"Über Stadt und Atlantik in der Bucht von Biskaya - Wir haben spontan Anfang September vor Ort einen Platz für eine Woche gebucht. Sehr freundlicher Empfang (Spanisch, Englisch oder Französisch; etwas deutsch). Stellplätze durch Hecken getrennt. Teilweise stehen „Bungalows“ auf der Anlage (m.E. Ist das kein Camping mehr) -stört aber nicht weiter. Internationale Besucher, aber auch viele Spanier (was aus meiner Sicht sehr positiv für den Platz spricht). Zum Strand nimmt man am Besten ein Fahrrad mit (ca. 8 Minuten). Es stehen im Ort Zumaia 2 sehr schöne Strände zur Verfügung. Beide verfügen jeweils über ein Café/Bar und Duschen am Strand. Wir kommen gern wieder!

"Guter Zwischenstopp - Ziemlich abseits gelegen - für Fußkranke ist der Weg ins Dorf nicht zu empfehlen. Restaurant ok, aber Jugendherbergsangebot... Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen, freundliches Personal. Schöne Aussicht.

"Guter Ausgangspunkt für das Baskenland - Hier ist alles neu, schöne Stellplätze, neues sauberes Sanitärgebäude, saubere Abwasch, ein kleines Restaurant, meistens freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Anlage liegt auf einem Hügel über dem Ort, sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen Fußweg zum Bahnhof und Bus nach San Sebastian (ca 10 Minuten). In den Ort selbst geht man 20 bis 25 Minuten. Hier gibts einige sehr gute Lokale, interessante geologische Formationen, einen Sandstrand, traumhafte Wellen und Wandermöglichkeiten

"not to recommend - We actually planed to stay for two nights but decided within the first day to stay only one because it took only one day to visit everything of interest within and around the town. So when I went to the reception I was told I could not get the money for the second night back due to a change in the cashier system two weeks ago. So there was no way for a storno! I must say I did not believe the unfriendly man at the reception. Therefore we finally paid a double price for an already expensive night (28 Euro for mid season without electricity, which would have cost another 5,50 € per day). And the pool area was also still closed. The camping side is located on a hill in the industrial areas which does not really disturb. But there is almost no shade on the place. Beside all that there is nothing to do on the campsite. Only the sanitary facilities are modern and absolutely clean. Result: We can not recommend this place.

"trato penoso - Voy a compartir mi penosa visita en este camping familiar, después de hacer reserva y confirmar que podían ser 2 o 3 noches y pagar 1 por adelantado, cuando llegamos nos obligaban hacer 3 y que si queríamos irnos antes era nuestro problema. Haciendo el cheking mi hijo pequeño de 6 años se hizo daño en su instalación un parque con colchonetas elasticas, le pedí hielo y me dijo que el no era una farmacia de muy malas maneras que no me podía dar una aspirina y tuve que comprar una bolsa de hielo 2,5 € me cobro, O sea de camping familiar tiene poco si no puede dar unos mínimos auxilios ya que me dijo que el vendía vendas betadine pero que no podía dar nada.. alucinante!!! Con toda esta situación tensa nos dijo que por derecho de admisión nos hechaba del camping a las 9 de la noche un 18 de agosto todo lleno de gente y sin ningún camping mas. Pusimos denuncia por supuesto y nos dijeron que era un hombre muy grosero y sin escrupulos. Cuando vino la policia increpo diciendo que mi hijo con el pie como una pelota había salido saltando de su oficina que no estaba tan malo y vio que salía el mayor de vehículo y les aviso para que lo miraran que no tenia nada, cuando el pobre lo saque cogido en brazos y no podía apoyar ya que al volver a Tarragona de noche fuimos a urgencias y tenia un esguince en el pie. Nos tuvimos que ir llegando a las 5 de la mañana a nuestra casa desmoralizados por esta mala persona. DESPUES DE HECHARNOS DE MALAS MANERAS NO NOS ABONO NI LA RESERVA, ES UN LADRON, SE QUEDO CON NUESTRO DINERO!!!! LA POLICIA NOS ENSEÑO DOS ZONAS DE CAMPER EN EL MISMO POLIGONO DONDE ESTA EL CAMPING Y EL ZONA NAUTICA SIN PROBLEMA!!!! NO LE RECOMIENDO A NADIE EL TRATO CON ESTE SEÑOR!!!!!!

"Ja und Nein... - Wir waren als Familie mit Hund im August 2016 für einige Nächte Camping Zumaia. Top und Note 1 gibt es für die Sanitäranlagen, Spül- und Waschmöglichkeiten. Ausreichend, neu, schön ... kann man nichts sagen. Fast nur Einheimische Urlauber. Die Lage ist für Familien ohne Auto eher anspruchsvoll, wenn es um Ausflüge geht. Es fahren Busse und Züge in der Nähe nach Zarautz und San Sebatian, aber man muss auch an die Station kommen. Der Platz liegt in eine, wirklich nicht hübschen Industriegebiet am Rande von Zumaia auf einer Anhöhe. Die Parzellen haben eigentlich keinen Schaffen, sind als Terrassen angelegt. Ruhe kann man haben, dies ist aber eher zufäkllig und nicht zuverlässig, je nachdem ob auch Jugendgruppen da sind, die die halbe Nacht feiern und grölen. Ebenso kann man bei der Beleuchtung des Platzes auch nachts anspruchsvolle Tätigkeiten machen, die Licht erfordern. Das Restaurant Orrua ist nicht zu empfehlen, außer man will nur was trinken... total überteuert und qualitativ nicht wirklich lecker. Um mit dem Hund gassi zu gehen, muss man den Berg runter laufen und auch wieder hoch. Fazit: Es war okay, aber nochmal würden wir nicht hinfahren und empfehlen können wir es auch nicht, ausser zur Durchreise.

Camping Bungalows Zumaia is located in Zumaia, one of the most beautiful villages of the coast of Gipuzkoa. Surrounded by green mountains, two beautiful beaches, with spectacular views of the Basque Coast Geopark , where you can enjoy the Flysch …and the Karst. You can also visit the old town, the marina, and discover the Basque cuisine in the restaurants and bars. Enjoy your holidays in our campsite with familiar atmosphere and tranquility. You will find lots of activities to do during your stay among us. The new family campsite has modern and functional facilities, professional service and a long list of activities where the whole family can enjoy. The campsite is distributed in hillside terraces of grass. All plots are 70m2 and separated by hedges. The plots have electricity, water tap and some of them drainage too. Its location in the hillside of mount Basusta, gives it a magnificent view of Mount Artadi and its great Mediterranean wood. Our campsite has 5 types of bungalows. 3 of them are adapted to people with physical functional diversity, with capacity from 2/3 up to 4/6 people. Perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape, their design, materials quality, along with the equipment, the bungalows offer a comfortable and friendly stay. Bathroom facilities are totally equipped and adapted for people with physical functional diversity. Furthermore, in the laundry area you will find washing machines, dryer and sinks. In the pool area the children will specially enjoy swimming while adults sunbathe in the solarium. There is a children’s playground. The sports centre in the village is 15 min away where customers can play paddle, tennis, football and so on In the bar-restaurant, next to the reception, you can taste combination plates or an extensive menu of plates and take away. There is a small supermarket with basic products and typical products of the area.
