Nice campsite, to recommend
Large, beautiful campsite. Not completely flat in some places, but if you drive through to the back, there are flat and large pitches. The pool area is mainly used by the children, but that's OK. It also looks bigger in the pictures than it is. All the campers (short and long stay) are very friendly... and make an effort to communicate if you don't speak Dutch. The staff are also very, very friendly and most of them speak very understandable German. Unfortunately, the animation is now only in Dutch, but 98% of the campsite is only visited by Dutch people. I didn't like the fact that the toilets and showers are in one room without separation, especially as it's common for Dutch people to brush their teeth together as a couple in the evening (either together in the men's or women's room) and as the toilets are right opposite the washbasins, I found it a bit awkward. In our wash house there were 4 showers for the women, which was actually quite sufficient (except at peak times). You have to bring your own toilet paper, so the toilets were also very clean. Washing up areas under the roof, but outside. No problem when the weather is nice. All in all, it is a very nice campsite that we will definitely visit again. Food is more expensive in the Netherlands than in Germany, so be careful when eating out. The small restaurant on the campsite is unfortunately very expensive, so we only ate there on the day of arrival.
