Positive ting
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bus shuttle to Fiesole to continue from there with line 7 to the city of Florence. Very uncomplicated. The restaurant served delicious food and you could buy bread rolls in the morning.

The sanitary facilities very old but clean. The access from the main road with a sharp left turn difficult. We pitched with the motorhome

At reception, English is sometimes difficult to understand

The connection with nature. Unconventional and therefore quiet and relaxing with a unique view. The free daily shuttle to the market square in Fiesole and the proximity to Florence are a special bonus. Simply a great campsite.

Cleanliness of the toilets and showers, breakfast provision, commitment of the restaurant team.

Separate room for chemical toilet disposal (now right next to the washing-up area). At least one drinking water tap on the individual terraces.

Approach and the dirty pitches

We stayed here for 1 night and it was a horror. We called in advance and were told the place costs 45 euros but we paid 54 and arrived so late that we took the place anyway. The driveway is extremely steep in the rain with the caravan dangerous with 16% gradient. The pitch was filthy and the showers... were dirty and partly broken. The pizzas sucked the first one was burnt I didn't take it the 2nd pizza was half done and there was a lump of cheese in the middle and the ham was only on one side and not salted. The waitress smirked when serving the pizza and even took a taste of the black burnt blister from the old pizza and said i Like theese so we were really screwed. There was even an argument when we paid because we had to pay for one of the 2 pizzas even though I didn't eat it.
Never again on this disgusting mountain campsite
Also the advertising you can see over the whole of Florence is not true because huge trees obscure the view.
The staff are totally unfriendly !!! 😡

Very difficult approach
After 10 km across Florence, you drive through a mountain village with very narrow roads. The last 500 meters are so steeply uphill that we almost didn't make it up with our Skoda with 176 HP and a Fendt 445.
The pitch with a view that we had requested when we made our reservation was only given to us... after we complained on the 2nd day.
The sanitary facilities are clean but old, cold, musty and sometimes there's only cold water.
The restaurant and supermarket were not open. After a 30 minute walk you can get everything in the village.

Beautiful location in the town of Fiesole above Florence. Great views of Florence from some parts of the campsite.

Difficult access for larger caravans. Some very steep paths within the campsite to the pitch for caravans. The sanitary facilities are quite outdated.

The site is partly terraced. We got a pitch in the lower area. The path to the pitch is extremely steep for a caravan. If you want to go back up, you have to make sure you don't come to a standstill.... Starting off again on this steep path would be impossible and would cause the clutch to burn out. I sent my son ahead of me so that no one would drive down the path at the same time and I could get up the path in one go.
The sanitary facilities are quite outdated.

PS: We were there in the high season, as we were dependent on school vacations. You have to realize that Florence and the area is extremely crowded then.

Great view
This site is recommended because of its great view of Florence. However, the access road is a bit steep and winding. Overall, the site and the sanitary facilities in particular would benefit from renovation. They are a bit outdated, but clean. You can take a shuttle bus from the campsite to the bus stop... in Fiesole and then take the city bus down the winding road to Florence. There are always beautiful views of the city. You can also walk from the campsite to the bus stop along a beautiful panoramic path, which takes about 25 minutes. We received a very friendly welcome in German at reception.
