Great for children as it goes in very shallow.NegatívumokOnly the meadow is available for vacationers. No water connections. Very bumpy field. No paths. Very narrow pitches. Washrooms very basic but clean. You have to queue to wash dishes as there are far too few places. The (party) meadow is very loud. Loud music from morning to night, preferably techno. Groundsman: "We're not in an old people's home here". Playing football despite the ban, i.e. you sometimes have a ball on the table or on your car. Loud conversations etc etc. Not a trace of mutual consideration. People also like to walk through between the caravans. The management is not interested in any of this. Apparently the site is known for this, unfortunately we didn't know. You have to pay money in advance and get nothing back if you want to escape and leave earlier. We really liked the pitch. Short walk to the beach and to the sanitary facilities, which were very clean and comfortable. We ordered bread rolls and they were ready to pick up at 7am! Super. Very nice staff in the kiosk and a very wide range of products, we wanted for nothing, The camping pitch is very clean and the rules promise a great time. We would love to come back.NegatívumokWLan is available but unfortunately only bookable, Which I don't think is appropriate for today's world. Here the operator should provide free access to the existing WLan.Relaxing weekendAs I mentioned in my advantages, the Platen campsite can be rated good to very good overall.
I particularly noticed the very friendly staff and the cleanliness of the site, including the sanitary facilities.
The campsite definitely deserves the 5 stars from the ADAC.
We would love to come back and can highly recommend this campsite.

The sanitary buildings are not luxurious, but absolutely clean and in good condition.

PERSONNEL/Service
Generally helpful and eager to help. However, the problem-solving strategies seem to be more in the direction of permanent campers and families.
CONCLUSION
Me and my family will avoid the site for the next time and pitch our tent somewhere else, as it was no longer a vacation for us due to many (avoidable) little things. Unfortunately, asking the site management didn't solve anything either.

D.augusztus 2021Pozitívumok- a beautiful beachNegatívumokLong distances as a short-term camper, on the meadow, to the sanitary building, plus really little to minimal lighting on the pathsWide, wide open spaces....We arrived on a Friday afternoon, the contact at reception was friendly and nice. Check-in went smoothly and quickly. Reservations had been made online beforehand. A pitch with relatively high grass awaited us. It was quite a long way from our pitch in the A-area to everything, getting water, the sanitary... building with washing up, quite a long way. Showering is via a sep key. You are billed on departure.
The site is more of a permanent campsite, we would say, where there is also a meadow where day campers can spend their vacation. There were plenty of playgrounds. There are also goats that you can feed. The other campers on the meadow were very nice and helpful at the time. The cleanliness in the sanitary building was "NAJA", but it was also very busy due to the large number of guests on site. Unfortunately, there were not enough sinks. There were queues to wash up. There were also several tent areas. It was fine to camp there for a week at this price :-). NEVER AGAINBefore you book here, you should look for events on the homepage. They advertise great events for young and old. What appears? The dates for the bulky waste.(see photo) THAT WOULD BE EVERYTHING SAID ABOUT THIS PLACE We had fortunately only planned 1 night here. We would NEVER go here again, even if we... were just passing through. Then rather in a parking lot on the highway. It starts with the unfriendly wannabe barrier attendant at the entrance. Still from the 70s "This is forbidden here generation" The entire place makes a very unkempt impression (see attached photos) The place consists of more than 2/3 of permanent campers. These pitches, some of which are also very unkempt, are all close to the beach. As a tourist you have to walk a long way to the beautiful beach (which belongs to the municipality). We strongly advise against renting caravans here. We saw a few from the outside and that was enough. Absolutely garbage shacks that you would rather not see from the inside. The public areas are all unkempt and mostly overgrown with weeds. If you see the restaurant (according to the menu more like a kebab restaurant) in the same unkempt condition from the inside as from the outside, you lose all appetite. We read the reviews here in advance and thought it shouldn't be too bad for the one night we were staying. It got worse.....Automatikusan lefordítva.

BUT...especially the tent meadow is almost a cheek. There were 2 weeks of rain before us. And not too short. When we arrived with our tent, there were also a few moments of continuous rain. The campsite, which was on a slight slope, was literally flooded.... The ground was soaking soft everywhere. You were literally standing in the mud. It felt like you were in Wacken. Drenage?! Not a chance. The grass was also far too high. So in a few days there was a foul, putrid smell under the tent. It was difficult to stay longer at the campsite. Unfortunately, power points are also in short supply for campers. In my opinion, more should be invested in the camper meadow. More maintenance wouldn't hurt either. We have already camped there 2 times. Will we come again? Doubtful. If the meadow was cared for more and invested in a drainage system so that you can survive longer wet periods without mud and rotting on and under the tent, then I'd be happy. In addition, the grass on the meadow is not mowed and is 30+ cm high in places. Furthermore,... the pitches are given away directly without the turf even having a chance to regenerate, resulting in a foul smell of rotting grass/slurry over the meadow. We paid over €600 for 4 people for 15 days with an additional tent, and unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right at all. The last thing in my opinion is that a car on the site costs € 5 and in the parking lot every single entry costs € 2 ...Automatikusan lefordítva.

But that's where the positives end. The windows can't be closed properly because the handles are broken. The beds are worn out and urgently need to be thrown away. Everything is carelessly furnished. There are cables everywhere. This is not... a place where you feel comfortable.
