Space for short stays to get to know the surrounding area
The location on a beautiful lake promises a good time here. There is direct access to the reservoir from the campsite, otherwise it is almost inaccessible. The reception speaks English and is friendly. The site itself suffers considerably from the not particularly friendly impression of the permanent... campsites. The pitches are very small and sometimes difficult to access. Only a few pitches are suitable for larger motorhomes and caravans. The sanitary facilities are old and not particularly well maintained. It rained in through the roof of the sanitary block we used. We are happy to accept a reduction in comfort for otherwise good conditions. We severely restricted our stay here.

After doing a bit of research on this site, we were really looking forward to visiting. Unfortunately all the information available seems out of date. We found a lovely site in a beautiful location, but sadly rundown and badly in need of maintenance in all departments. This is a huge site with shops,... pools, play areas, tennis and football courts. These are all closed and obviously have been for some time. Half of the site is cordoned off and overgrown and the rental chalets are inaccessible. The top of the site appears to be given over to a caravan graveyard. The toilet and wash blocks were plentiful although filthy and in need of industrial cleaning. We found it really quite sad. With major care and maintenance this could be a wonderful site, it would be a must visit for nature lovers everywhere.
