Electricity is always billed, but it rarely even reaches the power poles. The electrical connections date back to the 1950s. The restrooms in the back area also date back to the 1960s, and there are far too few of them for the number of sites.
Bottom line: Prices are at a 5-star level, but the facilities are more like 1 to, at most, 2 stars....

Wow! What a great place…truly dog-friendly (our four-legged friends are welcome) and family-friendly.
The staff is super friendly, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff!

Everything is very clean! The laundry rooms are very clean.

And of course, the view is a dream!

We were there over Whitsun.
It's a nice place in itself, there's plenty of food, ice cream, cocktails and programs.
Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not particularly good. From toilets smeared with feces (which is due to the guests), to cold showers because there was no hot water for whatever... reason. Some of the toilets in the entire sanitary
the toilets did not flush.
It was clear that the site would be fully booked at Whitsun. Unfortunately, the grass on the pitches was so high that it tickled our calves.
At the kebab stand, the waste water simply runs down the street. As a result, there are smelly leftovers from washing up in the gutter.

The price of the place is in the upper range.
It was a one-off visit for us.

Great place with new wash houses
We will definitely be back. Were there over Easter, nice with Easter fire and other activities were offered. The place was quite full, but you couldn't feel it. Minimarket range is sufficient, prices ok.
Electricity and wifi perfect. Toilets and showers cleaned several times a day. TOP you can't complain.... Restaurant has reopened or probably new tenant. Didn't run smoothly but the schnitzel was really good. Recommendable and in a few weeks the staff has settled in. Please give the tenants a chance.
The place was really quiet from 11.00 pm.

Super nice campsite
We were warmly welcomed and the pitch was exactly as we had imagined. Direct view of the lake. We had already been able to book it online beforehand, which was very easy with a direct choice of pitch. We, two adults with a child and dog, arrived with a motorhome. As it is currently not in season, it... was very quiet and wonderful to relax. There are various seating areas around the lake with a direct view of the lake.
The sanitary facilities were heated and very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Attention! Do NOT pay attention to comments, check other forums.

Contrary to the other review, I am simply blown away.
By far the best place in Germany in terms of staff, professionalism, price and facilities, period.

After an overheard conversation, it turned out that former permanent campers (had... to leave because the site was built improperly and the operator was attacked) deliberately set themselves the task of damaging the operator with false reviews. So please be careful which reviews you trust...

Advantages: beautiful lake, green all around, many excursion possibilities, large pitches, entertainment

Disadvantages:
- At short notice we were suggested a change of pitch in favor of other guests. We agreed by telephone, but unfortunately the new pitch was... not ideal. Very impractical, sloping, so pitching the tent was a real challenge.
- Few sanitary facilities, long distances to the toilet
- Very dirty and cramped toilets
- The entire infrastructure is very old and in need of renovation
- As the campsite is right on the road, it is very noisy and you can't get used to it.
- Very expensive mini market, you could almost go broke

Conclusion: Too expensive and unfortunately this was our last stay at this campsite.

Little choice of food on the square. The "kebab stand" was not too good. Cheeseburgers were served without cheese.
Super place
The site was very well maintained and everything was clean. There were lots of other young people on the group meadow with whom you could do lots of things.
In addition, the night watchmen and the security guard Drini were super helpful, understanding and humorous.
We will definitely be back.

Wir waren lange Jahre Stammgast auf diesem Platz. Es war die Auszeit vom Alltag und nur wenig entfernt von unserem Wohnort. Beim Aufbau hat der Urlaub begonnen. Aber seit dem Betreiberwechsel ist hier nichts mehr wie es war. Alle Dauercamper weg, auf Familienwiesen nachts laute Musik, überwachungskameras... an den Sanitärgebäuden, kaum Kinder und ein Preis der dem ganzen nicht gerechtfertigt ist. Jegliche schlechte Kommentare auf der FB Seite werden umgehend gelöscht.
Die Chefin geht am normalen Badestrand mit dem Hund ins Wasser, dem Gast, sollte er gleiches tun, wird direkt mit sofortiger abreise gedroht..
Wir werden so schnell nicht wiederkommen, schade!

Very friendly check-in. Reasonably sized pitches.
There is a great program for families. Lots of attractions for children.
The lake is very idyllic.
On Ascension Day (Father's Day) there was a lot going on, many groups with campfires and music... but never unpleasantly loud. The toilets and wash houses... were always clean and tidy.

The main road passing by is clearly audible, but it depends on where you are on the site.
In general, there are too few toilets / wash houses in the meadow area when the site is full.
My only real criticism:
The washing up areas are fitted with automatic taps.
This is very annoying because 1. there isn't really any hot water available and 2. they don't work properly.

Great campsite!
Overall a very nice campsite around a lake.
Clean sanitary facilities (free of charge), friendly staff and great pitches on the Eder or by the lake.
Mini market with a good range of goods, restaurant and two snack carts on the site. There is also a small "beach bar".
WLAN reception (free) not quite as... stable and cell phone reception very variable.
Children, dogs and families are noticeably welcome here.
Overall, very friendly treatment on the premises.
We were only there for two nights with our motorhome to get to know the site and were really happy.
We will now definitely be going to the Teichmann camping and vacation park on the Eder more often.
Highly recommended!

Our sanitary building 2 is fairly new. The site has lots of leisure activities for young and old in the high season. In the low season it is a little quieter but there is plenty for children to do and play. The CampingButler, which cleans your toilet cassette for 1 €. Very nice cleaning staff

Great campsite with a good location on the river Eder
A great campsite all round. The river Eder is right next to the campsite. On the other side of the campsite you can go hiking. The site is very dog-friendly. We had our dog with us and there were no problems at all with other dogs or their droppings. There was also no constant barking from dog owners.... There is a large playground for children by the lake, for example. Teenagers can do archery. I looked at wash house 1, 2 and 3 on site after some criticism. All were always clean. Are cleaned regularly. Yes, when a wash house was cleaned, they still let me in. You can shower later if the area is cleaned. Wash house 1 is old but still clean. Two seems to be very new. There was no bad air during our stay there. Washing machines can be used a few times free of charge with the check card. The CampingButler, which cleans your toilet cassette, is also great. Costs 1 €. Can also be operated with the card. Yes, depending on where you are, you can hear the main road. But that didn't bother us. And we're not used to the noise of the main road.

We were on site for 5 nights , had a place directly on the main path behind us a campsite . No shade, much too crowded or there were too many people in a confined space, so that the sanitary buildings were not sufficient. The positive thing was that you could wash and dry your clothes and it was included... in the price. We were looking forward to a cozy evening in the restaurant Seeblick, well self-service with snack charm at restaurant prices and even cleaning the tables was announced, orders were taken in the house at the counter, you got a beeper that reported that it can be fetched. This is not what you should call a restaurant, I understand something else. In general it was very loud on the campsite, young people were already running around the site early with alcohol or left their empty drinks cans / bottles on the playground and beach. For dogs there was a very small section for swimming, no possibility to have an area with your dog where you can let it run (dog meadow) which was a pity, because many with dogs were on site and the section dog beach is too small. We will not come again.

Beautiful campsite
It was our first time on the course, the idea of the VIP check-in is great, and we made use of it. But what we didn't like at all was the fact that one of the team members called you a complete idiot who "you have to show where to queue at registration"...
At that time we had already been registered... for 4 days and could drive onto the site without any problems, the barrier always opened. On the 5th day, however, we arrived at the barrier at around 2:15 pm and naturally drove past on the left, as we did NOT have to register. The barrier stayed down. Ok, I said to my wife, it will probably go up again at 2.30pm because of the lunch break. We stood there and waited, it was 2.35 pm, the barrier remained stubbornly down. Then the "very friendly" employee came and told us to "queue up to sign in". He was right... "Just drive to the side to make it easier for sensible campers"... HOW, when there's a row of cars behind you? The competent employee must have overlooked it... When I replied that we had been registered for 4 days, I was told that the camera would have recognized you and the barrier would have gone up. We drove back again (if the queue behind us allowed it). NOTHING happened. Then the super tip: "then please hold your chip card up to the reader"... It was in the caravan because the camera is supposed to recognize our license plate... In the meantime, the other campers behind us wanted to drive in, so they were gracious enough to open the barrier... So, technology is good if it works AND the staff can operate it. All in all, we liked the campsite as such. However, as we don't need to be made such a fool of for the money we paid, we will certainly neither visit this campsite again nor recommend it to others.

Very large campsite with large pitches. However, the sanitary facilities are outdated and far too small. The same price is charged for group pitches as for parceled out pitches, even though you sometimes need 50m of power cable and the walk to the next shower is no less than 5-10 minutes. All in all, far too expensive for an outdated site. We will not be back.
