offers peace and quiet, nature, and a phenomenal view of the mountain landscape.
Clean restroom facilities are always particularly important to us, and our expectations were fully met in this regard as well. We felt completely at home. There’s even one little thing we still miss now that we’re back home: the excellent fresh mountain water that comes straight from the tap there.
For families who appreciate nature, hospitality, and a personal atmosphere, we can wholeheartedly recommend this campground. We’d love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Kids can play all day long—whether with pedal cars, bicycles, or in the play barn; on the trampoline, in the pool, in the ball pit, or playing air hockey. For kids up to age 14 (rough estimate), there’s something for everyone. It’s... also always nice to feed the animals in the morning.
This gives parents some wonderful quiet time—moments when they can simply watch their children, since everything is located on a very manageable grounds and the whole place exudes a sense of calm.

Great daytime activities in the area Great hiking options right from the campsiteNegative tingNothing!Amazing campgroundWe were very curious and eager to see the campsite, as we had read all the wonderful reviews. But honestly, it was even better than we expected. The family has thought of every little detail. Our children loved cuddling the little rabbits, playing in the indoor play stable, hiking to the Riesler Alm, and all the friends we made. We enjoyed the views, cooking by the pool, and warming up in the sauna on rainy days. Truly a terrific vacation.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Jan S.juli 2026Positive tingWe especially liked the location and the pleasant atmosphere.Negative tingThe Hacksteiners are doing a great job. Everything was great for us.Mountains, nature, children's laughter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A true family paradise!
We had a wonderful summer vacation at the Oberhasenberghof with the Hacksteiner family. Even the view of the mountains from our campsite was simply magnificent and delighted us anew every morning. 🏔️
Our kids had a blast thanks to all the great play options and were... kept perfectly occupied. We especially loved the evenings around the campfire, where the kids made new friends in no time. 🔥
A huge shout-out goes to the Hacksteiner family: incredibly kind, warm, courteous, and always willing to help. You can tell right away that they truly live by a spirit of service and that guest satisfaction comes first.
In our opinion, the 5 stars are absolutely well-deserved! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's simply one of the best campgrounds, especially for families.Tent VacationIt’s one of the best family campgrounds we’ve ever experienced (we’ve been visiting at least three campgrounds every season for the past three years). It’s super laid-back, very quiet, and—thanks to the small number of guests—has a very family-friendly atmosphere, with no through traffic, meaning no... guests just passing through. Anyone who comes here wants to unwind and relax. The campground owners are very friendly; they help you choose activities (and there’s plenty of informational material available) and will even lend a hand if you break a tent pole. We (a family of four, with two boys aged 3 and 7) really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!

Qusai A.mai 2026Positive tingBeautiful location in the mountains with wonderful views. Very child friendly - our three daughters had fun every day. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and you immediately notice that a lot of value is placed on families here. There is so much for children to discover and experience that they never get bored.
