Leo K.august 20265.0Leo K.august 2026Positive tingSurrounded by nature—uniquely located right next to the ski lift, yet still close to town Bathroom facilities—very modern and clean Bread roll serviceNegative ting-Great spot in a fantastic location—surrounded by greenery, right by the ski lift, and close to townWe stayed there in our RV this time and were once again completely satisfied! We’d camped at this campground once before. The location is perfect—you can hop on your mountain bike or go for a hike right from the campground, yet you’re still just a short ride from the town center. The modern and always... clean restroom facilities are especially great. We took advantage of the bread delivery service this time—a great way to start the day. We’d love to come back!Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0SB

We received a friendly welcome and our request for a pitch on the motorhome site was met.
The wash house is modern, very spacious and always clean.
The bread rolls on site are very tasty.
The W-LAN can be received well everywhere (full deflection!).
There is a ski rental and a chairlift right next to the campsite.
We really liked it again, we will definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt.1 camper syntes denne evalueringen var nyttig. - 4.0
Carsten L.desember 20244.0Carsten L.desember 2024Positive ting- Great location near the piste, lift, hut and town - Clean and modern sanitary facilities - Friendly service - Large pitches on the top terrace for motorhomes and caravans - Food / drink and fresh bread rolls in the immediate vicinity of receptionNegative ting- Limited infrastructure at the motorhome site. (no fresh water) - Water tends to stand at the site in winter, after rain when temperatures are above zero.Friendly service. right on the slopes and central to the city centerWe have been coming here for years
because of the central location to the ski slope and the great friendly service and the good soul Marion at the reception. The sanitary facilities are first class and always clean. In winter, you stand together on the motorhome pitches with motorhomes and caravans. There are many regular guests here during the season and the pitches are often fully booked a year in advance around Christmas/New Year.Automatisk oversatt.1 camper syntes denne evalueringen var nyttig. - 5.0DVDaniela V.mars 20245.0DVDaniela V.mars 2024Positive tingFriendliness Location of the pitch Wash houseNegative tingNoneGreat weekendI would like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff ...Our booking process went more than great... we had booked and I had to cancel two days before because our host was sick... on the phone we tried to find a solution... FREE rebooking because it was possible... if the weekend had not gone on yes... then I would have just paid the cancellation fees... completely normal... TOP 🔝
About the campsite... located directly on the ski slope... you can be in the city center in 10 minutes on foot.
The wash house is awesome... an absolute oasis of well-being... and also very well maintained 🔝
We felt very well looked after. Thank you, we will be backAutomatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 1.0LGL G.juli 20231.0LGL G.juli 2023Positive tingNone. Have no chance to enjoy it.Negative tingCancellation conditions.Do not bookAll campers who want to book here in advance should be aware of this site's abusive cancellation policy.
If you can avoid booking, do so, it's simply a trap to get money from customers or, if you're lucky, from your travel insurance. Cancellations are as follows:
- 30€ no matter when you cancel, it's... a flat rate.
- 50% or at least 50€ if you cancel between 60 and 30 days in advance.
- 100% if you cancel 29 days in advance.
These conditions are non-negotiable and are changed by the campsite in advance, which makes them a possible unfair term within the meaning of EU Directive 31993L0013.
For this reason, a pitch can be rented several times for the same period, giving the campsite a good income without doing anything. Be aware that the weather in this area is very unpredictable, and cancellations due to bad weather are very likely.
Raise your voice if you also have this problem, otherwise they will continue this practice.Automatisk oversatt.1 camper syntes denne evalueringen var nyttig. - 4.0ABAnja B.juni 20234.0ABAnja B.juni 2023Positive tingGreat, spotlessly clean wash house Nice staff Large pitchesNegative tingPlace (A) was not illuminated at night No bread service (baker was on vacation)Beautiful campsite, super great sanitary facilitiesIt was our first time at this campsite and we were impressed by the great, clean sanitary facilities.
Our pitch was spacious and there were plenty of water taps nearby.
Unfortunately, the bakery was on vacation, so there was no bread delivery service. The nearest bakery was 5 minutes away by bike and... a good 10 minutes on foot.
The campsite was not lit at night. However, the receptionist said that there should actually be some lights on at night...
Unfortunately there's no restaurant nearby, but it's not far to the center of Winterberg. There's plenty of choice here.
All in all, we liked it very much.
In winter, the location right next to the ski lift is unbeatable.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0

Benjamin D.februar 20204.0Benjamin D.februar 2020Positive tingDirectly at the ski area, top sanitary facilitiesNegative tingNo shopping facilities directly on siteCampsite right next to the chairlift to the Winterberg ski carouselNice campsite right next to the Winterberg ski area. Ski rental, ski ticket sales etc. directly at the campsite. New sanitary building unusually tasteful and generously designed, very clean. This is really top! A bit busy during the day on winter weekends due to the direct location next to the ski area.... Overall, the place is rather confusing due to the special location. However, perfect for a weekend skiing vacation. Restaurant right on site, but unfortunately no shopping facilities for food. However, the nearest supermarkets can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The new Sani Haus is really great - every age group has been catered for. The cleaning ladies were the real stars - great work. Even though the showers were in use until midnight, my family didn't see any dirt as they were all clean in the... morning. As there was a bike festival in Winterberg at the time, there were a lot of mountain bikers there. In the evening we could still sleep great, clear laughter but no unpleasant noise, bread rolls could be ordered. Quick access to the town in about 15 minutes on foot - the Rotharsteig is right on the square with great places to stop for refreshments. we will be back ;-) The friendliness of the team and the hard work must be rewarded.Automatisk oversatt.1 camper syntes denne evalueringen var nyttig.
- 4.0MRMarc R.januar 20194.0MRMarc R.januar 2019Positive tingFriendly staff, top location, very clean and modern sanitary facilities.Negative tingSignposted reception, parking facilities for check-in.Brilliant location for a winter vacationContrary to other reviews, the staff were very friendly, only the approach is difficult, as the sign that you should park in the ski rental parking lot and register is barely visible. This is also usually overcrowded with skiers. Many vacationers are looking for the reception and a place to stop. The... sanitary building is second to none in terms of cleanliness and condition, rarely seen such clean facilities. The walk there is not too far either. The center of Winterberg is within easy walking distance. The site is in an ideal location with direct access to the ski lift.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!

Price-performance ratio was not right at all. Toilets and showers locked.never here again! The campsite we booked was on a gravel site right next to the road. Everything was very cramped. The reception was very unfriendly and the lady at reception was clearly disorganized, although we had made a reservation in advance. We paid a total of €67 for 2 people for the two nights. We were not given a breakdown of how this very different price came about compared to the cost breakdown on the website. This campsite is a pure rip-off.
