"Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Camping Resort - Wir sind vor allem für unsere Tochter diesen Campingplatz angefahren, da die Poollandschaft und das Freizeit-Angebot für Kinder sehr üppig ist. Wir waren enttäuscht (um nicht zu sagen angewidert) als wir die Sanitären Anlagen nutzen mussten. Der Platz ist sehr groß, entsprechend viele Leute gibt es und entsprechend hoch ist der Gesamt-Trubel und die Lautstärke. Mit Abstand das Beste war die Pizzaria, welche extrem gute Pizza anbietet. Alles in allem finde ich den Preis viel zu hoch für das was uns geboten wurde. Ich würde es nur Reisenden mit Kindern und maximal für 1-2 Nächte empfehlen.

"Schöner Platz in häßlicher Umgebung - Man wird sehr freundlich empfangen, die Stellplätze sind sehr groß und es ist alles sehr sauber. Free WiFi auf dem gesamten Platz. Eine sehr schöne Poolanlage gibt es auch. Das war es allerdings auch schon an Positiven!😞 Der CP liegt inmitten von häßlichen PlastikPlanen-Gewächshäusern (wovon man auf dem Platz allerdings nichts sieht) , der Strand besteht aus groben Kies und mit dem Fahrrad kann man auch nicht weit fahren, weil es ringsum durch die Berge steil hoch geht. Und der CP ist ohne ACSI Card total überteuert 🤤 In der Vorsaison 1 Person mit Stellplatz inkl. Strom 😲 28€ pro Tag.

"Überwinterung - Wir haben das 1. Mal gecampt und gleich 2 Monate. An der Reception wurden wir sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Esther und Tino, beide sprechen deutsch, haben sich sehr bemüht und uns immer wieder mit Rat und Tat geholfen. Der Campingladen ist gut audgestattet und ebenfalls sehr bemüht. Der Campingplatz(sehr sauber) liegt direkt am Mittelmeer und man kann dort gut laufen oder mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sein. Wir werden wieder kommen und freuen uns schon darauf

"Zufahrt kein Hingucker / Platz aber ok - Egal, aus welcher Richtung man kommt, der Platz ist in Carchuna an der N340 gut ausgeschildert. Die Zufahrt führt zuerst 1 km zwischen Gewächshäusern hindurch! Kompetenter und freundlicher Empfang vor Ort. Der Plazt besteht aus einem lang gestreckten Gelände mit grösstenteils Eukalyptusbäumen, und einem Swimmingpool. Die Stellplätze sind unterschiedlich gross, und mit niedrigen Hecken unterteilt. In der Mitte des Platzes befindet sich das Sanitärgebäude. Dem Platz angrenzend liegt ein steiniger und recht wilder Strand, den man über eine schwach befahrene Strasse erreicht. Guter Standort für Ausflüge in die Alpujarras.

" - Wir habe eine Nacht auf dem Camper verbracht und sind nach der morgendlichen Dusche in den wenig ansprechenden, und nicht sauberen Sanitärbereich von dem nach fäkalien richenden Stellplatz ganz schnell wieder verschwunden. Sehr wenig ansprechendes Umfeld durch in dieser Region leider typische Gewächshäuser und dadurch vermertes auftretende Insekten aller Art :)

Don Cactus is a first class campsite of approximately 40.000 square meters. It has modern service and leisure installations. There are also a Bar and Restaurant with terrace with sea views, Supermarket, children’s play area, swimming pool with waterfalls, Jacuzzi, …barbecue area, adults outdoor gym, carwash. It is open all year long, and has special offers, of up to 70 % discount for long stays, during the period September-June. In the campsite there are 21 fully equipped bungalows which can sleep up to 5. These enable you to enjoy the campsite and special atmosphere without renouncing home comforts.
