- Wolfgang P.June 2018PozitívumokCentral campsite with good excursion possibilities and guarded throughout. Good price/performance ratio for Italy.NegatívumokNone experienced.Well located city campsite (southern outskirts of the city)Campsite ideally located for excursions to Lucca, Pisa and nearby mountains. We visited these places by bike. ntown as a usual seaside resort with a wide promenade (2 km long), but 3 km from the campsite. No problem with the bike.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- René H.May 2016Not our tasteA nice walk to the sea. Good briefing at reception, but not particularly friendly. Price performance does not match.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Marco K.June 2015very surprisedAfter the sometimes negative reviews about the campsite, we just have to say something positive. We stayed at the Viareggio campsite from 08.06.-12.06.2015. We were greeted very nicely in German and as our caravan was a little larger at 7 meters in length, we were quickly allocated a larger pitch at... no extra cost. The pitch was big enough, very clean (meadow) under papeln (shade). The sanitary facilities were very clean and the staff cleaned the pitch and the toilets/showers thoroughly every day. All in all, it is a very great, quiet place that we would like to visit again.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Femke v.May 2015PozitívumokQuiet (in May), forest nearbyNegatívumokHostile staff, no TV possible, many mosquitoes, no free WiFi, at beach watch out for bicycle theftDon't! Rather find a nice campsite!Arriving at the well-kept, nice-looking campground, we were snapped at at the front desk. In any case, we had to pay cash, I guess that was clear. We looked for a place with our camper, but it turned out we couldn't receive television with our dish anywhere (!). When I asked about it at the reception,... it was said (in Dutch) that this was indeed difficult. I was advised to ask other guests ... (they are in charge, not the guests?). There turned out to be 1 (already occupied) place with reception. Okay: WiFi then, after all, that's what they advertise. Unlike other campsites, here you have to pay for an hour of WiFi: how old-fashioned! We sat outside, but because of the huge amount of mosquitoes, we quickly went back inside. We left early the next morning. At the reception we were treated hostilely, which I didn't understand: I HAVE paid cash, haven't I? Absolutely not recommended, this campsite.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- sebastiano f.August 2014excellent restaurantwe spent the middle days of august in this campsite. The distance to the sea is about 800 mt is indispensable the bike. The bus passes near the entrance that performs shuttle service with neighboring municipalities.Nice swimming pool .EXCELLENT RESTAURANTAutomatikusan lefordítva.
- Gabriele B.May 2013Unfortunately, you have to pay for everything. E.g. shower tokens. Heating in bungalow extra. Unfortunately no hot water in the sanitary facilities for washing dishes and brushing teeth. Bicycles in very poor condition and too expensive. Reception sometimes quite unfriendly. Sometimes quite noisy due to electric cars belonging to the owner's children driving around the campsite for ages.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Joachim L.May 2013Quite centrally located, good bus connections, about 800m from the sea. Unfortunately no hot water at the sink and washbasin. Otherwise quite tidy.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Walter H.May 2012Hot water only against stamps. Quite noisy in the morning because of the neighboring chicken farm. We were only passing through for one night.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Johann W.May 2011Nice, family-run campsite, located south (approx. 1.5 km) of Viareggio. The location is only partially recommended for a beach vacation. You have to walk 800m through a forest to get to a wild, public beach. But as an intermediate location - top. The inexpensive site offers flat meadowland with plenty... of trees and sufficient peace and quiet despite being close to the town. There is a restaurant and a small supermarket on site, but if you need more, there is a "CONAD" supermarket outside in the nearby residential complex. The sanitary facilities are clean, but of an open-top design. Coins of € 0.5 are required for showering and are available at reception. Worth mentioning is the harbor town of Viareggio with a spacious promenade, nice restaurants and stores. The harbor with hundreds of luxury yachts is striking. Tip: From the bus station (at the beginning of the promenade) a bus runs several times a day directly to the center of Pisa (40 minutes for € 3.00). I would also like to point out that bicycles are highly recommended, as there is a lot to see and the distances are easier to cover at approx. 2 km.Automatikusan lefordítva.
