Simple but cozy - very nice and helpful owner family
We spent a few days of our summer vacation at this small, simple campsite twice (2006, 2010), both times at the end of August. It is located on the upper outskirts of Bol, a supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. The campsite is a terraced olive grove (you can buy the home-produced, award-winning, very... fine olive oil from the owner). It has a relatively narrow entrance and is therefore not ideal for large motorhomes or caravans. However, it is great for smaller caravans, motorhomes and especially for camping. There is a washroom with toilets and washbasins for men and women, which is cleaned several times a day. The 4 shower cubicles with hot water are located "open air" in front of the sanitary building. There is a lounge area with a communal fridge (including an ice compartment for cooling elements), a small kitchen, a large brick barbecue and two outdoor sinks. It is only a few minutes by car to "Zlatni Rat", the famous beach of Bol, and to the town, about 15 minutes downhill on foot and about 20-25 minutes uphill again. But you have a fantastic view of the sea. The owners (the Cvitanic family) are very nice and helpful. All in all, the campsite is small, cozy and informal and is very suitable for young people and those young at heart who don't need excessive luxury and want to spend a nice camping vacation for a reasonable price.
