We've been there twice now, this time with four families. The spontaneous breakfast buffet for the 3rd birthday of a little princess was super tasty, and the dinner was really good again. The scary forest was an absolute highlight, I was often scared,... but they always took the little children into consideration. An all-round great time, many thanks to the whole team! The terraced house was equipped with everything we needed and was also retrofitted for our youngest. The park itself has everything a child's heart and their relatives could wish for. Good shopping facilities,... restaurants, kiosk. There is also a cultural center, which we didn't manage to visit. There are great outdoor and indoor playgrounds. We were even lucky enough to be there at mushroom time, which sprouted right around the house. Everything is very neat and tidy. - Petr N.szeptember 2025Very nice for short or possibly even long breakIt's a big, but very nicely managed site. Facilities were well maintained, clean and working just fine. Little but well stocked shop and two restaurants. Pitches are OK size and there is always option to book the comfort one if you need more space. Our first pitch was little too far from electric, but... we asked the staff and they offered us another one, which was just perfect. Beach was also very nice and clean. Access to paths for cycling or running and proximity to town, all works fine. They only challenge was a restaurant as it was fully booked and the manager was quite rude sending us off with "what did you expect coming without booking?", so we did not even ask for later time. Whether in a tent or a luxurious bungalow, young and old can have a wonderful vacation together here. We were there with the whole family, from 1 year to 88 years old, and everyone really enjoyed it. There are activities... for young artists (handicrafts, stuffing stuffed animals, painting wood, indoor playground, numerous adventure playgrounds), youngsters (mini golf, table tennis, bike hire) and older people who like a cold beer or ouzo at the Greek restaurant or an Aperol at the Italian restaurant. You can really have a good time. Of course, the clean beach and Lake Senftenberg should be mentioned, where you can not only spend a great day on the beach, but also walk around it. Around the lake there is the observation tower, the harbor, a huge moated castle and various festivals depending on the month. We felt completely at home at the Senftenberger See family park! We had a great pitch with our little camper - in a quiet location and yet right in the middle of everything. Especially nice: everything is really free for children - playgrounds, activities, entertainment.... My daughter was absolutely happy and content.
We were also delighted with the food on offer: super tasty, varied and something for everyone! Even if the weather is bad, you don't have to leave - everything you need is on site. You simply feel welcome and in good hands.
All the staff, especially at reception, were very polite and helpful. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The whole complex is beautifully designed and ideal for families with children. As a wheelchair user, you can get around the campsite really well. But there is one... small exception. Unfortunately, the viewpoint on the campsite is not wheelchair-accessible as the edge of the path is too high.
This could be quickly remedied with a slope. If our health permits, we would be happy to return.

There are lots of small playgrounds, a soccer pitch and a large children's area. From the campsite, you can go on cycle tours of various lengths on well-maintained paths. The lake and beach are right next... to the campsite. Fresh bread rolls and much more are available at the "Seestern-Konsum". The sanitary facilities are clean and modern and are cleaned several times a day by the site team. The reception staff are friendly and competent. Only the WLAN could be improved. The pitches are sufficiently large and spacious.
