I've rarely been to a campsite on a long weekend where it was so quiet.
There are far too few washing up facilities, you always had to queue longer.

It started with what we felt was a somewhat unfriendly welcome. The reason for this was probably that we arrived at 4:25 pm and did not send an email to let them know that we would be arriving after 4 pm.
But it is difficult to write an email while driving,... the delay was due to the traffic situation. And we had also indicated in our booking that we would be arriving later (well after 4pm).
We hadn't thought about the "Father's Day weekend" and its effects when we booked.
We were on the summer meadow, and the area was booked exclusively by large families, with large fridges, countless crates of beer, party music until 11pm (the music was turned off at night!). For us as a couple traveling alone, who wanted to treat themselves to a few quiet days, the wrong place / wrong location and probably the wrong time. Unfortunately!!!
We liked the place overall and the handling on Sunday, the day of departure, at the information desk was super nice and accommodating. Thanks again for that!
We have one more comment. With such a large number of guests on such a weekend, it would be nice if the place was cleaned more than twice. We felt a bit sorry for the guests who stayed on the pitch on Sunday. The cleaning team only arrived after 2pm. And there was no clean area until then.

One real annoyance was the way my Amazon parcel was handled - the answer was simply: "This is only allowed for permanent campers." This is incomprehensible to me. A modern campsite... should also be able to offer such simple services for vacation guests.
The paths on the campsite are also more like gravel tracks. For a 5-star campsite, I expect a little more comfort and a more well-kept overall appearance.
What really bothered me, however, was the tone at reception. Every question, no matter how normal, came across as annoying or annoying. There was a complete lack of cordiality - instead there were instructive answers and discussions, e.g. about the electricity bill: you have to pay by bank transfer - payment is not possible on site, and this was made clear in a rather unfriendly tone.
My conclusion: The campsite has potential, but compared to other 5-star campsites, I would give it a maximum of 3 stars.

The campsite is simply great.
There is nothing to discuss.
However, you currently have a lady at reception who I would not want to deny her qualifications, but whose friendliness towards the guests leaves a lot... to be desired.
To put it modestly, the friendliness of the older lady from Olpe is not just subterranean, it's downright awful!
If this lady were employed in my company, she would be gone faster than she could think, despite her qualifications.
According to her coworker, they probably don't care whether guests are satisfied and welcome.
If that's the case, then it's their right.
But then they shouldn't be surprised if the guests gradually disappear.
As it was my second visit with them, because the first one was perfect, I would not have expected to meet such an employee.
Thank goodness there wasn't one on our first visit. We were there with our family and one of them had a run-in with their employee.
Believe it or not, there were many other guests who felt exactly the same way as we did with our family.
If you can't get rid of the lady in question because she's even sitting in the management office, ask me and I'll tell you how to do it.
This lady does a lot of damage when dealing with guests.
I think she might be better off back in Olpe, where she supposedly came from.
If you are short of staff, I will be happy to help you out.
I hope our third booked visit with you is under a better star.

I would have two suggestions: the heaters in the living room and bathroom are a bit confusing to operate.... We were quite cold the first night. An instruction manual would be very helpful here.
The same applies to the hotplate. It took me quite a while to figure out how to operate the appliance. A simple rotary knob would have done the trick, but manufacturers do everything they can to make electrical appliances as complicated as possible.
Apart from that, everything is perfect.
